Chapter 38: Dusty book from the past

Lucas stated as he controls the dragon to fly to the top of the tower.

The tower only got 12 floors but the height of the tower is about 100 feet tall.

Lucas and Glenn think that this is the fastest way to meet Melida in her room.

Glenn opens his grimoire then a bottle of potion appeared.

"Drink this will help you regain your health and magic."

Glenn gives it to Yusael. Yusael takes a glance at Glenn's eyes and takes the bottle. Drinking it, she replenishes her lost magic and health.

"With the three of us fighting Melida. There's a chance that we're going to win. I believe that Princess Yusael is one of the god levels."

After hearing Lucas Yusael look toward William injured body and said:

"No, I might not able to fight her. I can't even defeat a beast on my own earlier. I was a failure and we might lose if we get there."

"I recorded everything because I'm a spy... Cheer up princess you're an ace to this battle. Melida might be on another level but she was exhausted right now. This is the perfect time to defeat her."

Yusael clutches her fist and her spirit started to rise.

The dragon then arrived at the rooftop of the steel tower and with a flaming breath. Lucas destroys the wall. The destruction wakes up the sleeping Melida on her throne.

Going down to the dragon. Yusael and the two red robes terrorist members challenge Melida.

William started to wake up and saw them on the final floor.

"Did I sleep too much?"

"Holy light healing!"

Yusael immediately cast magic to heal William and join the fight.

The destroyed wall regenerated and the room goes back to normal.

Melida silently stan up from her thrown. Wearing a jet black dress and a sword suddenly appeared in her hand.

Still in silent self. Melida started attacking the four.

"What the hell is with that speed? I can't call it to speed at all."

"It's like she melted through space."

"This is beyond speed.."

"Yusael dodge!"

Opening the grimoire of Glenn. Glenn swapped the throne and Yusael. Melida was targeting Yusael's head. Thank Glenn. yusael was saved again.

"Angelus!"

A warrior-like angel appeared from the back of William. It's magic he never uses to Glator because this magic has once a day usage. Like Yusael's Dimension room.

The warrior-like angel with its sword swings its sword and hits Melida. Melida used her sword to block it and she got smashed to the wall.

"Dragon Magic: Dragon inferno breath!"

Following the flame from Lucas dragon. Melida is cornered, she started sucking the flame with another sword in her hand.

"Where did that sword came from? It sucks magic?"

Asked William.

Yusael put her palm in front of her and focus light magic on it.

"Light holy magic: Light burst stream!"

A  thick laser beam-like power emerges from her palm. Pushing Melida away from the group.

The theory that Melida went weaker is true.

Yusael then followed it with three powerful holy light magic. With a snap of her hand, giant light balls appeared and targeted Melida. Next are a hundred light spears of judgment.

Destroying the top floor even more making an open space.

"The tower already stores enough magic it can't store anymore."

"Pray for your sins... Holy light ultimate magic: Purge ray!"

Light from the sky directly hit Melida.

Melida directly smashed down to the bottom ground of the island. making a huge hole in the entire Island. Yusael just used one of her ultimate.

Smashed down to the bottom. An unknown cave is discovered. Melida didn't know anything about this and with the cave. She saw someone walking toward her.

Smiling and look messed up Hanayuki offers her hand to Melida.

The moment Melida reached Hanayuki's hand.

The sudden flow of memories came to her mind. With immense pain, she nearly has a nervous breakdown. She then started to breathe heavily and said:

"Memories started to flood my mind... Kanna?"

After hitting her head so hard. 

Melida remembers some of her past.
