Mary-Kate’s POV
“Thank you for dropping me off Mike.”
“No worries Miss Anderson. Please feel better soon.” Mike says as he closes the car door behind me.
I walk up to the front door and enter my house after unlocking it with my house key. I close the door right behind me once I am inside. Every part of my body is aching. I have never experienced a cold this awful, it’s bad enough my head hurts, my nose is blocked, I have a fever and now my body feels like I got hit but a bus or something.
I drop my bag in the sofa then head into the kitchen. I need a hot cup of coffee to take with the peanut butter sandwich dad made me for breakfast before I left for school. I just hope the medicine the nurse gave me helps me feel better soon.
