Baron carried Marcus back home with Adella on his arm. The sun was setting on the horizon and Adella made her way to the edge of the cliff. The ocean waves danced far below where she stood, but still it was too close. She backed away from the edge when she felt Baron come up behind her, she felt one strong arm hold against him and she curled her arms around his arm. “I don’t know that I would ever go back in the Sea again, but I think we need to know if Marcus can change.” It has been something weighing on her mind.
“I will bring him in the water to see. You didn’t have to go all the way in to change.” He reminded her. She had told him about her adventures out in sea. The dolphins, the stars and moon. She also recounted part of her captivity. She left out all the times he came to beat her, she knew it would break his heart that he couldn’t avenge her. He understood why she didn’t want to go back.
“That would be fine. We need to know.” She turned away from the picturesque ocean and headed home. It had been a long day. She liked feeling tired but not exhausted, it made her feel like she was gaining her strength back.
She rocked Marcus to sleep in the rocking chair that Baron had built for her. The hearth was warm and inviting. Marcus watched her with his big blue eyes and slowly they closed and there he lay peacefully in her arms, not a worry in the world. She studied his face, the big eye lashes, the puffs of blonde white hair sticking out of the blanket. He was just so precious to her. She tried to member if she felt the same about Dover. She could barely remember his face. That made her a bit sad but she didn’t have same connection to his father Sander. She remembered he was a good man, but she had not the emotional connection to him like she does with Baron. With a sigh she lifted Marcus to her bosom and carried him over to his crib. His face moved a bit laying down but then settled again.
As she stood over her son Baron came up behind her rubbing her shoulders. He could sometimes feel her sadness when she thought of Dover. He wished he could help her but he knew there was no way he could. He didn’t say a word, he didn’t need to. He gently kissed the top of her head and then went to stoke the fire before bed time. Spring still gets cold at night.
He turned down the bed for them and began to change into something to sleep in. He usually wore nothing but with a baby to get up and down it was a bit drafty for that. “Today was good day, was it not?” Baron tried to help her think about other things when she was feeling like this.
“Oh it was!” A smile came across her face. “Delta is wonderful. I am going to start helping to teach the kids to read and write.” She sat at the edge of the bed. “It did feel good to be part of something today. I think I will start helping with meal prep and become more involved. I feel like I have been hiding away.” Adella pulled her dress off revealing her very naked body.
“Maybe that’s how I like it.” Baron said with a playful tone as he reached and pulled her into bed next to him. “You don’t need that. I can keep you warm.” Kissing her.
“I am pretty sure you would keep me warm for every minuet of the day if you had your way.” She said seductively between kisses. Soon she succumbed to his touches as he slid her under him, kissing her passionately. Her fingers mixed in with his hair as her other hand slid around him to pull him closer. It never got old for her, the feeling when he first enters her. It always made her feel the spark they share. As his member rubbed her spot she caught her breath, he held it there and made slow small movements. The need for him to go to her depths grew strong inside her, she dug her fingers into his back begging him for a release. She tried to move her pelvis but found she couldn’t, not enough anyway. She could feel his hot breath on her mark which sent chills down her spine. “Oh Baron, Please.” Was all she could muster out as her c****x stood still wanting to burst forward but just needed that extra little push.
“I don’t think you are warm enough yet My Love.” He whispered, feeling her p***y caress him as he pressed against her spot. He could feel her wet p***y begin to drip for him and it was time. He thrust himself inside as deep as he could, lifting himself up on his elbows so he could see her beautiful face as he pleasured her.
She grabbed on to his waist pulling him in harder and harder feeling the tension in her body get to an intolerable pressure. “Oh Baron, Baron, Barooooooon” she screamed as she climaxed and he released his seed into her with one final thrust as she finished climaxing.
She was a wet hot mess under him, breathing deeply her nails still embedded into his skin. He moved after a bit, slowly in and out and her body jumped from the super sensitive tickle. “I do not know if I could handle another one.” She was still breathless and her legs were shaking from the aftershocks of her c****x.
It was the first time they made love since Marcus was born several weeks ago. It felt good to reconnect with her. He smiled as he rolled off of her and she curled up to his side with her hand on his chest. His life was perfect. So perfect, as he drifted off to sleep.
Adella fell asleep hard and fast in his arms. She woke up in a dream, it was morning and foggy where she was standing, her hair a mess all around her. She could smell sweaty horses and sweaty men. The thick fog hid what was she was smelling from her. She walked and she noticed that the ground under feet was trampled down. Then a white horse in full battle gear ran right at her and she had to step out of the way, he was either bleeding or had someone else’s blood all over him. ‘Where am I?’ She thought to herself. Then she heard voices.
“Alpha Captain, I believe we captured the leader.” Adella followed the voice out of the fog. There stood Baron with his hands tied behind him, defiance in his eyes. Adella couldn’t breathe as she watched the scene.
This Alpha was tall, very tall with short black hair. His skin was pale but his hands were strong and he was well toned but not huge. His sharp brown eyes looked Baron up and down as Baron struggled to release himself. “There can be only one Alpha.” With that Alpha Captain drew a sword and cut off Baron’s head.
Adella woke up screaming and screaming. Marcus was startled awake and Baron quickly tried to calm her down. The pain of seeing that was so intense Adella could not see, she could not speak she buried her face into Baron and pulled him close “He…. killed….. you.” She said between ragged breaths.
“What? Who?” Baron knew she could dream of things. Marcus screamed in the background and Adella got up to get him.
Adella sat down in the rocking chair with Marcus who was still crying. “I heard the name Alpha Captain and he said there could be only one Alpha and then….and then.” She squeezed Marcus close to her bosom sobbing at the thought.
Baron got out of bed and walked over to her kneeling in front of her “I refuse to let that happen My Love.” He tried to reassure her. He pulled her into his arms and they clung to each other with their child between them on the floor. The fire dancing just behind them. At that moment something stirred deep inside Adella and she knew she would have to do it somehow.
“Love, I need to talk with Sortas.” Adella looked at him trying not to show the fear she still had from him.
“No.” Baron said. “We made a pack and that is how it stays.”
“Love” Adella said with more confidence “He is the key I think.”
Baron was quiet for a moment and then helped them up off the floor. She could tell he was torn, his jaw was tight as he thought about it. “He won’t hurt me again.” Her voice interrupted his thoughts. Marcus had gone back to sleep in her arms and she turned to put him back in his crib.
“I want someone here with us.” Baron thought that would help.
“You are here, Love. You can control him now.” Adella felt certain.
Baron stood looking at the hearth, his sleeping pants hanging from his narrow waist, his large shoulders seemed tense to her. She could almost make out every muscle in his back. He was lost in his thoughts. ‘She wants to talk with you.’ He said to Sortas.
‘I will control myself.’ Sortas was more than excited to talk with her.
Baron gave him a grunt and begrudgingly let him have control.
Sortas turned with his black eyes and looked at Adella. To her they didn’t seem so black, more like very dark brown. Maybe she was just used to seeing that color now after getting to know Delta and Pax. He could smell the fear on her breath and his heart broke knowing that it was because of him she was fearful. He didn’t move toward her, he didn’t say anything. He wanted to grovel on the floor, get down on his knees and beg forgiveness. Somehow he knew that now was not the time, so he waited for her to make the first move.
