CHAPTER NINE
DEALING WITH THE PAIN
It looked a bit like rain as Dan and Zeke got home and while Zeke went about his business of patrolling the perimeter of the yard Dan grabbed his phone and dialed REB’s cell phone number. “Stupid f**k!” He spat the words out loud, giving himself a hard slap to his forehead for good measure when he realized his mistake! “How f*****g stupid can you be?” He loudly, admonished himself further.
He was about to hang up when he heard a startled woman’s voice on the other end of the line! “Pardon me?”
“Oh s**t, Linda! I’m so sorry! I dialed REB’s number by force of habit! I didn’t expect anyone to answer it.” he stammered!
