Chapter 15: The Friends meets the new friend

“Oh that’s is so funny!” Megan said after I told them about what happened.
I told them everything, from the ditching part..to me being the evil sister to Sacha, the deal, and of course, I also told them about Roux dropping me in front of the drop-off area because he doesn’t want to be seen with me.
How ironic!
“I can’t see anything funny.” I glared at her when she can't stop laughing.
My good mood is ruined.
I really thought that I will be going out of Roux’s car in the parking area, and I am already imagining the reactions of the students who will be seeing us. I have a high expectation!
But that never happened!
“Well..it is so funny that he doesn’t want to be seen with you! You are Saoirse Eloise! Whoever will be seen with you, is so lucky! And yet here he is..he is not interested at all!” she said while looking as if she is really having fun teasing me.
“Well because that is Roux! He doesn’t like anyone except Sacha!” Amber butts in.
“Well maybe he likes Sacha-“
Amber lightly slapped Megan's arm.
“Megan! Shut up! Don’t say that!” Amber said and Megan’s eyes widen when she saw how pissed I am now.
“Sorry.. what I meant is..” she said as she tried to look for an excuse but wasn't able to come up with any.
“Whatever!” I hissed. “He cannot like my sister! Because my sister will never like him!”
I exhaled harshly.
“Why won't Sacha like Roux?” Amber asked, her eyes are full of curiosity.
“Because Sacha knows that I like Roux, and she told me that she doesn’t see Roux that way. She knows well how much I like Roux! So she wouldn’t dare!” I said, sounding as if I am convincing myself than them.
“Well..people’s feelings do change my dear. So if I were you, make sure that Sacha won’t have a change of heart, or else, you are doomed!” Megan warned, which made me think that it is really possible that it might happen.
So I have to make sure, that Sacha won’t fall for Roux!
“Why don’t we find a boyfriend for Sacha?” Amber just suddenly said with an evil smile.
I rolled my eyes at her, then shook my head.
“That’s a good idea if she is not my sister, my twin sister to be exact!" I reminded her. "I have no plans to do something that might put her in danger! Who knows? The guy that we will introduce to her will just break her heart or do something bad!” I said feeling overprotective of my sister.
I know, I wanted so badly to have Roux, and I will do anything, everything..just to have him.
But that doesn’t mean that I will endanger my twin sister!
I love my sister so much that I won’t ever think of harming her!
Amber pouted before she gave me an apologetic look.
I know she is just trying to help, and she also doesn't want my sister to be hurt as well..
I sighed.
Roux is clever, how can I outsmart him?
I was about to change the topic because it is stressing me out when suddenly an ice-cold coffee appeared in front of me.
I saw the shocked look on my friend's face.
I looked up to see who’s this brave soul in front of me.
“My queen!” he said before he bowed at me with a smirked on my face.
His face is so bright that it emits positive energy.
As usual, he is on his happy self vibes.
His beautiful smile is contagious as always, so I fight so hard to hide my smile.
“Callahan Lennox..” I greeted him before I accepted the coffee from him.
When I looked at the coffee, I am surprised to see that it is my favorite!
My head tilted as I watched him sit on the bench beside me.
Currently, we are here in the campus garden, trying to relax in our free time.
The Campus Garden is vast, and it is so relaxing and beautiful here..that's why it is where students usually go to unwind after a stressful class.
“So..what brought you here?” I asked and raised my eyebrows at him when he just sat on the bench and just stared at me.
He shrugged and gave me his boyish smile.
He is showing off his dimples again, and I swear, I heard someone gasped. Not sure who among my two friends since my eyes are focused on Callahan.
“Well.. I just decided to see you..” he paused. “Just visiting my new friend.” He said and he emphasized the word friend.
I nodded at him.
“Well..as you can see, your NEW friend, is with her friends..so if you haven’t noticed, you are disturbing her,” I said and smiled fakely at him.
Yes, he is now my friend, but I don’t appreciate him, showing up anytime..especially not this time when I am in a bad mood.
“Wait? What new friend?” Amber asked, she looks as if she cannot believe it. “Are you two friends now?”
“Saoirse, you allowed him to be your friend?” Megan asked when she recovered.
“What’s so surprising about that?” Callahan chuckled and I just rolled my eyes.
My friends will really react this way. Because they know that I am not the friendliest person ever.
I am not even friendly with my suitors, not even with my crush! So I understand why they can’t believe it.
“Because Saoirse doesn’t do friends! I mean! She doesn’t accept someone as a friend so easily! That’s why her friends are just me and Amber!” Megan said as if I was not there!
My jaw dropped. Did she just literally informed Callahan that I have no other friends than them?!
“That’s right! She doesn’t like people in general! So what did you do for you to be considered as her friend?” Amber asked again.
“Uhmnn..girls in case that you have forgotten, I am just here. Stop talking as if I am not here in front of you!!” I said in an annoyed voice.
Callum chuckled. My eyes transferred to him.
“Well.. I don’t know.. maybe she likes me?” Callum said before he turned to me and gave me a wink.
I rolled my eyes at him.
He must be dreaming!
“No, she doesn’t like you..” Amber said, her eyes narrowed as she looks at him. “Maybe..she is just fascinated with you..” she said like more to herself.
“Yeah..I think so too. Maybe you just caught her interest. That's why she is tolerating your presence.” Megan agreed.
I am just looking at my friends. And I am happy that they know me too well.
Megan’s head snapped towards me.
“Tell us Saoirse, what did you see in him?”
“Maybe because he is hot?” Amber answered on my behalf.
“No, she will not make friends with someone just because he is hot!” Megan shook her head.
I smirked.
She is so right.
But I just shrugged, not giving them an answer.
