A Strange Pause
Every single person inside my house turns towards me.
My dad is already standing.
Irina is beside him.
Vilkas is near the entrance, wearing that same cold expression he always carries.
The three of them stare at me.
As though they have been waiting.
It actually feels like they were all about to step out on a mission to find me when I arrived.
“Where the hell have you been to? Why did you always have to make yourself the centre of concern at every moment in life?” Irina attacks me with her words immediately.
