The Truth I Was Never Meant to Hear
I didn't know if it was still right that I go downstairs.
Beta Damon bursts into a loud laughter afterwards, calming the heaviness that struck in the air of the living room.
“You know that's impossible. She has always and would always be the first heir of Alpha Kegan. I know everything and how for years we've fought to keep the pack in order. Especially after your friend died.”
Genuinely, my heart felt lighter at his laughter.
