Chapter 57: The place where it all begins

The day has come.
A group of knights, wizards, and adventurers is waiting for the arrival of the dragon that will attack the kingdom.
Gila and the dragoon squad came with their dragons.
Yusael’s kingdom knights came with the integrity knights including Kuro and Yuna.
“The dragon appeared. The destruction dragon Dracul is coming!”
Said the knight with a telescope.
I was in the front lines with Scarlet and Yusael and as I look above the far horizon of the sea.
We saw four giant black wings with white highlights and gleaming red eyes. The magical power from its presence was so powerful can make the tide higher.
Yusael the turn her glance to me and asked:
“Are you ready?”
“Yes.”
I nodded and grip my flaming sword.
I made my sword transform into the Flaming sword of Igneel. My sword became dragon wing-like and powerful flames came to envelop it.
From afar, the dragon blasted multiple powerful beams with different elemental attributes.
“Self-offering love.”
Yusael activated her ability to make a barrier and protect all of the people in the bay.
Because of the dragon’s attack, most parts of the bay were destroyed and sink.
Integrity knights lead by Kuro then attack the dragon with their magic. They all attack with their magic but all their attack was useless and didn’t even make a scratch to the dragon. The dragon was immune to magic and just absorbed it.
I wanted to attack but the distance to far for my flame to reach it.
“Ultimate Holy sword magic: Giant destruction swords!”
Yuna cast her ultimate magic and call upon thousand of swords and then use them to attack the dragon.
The dragon was physically damaged by the swords and its flying altitude started to decrease.
Kuro draws his sword and with his full power he cut down the air.
“Ultimate spacial magic: Dimension cutter!”
The s***h was then stopped by the dragon’s hand and then its eye’s started to glow in red color. The dragon was raging and it made a powerful roar.
‘It’s our turn this time.”
Scarlet said.
Sally get her flute and started playing. The sweet sound from her flute was able to give all of the adventurers boost in magically and enhance their bodies.
Emilia and Yukihime stand by each other and cast their powerful Ice magic.
“Ultimate Ice magic: Grand Glacial!”
Beneath the dragon, a sharp Ice was formed and then pierce the dragon's body.
The dragon was then ice stone after the attack.
All of the adventurers then make a second wave of magic attack on the dragon. That dragon started thrashing and use recovery magic to heal itself.
Yusael steps forward.
“Ultimate holy light magic: Light sword of judgment!”
A giant sword of light was then appeared from the sky and pierced the dragon.
The dragon was then heavily damaged and was not able to use its magic. I then take the opportunity and ride the Gila with her dragon.
I jump from the dragon and use my sword to pierce its head. Using my flames I then burn the dragon's head.
“Flaming sword!”
Flames go brightly and the flames started to crawl to the dragon's body. The dragon tries to dive into the sea but the flames are still not dying.
The dragon can’t do anything from my flames and then it lost its life.
“The destruction dragon Dracul was defeated!”
Announced by Yusael.
All of the adventurers were happy after the announcement and started hugging each other.
“Looks like there is no need for the assistance of Dragoon squad.”
Said Gila to me who is riding behind her dragon's back.
“Don’t say that, I’m at ease because all of you are there to support me. If you’re not here I can’t come closer to the dragon.”
We then landed in the bay area.
“Great job Ren… You’re ability sure is helpful, it’s great that you’re an ally.”
Scarlet said and pat my back.
Kuro and Yuna smiled at me.
“Great job all of the group of knights, wizards, and adventurers are waiting for the arrival of the dragon and join this raid. To celebrate our victory all of you are invited to the party in the kingdom on the next day.”
Yusael said, hearing that everyone started to become cheerful and excited.
I guess I will come to the party with Hikari.
We all then pack ourselves and leave the bay.
“Are you going home, Ren? You can ride my dragon if you wanted.”
Gila offered me a ride back in Celest city, but I turn my head and refuse.
“Sorry, I have to visit something. I heard that Stella town is nearby. I wanted to visit it first before going home.”
I replied.
“I see, then let’s meet up at the party the next day.”
Gila and her dragon flew up in the sky.
As I look around I can’t see anyone. Looks like I’m the only one left in this bay.
I then walked to the trail toward Stella city. While walking I started to remember the first day I came to this town.
Remembering, it was spring at that time. I was on the hunt for the evil mayor, but while walking in the streets I saw a girl fall from the sky. To be exact she jumps from the flyover bridge.
Hanayuki it’s been so long since I see her.
“I want to see her.”
I muttered.
Here in Stella city, I met a weird girl with a powerful sense of justice. She told me that revenge is useless and violence is not the answer to violence.
I saw the giant boulder of rock that surround the city. They said that a goddess constructed this boulder to protect the people of Stella. Amazingly, It’s still in this place after many years.
I enter the town and go straight to the adventurers guild.
I took a glance at the bulletin board and the bar inside the guild.
It’s the bulletin board where Hanayuki put that poster. At this table, Hanayuki was eating her favorite fried chicken meal.
I then go to the park to rest from my long walk. With a can of soda in my hand, I take a sip and look toward the clear blue sky.
“Where is that light brown hair idiot.”
Ever since our last meeting in Celest. I never got in touch with her anymore. I don’t know what happened o her or where she is anymore.
Like she suddenly disappeared like a bubble.
I then started walking again, in the city and wondering if I will ever meet her in coincidence.
Hanayuki…
Then while walking it brings me to the church where kids use to play with her.
The church was already abandoned but there was still a clue you can found that some kids play here earlier. The orphanage is currently located in the center part of the city.
I then lay down in the thick moss and close my eyes.
It’s been so long since I came to visit this town.
I heard foots steps behind me.
I open my eyes and turn my glance behind me.
I was stunned.
“A demon?”
A pitch-black demon appeared beside me.
