Aiden’s POV
My Luna tasted so sweet. Once I had a taste of Jamie, Hunter couldn’t stop. I made sure I had her permission before I proceeded with what I had in mind. I had asked her permission, though I felt a little apprehension for fully mating. I decided to just focus on giving Jamie release.
Her arousal smelled so delicious, like her mate smell amplified. My mouth was practically drooling as I inhaled the scent of her arousal. And just like that, the carnal desire for my mate had taken control. I needed to taste her.
Jamie’s nectar, so sweet on my lips, had me needing more. Hunter wanted me to fully mate and mark her. I had visions of grabbing her hips and thrusting myself into her, but I realized Hunter was projecting these thoughts onto my mind.
I pushed Hunter down and focused on the task at hand. I slipped my finger into her, thrusting in and out, then curling my finger to hit that sensitive spot. In no time at all, Jamie’s moans had grown louder, and I growled. F*ck, she was so sexy.
I had never desired a woman as much as I had my mate, and, while I knew this was partly due to the mate bond, I also was drawn to Jamie’s beautiful character. So many she-wolves would literally kill to be Luna, and here she was afraid to let me and the pack down. My mate. Mine.
Once I had given Jamie the release she needed, I put my forehead on hers, looking into her eyes. She was panting from her release and still so f*****g sexy, her eyes hooded with lust. f**k. If I didn’t get up now, I would mate her right here and now. . I slid my hand behind her head, my fingers going through her hair, and kissed Jamie, showing her my desire for her. I just needed to know she was going to give us a chance.
Jamie rested her head on my chest, as I wrapped my arms around her. I decided to ask her, while it was fresh on my mind, and her orgasm fresh in hers. Seemed logical.
“Jamie?”
She looked up at me. Damn, I am in trouble with this one. “Yes?” She responded, her voice breathless, airy.
“I need to know…” Self-doubt started to creep into my mind too, but I pushed the fear of rejection down. I started again, “I need to know that you’ll give us a chance.” Her face flooded with fear.
“I want to say yes to you, but the responsibility of being Luna is too much.” Now that her stress had dissipated, she was able to verbalize her feelings more. Noted.
“We can work on the details, I just want you to give us a chance. I have never felt about anyone the way I feel about you.” I hoped she was able to see the sincerity on my face. “We can do a trial run, let you ease into the position,” I implored, trying to resolve her fears and doubts.
“Aiden, what do you want me to do? I have to help support Bella and Jillian. I have a job and a life. It’s not like I can up and leave everything,” she implored. I hadn’t forgotten about her responsibilities, but I knew that I had to find the right resolution for her.
“You can come live here with me. You can live in the packhouse if you want, with Jillian and Bella, or you three can get your own cottage near the park. And for your job, you can quit, if you wanted. Your boss seems like a douche anyways. I can pay you for your work,” I said, thinking I thought of everything.
“Do you mean s*x?” She implored, clearly offended. “I’ve had a lot of jobs, but I’m not a hooker!” She had clearly misunderstood me.
“No! I would never, Jamie. I meant as my Luna. The Luna position earns a generous salary.” Her face visibly relaxed, and she broke a smile at the misunderstanding.
“Oh,” she replied, with a giggle. She got serious again. “I don’t think Jillian would go for it.”
“We can figure something out. You said she’s a teacher, right? Where does she work?” I asked, trying to resolve the problem.
“Blackthorne Elementary,” Jamie answered, unsure where I was going with this.
“Ok, that works. We actually have quite a few pack children who go there and so the commute would be solved. We also have a daycare that the pack provides, so Bella would be around other children her age,” I reasoned.
“Other werewolves?” She said, getting nervous for her niece.
“Yes, but werewolf pups are very similar to human kids. Maybe a little faster or stronger, but they won’t shift till 16, so it’s a while off. Plus, Bella is part wolf too. Who knows if she has a counterpart.”
I felt this conversation was going well. With any luck, I’d have my Luna with me by the end of the day. That meant no more making Cameron stake out her job anymore to make sure she was safe. I felt like a creeper when the thought entered my head, but wolves are quite territorial of their mates.
“We also need to get you, and Jillian, if she wants, to a witch to see what is going on and get questions answered. That all will be easier if you’re closer.” She nodded her head.
“Let me give Jillian some time to cool off and I’ll call her and ask. Free rent, or lower rent, a backyard for Bella, and transportation to her job seem to be strong selling points that she might just say yes,” Jamie resolved.
Just then, Jamie’s stomach growled. Oh s**t, she hadn’t eaten since our date last night. I’m sure she’s famished. “Do you, uhh, want me to leave so you can get dressed and we can take a walk to the kitchen and get you some food?” I asked. Jamie nodded her head.
“I can call Jillian afterwards too,” she said. Her face shifted suddenly, and I squinted, trying to discern what it meant. “Did you, uhh, did you see me when they changed me at the hospital?”
I shook my head quickly. “No, I left the room. I wanted to give you your privacy. Anything you choose to share with me is on your terms. Even when you changed back, if you remember, I had left the room until you had dressed yourself.” Jamie nodded in acknowledgement, her face softening and relaxing again. I just want to prove to Jamie that I can be a good mate to her. I want to be just what she needs.
