Chapter 30 It was still dark outside when Jessie slipped out of the warm cocoon of Galen’s embrace to go to the bathroom. When she was done, she headed downstairs to start the coffee, Causy padding along patiently behind her after getting a good morning petting. She knew from their previous conversations, and common sense considering his trade, that he was likely an early riser and would be grateful for the caffeine. Fresh cup in hand, she made her way out to the porch, sitting on the rope swing as Causy settled at her feet.
