Chapter 11

Now, my friends knew our plan and I got really shocked that they're not mad at me and even willing to help him.

It's afternoon and I'm walking my way to my lookout. Boring naman sa classroom, pinapabasa lang kami at hindi naman nagdi-discuss si ma'am. Palagi na lang nauudlot ang pagpunta ko dito sa lookout dahil sa mga nangyayari.

I looked around before entering the cube baka may nakasunod. I swinged my hands around while coughing because of the dust flying around.

I took my phone and turned the light on and saw many memorable things I did a years ago. Kompleto pa din ang mga gamit ko, nakalagay pa din ito kung saan ko nilagay nung umalis ako.

"Woah!" I exclaimed nang makita ko ang matagal ko nang hinahanap na tennis ball. I looked around and saw pictures of me with my friends having fun. I've grown a lot, wow!

I was checking things when my phone vibrated. I received a text from Maureen. We have to go and pick what clubs to join.

"Kinakabahan ako!" Saad ni Krisha na pinaypay ang sarili habang naglalakad sa hallway. Papunta na kami ngayon sa kanya-kanyang club para mag-audition.

"Dito na ako." I said nang matapatan namin ang room for music club.

"Goodluck!" Sabay na sabi ng tatlo. Tinanguan ko lang sila at pumila na.

"Omg! She's good at singing?!"

"Baka, playing instruments."

"Ay hindi niyo alam? She's a vocalist and a drummer."

Bulongan ng mga students na nakapila. Bulong pa ba yan? Hello? Dinig na dinig ko?

"Aqua! Dude, I didn't know you're interested in music?" Triton said and my bumped my shoulder slowly. Oh please, he's so annoying.

"Why would you know?" I answered sarcastically.

"Yeah, that's why I have to know you more." He said and winked. Ayan tuloy napakamot sa batok niya dahil binatukan ko.

"Aray ha." Sabi niya, alam kong nagpipigil lang 'tong magmura dahil nasa likod lang namin ang pila ng arts club where Crystal joined. f*****g yes, we studied a lot about her likes and don'ts.

"Bagay kayo! Why don't you two date?" Sabi ng babaeng nasa harap namin. What the f**k?! That is the most disgusting thing I've heard.

"Why don't you shut your filthy mouth and mind your own business?" Gigil na sagot ko. Natahimik naman ang babae at tumalikod lang sa amin.

Triton was annoying the hell out of me. Kung ano-anong sinasabi niya sa gilid ko na hindi ko naman maintindihan.

I turned around when Kale shouted my name. "Aqua!" Pero sumama ang tingin nito nang makitang nasa gilid ko si Triton. Sino ba namang hindi maba-badtrip sa mukha nito.

"Okay, gotta go. Andito na mga alipores mo." He said and left. Ang sabihin niya takot lang siya dahil wala yung grupo niya.

"Anong ginagawa nun dito?" Tanong ni Kale pagkalapit niya. Kasama niya sina Ten, Win, Jae at Hendery. Ilang araw ko nang hindi nakikita yung iba. Ewan ko kung anong pinagkakaabalahan ng mga yun, wala naman akong pake.

"Bina-badtrip ka na naman ba?" Tanong ni Hendery.

"No, may tinanong lang." I answered. Tumango silang lima at pumila sa likod ko. Sila ang members ng bandang binuo ko, Sixth Sense.

Kahit na puro pasaway kami noon, sikat ang group band namin sa buong district. Madami kaming napanalonang battle of the bands at madami ring nagi-invite sa aming tumugtog. Kilala ang sixth sense dahil sa kakayanan nitong maghype ng crowd. Our main genre is rock and rnb pero kaya din naming mag soul music.

Sixth Sense consists of a six members. Me, Kale, Hendery, Win, and Jae. I'm the main vocalist, Jae and Kale are the sub. Hendery's in charge of the drums, minsan ako. Kale on the bass guitar and Win on the electric guitar while Jae on the lead guitar

Naghiyawan ang mga tao sa loob ng auditorium pagkapasok namin. Todo papogi naman yung lima sa kilid ko, sarap manakal.

"Pasado agad yan."

"Siyempre beh, mukha pa lang."

"Ang pogi mo Kale!"

Usap-usapan ng mga students na nakatingin sa amin.

"Need pa ba ng audition? Of course not, we're glad na buo pa rin ang sixth sense after 2 years. But please perform one song for us." The club president spoke through the monitor.

Sabay kaming umakyat ng stage and I got goosebumps. The feeling of standing on a stage in front of a crowd is a magical feeling for me. Even though I hate crowded places but whenever I'm standing on the stage with a mic on my hands. It's a magical feeling for me.

"Wow, it's been a long time since I hold a guitar." Win said while caressing the electric guitar.

"What song should we perform?" Hendery asked while fixing his drum set.

"Tomboy by Destiny Roger." I answered and turned on the crowd and smiled.

"Whoo! That's hot!" Hiyaw ni Jae.

"Let's go." Win said and started strumming his electric guitar for the opening. The crowd cheered for each one when I started singing the first verse and Kale's doing the second voice.

Walang kupas, ang gagaling pa din ng members ko. I gazed my sight on Kale while singing. He smiled, saying that I'm doing good. I winked at him and smiled.

Yow! I missed this kind of feeling of performance on stage. It gives me f*****g butterflies in my tummy.

The crowd's getting bigger as the students outside rushed in. Madami ring nagrereklamo na huwag papasukin dahil exclusive lang daw for members ng club.

Kale's doing really good at backing me up. All the members playing the instrumentals are getting fired up when we saw the other guys vibing down the stage.

Nilibot ng paningin ko ang mga estudyanteng tumatalon sa baba ng stage nang mapako ang tingin ko kay Triton na sinisigaw ang pangalan ko. Kumaway ito ng makitang nakatingin ako sa kanya kaya agad akong nag-iwas ng tingin. Baka ano na naman masabi nung impakto na yun.

I stood still on the center and closed my eyes, feeling the mic on my hand and the shout of the crowd. Heavenly.

I opened my eyes and chinned up.

"Still the best." Puri ni Jae. Nakipag-apir ako sa kanilang lima.

"Of course, saan ba kayo nagmana?" Sabi ko at nagtawanan sila. Anong nakakatawa? Jumbagin ko kayo isa-isa eh.

"Tangina! Lakas talaga ng tama sakin kapag nasa stage ka, Aqua." Puri ni Lucas na may pahawak-hawak pa sa dibdib na natutula sa mukha ko.

"Malakas talaga 'pag literal na pinatama ko 'to sayo." I said and showed him my fist. Nag-amen ang gago at pumunta sa likod.

"Thank you for that wonderful performance Sixth Sense. Sa wakas, napanood na ulit namin kayo. Can't wait for your performances for our upcoming events." The club president said and everyone applaud.
