THREE Since Arya did not want to travel home on her father’s private jet, she wanted to use public means because it always helped her interact and, since she did not want to spend the next 5 hours of the flight just browsing on her phone, she informed her father that she was taking a flight home and that she was not taking his jet, he had no problem with it. Her father was always understanding and the fact that she was preferring public means to the private one only meant that she was not the type of daughter that wanted everything in her life to be private just because she was a daughter to the most famous billionaire in New York City. She booked her flight online. A full fare first class seat in the first class, Hayley wanted to take their private jet home, so that morning, they took different flights back home. There were a few people in the first class, probably five or something. Arya chose a seat right behind. Every other seat where she could have her time alone, on the left hand was another seat that was taken by a young man probably in his late twenties. It was some few meters from where she was. She said that was according to what she wanted. She always hated it when a stranger tried to talk to her while she was traveling. That was what she was trying to avoid. As soon as the flight took off, she got busy on her MacBook laptop, she was browsing and listening to music at the same time on her phone. She was so engrossed that she did not even feel it when her neighbor took a seat next to her until he taped her on her shoulder. “What?” She asked, obviously irritated by the fact that the guy had the guts to move to her seat and disturb her. “I am sorry for disturbing you. When I think I kind of know you from somewhere or I might be confusing you for someone else.” He said, and she turned back to look at him. At this time, all her attention was back on him and, for the first time, when she saw his face, she couldn’t help but get lost in his sea-rover-blue almond-passionate fire with passionate eyes. He had a deep sexy voice, his Viking-gold hair made him look like he was sweet sixteen, he was putting on a dark blue tuxedo but she could not fail to notice his muscles, he must have been hitting the gym more often, the few seconds that she turned to look at him, she had managed to analyze every other part of him, his earthy scent swirled around and wafted her nose as she took a deep breath and finally managed to find her voice and talk to him. “I think you might be confusing me with someone else. Who are you anyway? Don’t you think it is creepy for you to just move and sit here without my permission? That is creepy enough." She asked as she placed her laptop on the C-shaped table and turned to look at him. He was staring at her while licking his lips, p*****t! “Yes, I know, but I could not help it. In fact, when I walked in here and saw you seated here, I wanted to come and talk to you immediately but I held myself back, and ten minutes later I said maybe this was my only opportunity to get to talk to you here. I am., I am sorry it sounds creepy although my mom taught me well." I bet she did, she said inwardly. “Okay, I asked who you are and what you want because, as you can see, I was busy here trying to do something when you rudely interrupted, what do you want?” She asked and he sighed. She was kind of expecting such a kind of an attitude from her. She seemed like she was a no-nonsense type of a lady and that resistance was always a turn on him. “Oh, my bad, my name is Nelson, Nelson Collymore and what about you?” He asked and bit his lower lips, something that pissed Arya even more. She wanted so much to pick up her phone and call Hayley and tell her about the strange perverted neighbor on the plane, but it would sound so rude and she knew that Hayley would tell her about her if I told her so? She sort of begged her to travel with her in her father’s private jet but Arya’s mind was already made up, she wanted to go back home by private means. “I don’t think you moved here to know my name, Nelson. Just go straight to the point and tell me what you want and, by the way, I hate it when you bite your lip, you look like a p*****t and that is a turn off for me.” “Oh, my bad, then I am sorry, but don’t judge me on that, because I just told you my name. I don’t think it would hurt to know your name too pretty, you are too pretty to act like that, come on.” He said, and she sighed. She knew that he was the inquisitive type and he was not going to stop until she told him what he wanted to hear. “Okay, I will tell you my name, but only if you promise to leave me alone and go back to your place.I took this seat because I thought I was going to get the peace I wanted as I worked on my computer.” “I can’t promise you that, but I will try not to disturb you. You are so fierce and you are just so interesting. I think I would like to know you more. That is, if you don’t mind, what is your name?” “Oh, s**t, it seems like you won’t leave me alone, Nelson, but I was really busy here before you decided to interrupt me. Anyway, I am Arya, Arya Scarlett.” She said. She did not want to include her father’s name because she thought that it was not necessary. “Wow, such a beautiful name for a beautiful lady like you. Anyway, I am just heading back home. What about you?” “Don’t you think that you are now getting too personal? You wanted to know my name and I already told you, what is it with you anyway, are you stalking me or have you been sent by someone here to torment me and deny me peace?” She asked, slightly raising her voice. “Hey, come on, there is no need to raise your voice at me, I was just playing nice and I wanted to get to know you, you caught my attention and I would not just hold back, I wanted to talk to you. But if you feel like I am becoming a bother to you, then, I am sorry, I will gladly go back to my seat and order some champagne and sleep, because that is all we get to do in this first class.” He said and Arya felt like she had overreacted, even though the guy looked like p*****t to her, she could use his company to kill the boredom, after all she was doing nothing on her laptop, rather than just scrolling down on Tik-tok and watching video clips “No, it is okay, you can stay. I was not doing much anyway. I was just trying to google facts about running a company. You can stay. I did not mean to be rude.” “Oh really, so you are running a company? Wow, that must be nice of you.” “Oh, not really, I am actually heading back home to take over my family’s real estate company. I just graduated a few months ago and now my dad thinks that it is the right time to go home and help him run the company. Also, I swear I know nothing about running a company, but you know I am left with no choice than to go back home and learn to run it, after all this time has been waiting for me since I was a kid” she said as she took her laptop. “Here, let me help you with the better sites, where you can get great facts. They will be helpful and, by the way, I am also the CEO of my father’s company. As I said before, I was just heading back home from a business trip. I had to go to Seattle to meet some business clients.” “Wow, I hope you wouldn’t mind if I asked you a few questions about running a company, especially a real estate company, now that it is what I am going back to New York City to do?” “Of course, not. I will tell you one thing though, being a CEO, is the best thing, but it has its own advantages and disadvantages.” He said, and for the first time since Nelson moved to her seat, she felt like they were now having the most important discussion in her life. She wanted so much to know more about running a company and meeting with Nelson as like a blessing in disguise. They talked so much about realty companies and a lot about real estate agencies, and by the time they got to New York, she felt like she needed more time with him, but they had to part ways. She walked to her father’s company. She not only had met a good guy on the plane that had taught her so much about the company and running it, but she had also gotten herself a friend that she knew she could count on in case she needed help with the company. She, even though she did not tell him her company’s name, Nelson left her his business card which she stuffed so well in her clutch bag, she knew she would someday be in need of it.
