Baron had told the girls not to react when they saw her body. He knew it would be bad but he had no idea how bad. He almost gasped as he helped her make her way over to the bath. Anger surged through him making his neck muscles tense up.
“Just step in here Luna.” Anna helped her bring her foot in the bath. “You are going to feel so much better.” Anna nodded to the girls as she helped Baron lower her into the tub.
They brought soap, hair rinse and lavender sprigs. One washed her hair, one washed her body and one ran back and forth with warm buckets of water.
Adella felt strong enough to stand on her own. Baron was very close but let her try. The girls wrapped her in the towels and helped her out of the tub. Cercie brought her dressing gown over and helped her get dressed.
“I do feel much better. Thank you girls.” Adella smiled at them.
“Of course Luna.” The three said in unison with a bow. They quietly left.
Baron watched the door shut and he looked back at Adella. “Lay back down, Love. You need to rest.” He pulled back the covers and she did as she was told. She agreed though. She couldn’t believe how weak she was.
She felt him slide in behind her, and it made her melt into him. He felt so good, so warm and safe. She snuggled in closer to him and pulled his hand around her cupping it on a breast. Baron responded with a deep groan and gently rubbed her backside with his pelvis. He curled into her shoulder gently kissing her mark, which sent shivers through her body. She pushed back on his pelvis and could feel he was aroused. Her right hand left his and reached back to pull him into her with a groan.
“Really Love?” He asked breathlessly wanting her more than anything in the world.
“Please.” She said with anticipation.
He shifted a bit and then she felt him make his way inside her. It lit a fire deep inside her and she lifted her top leg on his giving him better access. He was so slow and gentle. She turned her head to kiss him and his lips devoured hers thankful to have an outlet for his excitement.
Just having her next to him, moving in unison with him, returning his love was too much for him. They quietly climaxed together not wanting it to get out of hand. He could feel her p***y pulsing against him and he felt like he was the happiest man in the world. “I missed you.” He whispered. “I missed you.” She responded with faded words as she fell asleep. They drifted off to sleep intertwined with each other.
It would be two weeks before Adella was able to get out of her house. Her baby was growing leaps and bounds making it hard to move around. Baron offered to carry her but she insisted that she walk around and meet everyone. After walking around the compound she was very impressed with everything and excited for the future. As she made her way back to her house she was so tired and her back was hurting a great deal.
As she sat down on the bench outside her house a pain ripped through her and she let out a scream grasping the bench so hard as all she could do was lean forward. Anna came running and then went to get Rena. She would know what to do, Anna figured the baby was coming.
Rena quickly took control of the situation getting her Luna in the bed and getting her cloths off. Baron wasn’t sure she was strong enough yet for this but he could only watch her go through it. She was in labor for 6 hours, her screams coming faster as time when on. “It’s time” Rena said “ Beardown with the next cramp.
Adella did as she was told and suddenly the pressure released and the pain subsided. Then she heard the most beautiful sound in the world. The sound of her son’s screams as he took his first breath. “It’s a boy.” Rena exclaimed with a smile and she lifted him up for Adella to see.
Tears of joy slid down her cheeks as she took him in her arms. His round face was red and perfect. His father was let into the room and he rushed to her side.
“Are you alright?” He looked at Adella.
She smiled back and looked down at their son, “He is so beautiful.” Baron looked down at him and was totally smitten by him. “Hey Son.” He reached for him and took him from Adella.
The baby instantly quit crying and he looked at his father. They had the same eyes, the same chin and the same nose. Adella watched a tiny little hand reach out and touch Baron on the chin. It was a very special moment for all of them.
They both heard Pax yell “A son! It’s a son for the Alpha and Luna.” Followed by resounding cheers.
“I’d like to name him Marcus Baron.” Adella had thought long and hard about the names.
“Marcus sounds like a mans name to me.” Baron didn’t look away from his son.
“It is.” Adella was happy that he agreed.
Rena stood to the side long enough “Sorry Alpha, but Marcus needs to eat and it is alway key to try and latch right after birth.” Baron handed his son over to her and stood and watched. Reno undressed Adellas top half exposing one breast. She set the baby up next to it and Adella instinctually wrapped her arms around him. “Now rub the n****e just on the corner of his mouth, gently.”
Adella did as she was told and Marcus automatically turned and took it in his mouth and began suckling. It was the most beautiful thing that Baron had ever seen. His Love, his mate holding and feeding their newborn son.
Baron and Adella spent the next month just being a family, sharing Marcus duties and really getting to know each other again. It was surprising to Adella how fast the past fades away, even the bad things. They slept when Marcus slept. Baron always the doting mate made sure Adella had enough to eat. She still was working on building back her body and she was looking much better but she still had a ways to go.
Adella was feeling restless and wanted to go walk around the compound with Marcus. Nobody had really seen him yet. It was time, Adella was feeling much better getting stronger everyday. Baron seemed nervous as they got ready to leave. Marcus was in his arms, the only thing he got from his mother was her hair color. He had a head full of curly white blond hair. He was smiling and cooing now. His big blue eyes taking in everything around him.
The fresh air felt good on her face as she walked down to pack house. People saw them coming and excitement was in the air seeing the alpha’s son. Women gathered around and smiled at him, Baron let them take him and he was giggling and smiling at all of the them as they interacted with him. Adella sat down at the table and started helping with food prep for the evening meal. It felt good for her to have other women to be with. She had forgotten the nice conversations she would have with the girls at the Abbey.
“You should bring young Marcus over. Our son, Altar, is a month older but maybe they would be friends?” Delta, Pax’s mate, made the invite.
“Oh yes, that would be wonderful.” Adella thought for a moment. “What do you do with the children when you are working?”
“Helda and Anna care for them.” Delta answered.
“Oh, maybe it’s time Marcus joined in too.” Adella was excited for Marcus to make friends. As much as she wanted to, she couldn’t keep him all to himself.
“Oh, anytime.” Delta responded. “I could take you over there if you’d like.”
Adella and Delta walked over to the pack house, Marcus in tow. Delta quickly made her way around the house to the big room. The kids had mats to sleep on, toys, and each other. “Anna does some of the teaching, she knows a little how to read and write.”
“I learned to read and write at the Abby. Maybe I could help her?” Adella knew the power to knowledge.
