The hours having passed in a blur, the day wrapped up before anyone realized.

' Ummmm Ebony, would you like to go out for dinner so we could get to know each other better.' the worry of refute seeping into Sora's voice evident.

' I would love to.' with a grin so wide Ebony responds all the while the interaction is witnessed.

Aeyr's p.o.v

' Zephyrus, did you ever think that ebony could have survived this long, the only way I could think of is if she ended up with more dragon traits than I suspected that she did.' Aeyr questions Zephyrus and himself simultaneously.

' Honestly I didn't, but I do wonder what colour her dragon is, if she gained a gold one like us then it is totally possible for her to live this long, as we both know royal dragons live for an extraordinary about of time.' pride brimmed Zephyrus' words he was totally ecstatic that one of his hatchlings has survived.

'Aeyr, I would like to invite you to stay in the pack house on my pack lands during the whole project, I have arranged for 2 spare rooms to be set up for you and Ebony, I hope you'd be able to rekindle with your daughter aswell as for me to get to know you better.'

having been roused from his thoughts

' I appreciate that, I would also like to apologize for my attitude when I came in this morning, you see today is Ebony's birthday and every year I tend to get a bit testy, and because of that I woke up late this morning and I absolutely hate being late, I know it's no excuse but I am truly sorry.'

Sora's pov.

Several hours have passed, Sora and Ebony were at the restaurant awaiting a server to attend to them.

With a sickly sweet smile and a seductive voice the waitress takes the order.

' So what can I get for you handsome, if you'd like I can tell you the special......' whilst whispering into Sora's ear ' or I can just show you if you'd like.'

Outrage seeped its way in Ebony's face and with that responds

' My husband and I will both have the steak with confit tomatoes and watercress salad, both medium rare with coffee to drink, and should you act like this again I will be putting in a complaint to your manager, do you understand.'

The overwhelming power that radiated from Ebony had the waitress' parlour turn to ash while all the other wolves in the restaurant turned to the commotion with awe especially when they realised that It came from the woman with their alpha.

Just then the owner of the establishment came out to ease the situation. After removing the waitress he came back.

' Alpha, I truly apologize for the behaviour of my staff, please forgive her ignorance she is only human, and may I ask Alpha why it was you let your aura out. I apologize for my rudeness.'

'Ahhh Felix, how have you been, and in answer to your question I was not the one to release that aura, that would be this beautiful lady beside me, Felix this is Ebony, my fated mate, and your future Luna.'

With wide eyes and a bright smile Felix recovers enough

' My Luna, It is an absolute pleasure to finally meet you. If you need any information on anything please feel free to contact me, I am at you beck and call. Now I will leave you both to enjoy your meal.'

' That's very kind of you Felix, thank you. I will talk more in depth on information once we are back at pack grounds I'm heading there tomorrow so if you have time over this coming weekend I would really appreciate all the help. Now with that lets all enjoy our night.'

The magnanimous nature of ebony had Gin and myself falling head over heels for her all over again, Then again who better to be a Luna than a princess, with that in mind I plan to make Felix Ebony's personal information broker, if there is anything Felix and his clan are exceptional at, it's gathering information. Who better than those who can hide in the shadows.

As the night was drawing to a close I received a link from Felix.

Alpha pardon the intrusive nature of this but I have urgent news ...... the she-wolf Malia who was put into the cells this morning for intruding into your apartment is elder Tobias's grand-daugter. He is pushing to have her released in the morning and forcing you to have her as your chosen mate and Luna. Hold on a moment please alpha........another message has come in they are planning on completing the marking ceremony tomorrow as soon as she is out.

a long silence follows as I quickly ponder what to do.

Thanks Felix, I will talk to your Luna tonight and as soon as we work something out I'll get a hold of you as well as the beta and gamma, you have my gratitude.

"Is everything ok Sora. " concern permeating her voice and face.

"Ahh yeah I just had a message from Felix and one of the prisoners and things are gonna be awkward to say the least,....."

as i watch ebony all she does is lift her right eyebrow as to say continue

" Well to start off with the she-wolf in question snuck into my apartment this morning while I was in the shower with the intention of seduction, but before she could get to far in I had max my beta take her to the cells. It turns out her grandfather is one of the elder council, his name is Tobias."

A huge mischievous grin spread across Ebony's face I was dumbstruck

" As in the last council member to be inturned about 200 years ago...... oh and I know because whenever a new council member attends I am present because this entire state is my territory, it was part of the deal..... I know what we should do...."
