“What’s wrong Ren? Your being too silent worries me.”
Hikari asked as she looks at my expressionless face.
I just look back at her eyes and then turn my glance to the window.
“How many days it is?”
“It’s been a week… Ever since that night, you became so silent. I know you’re a half-vampire and nearly don’t need the nutrition of food, but still, you need to get up.”
I don’t even felt how the passing of time.
I killed Glenn with my sword and burn him into ashes.
What if there is a way to save him? This world is full of people with amazing abilities and magic. I’m sure there is a way.
But this feeling of killing a man who became close to me.
It totally leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Hikari prepared a meal for me and leave it on the table.
“Eat your lunch okay… I have to go back to work.”
She said and then kiss me on my cheeks.
“... Everything will be okay.”
I really hope that everything will be okay.
Hours have passed and I got bored sitting in the same corner of the whole for the whole week. I then wash my face and prepared to go out.
The city of Celest is really becoming a peaceful city, Kids playing in the street laughing and adults busy in their works. Looking up in the sky I can tell that the weather is really nice.
While walking a vendor caught my attention.
“Mister give me three sticks of those.”
“You mean sweet Dango.”
I nodded.
The vendor gives me the Dango and then I pay for it. I continue walking and sit down in the fountain.
I then look at the statue on the fountain.
“Is this fountain here all this time? I didn’t notice it.”
I take a bite of the dang and appreciate how wonderful it tastes. I take another bit and quickly finish one entire stick.
How can you be so happy? You killed many people Ren.
A suddenly heard a weird voice in m head and then in my vision dead people crawling in my feet. It’s the people I killed before and then Glenn.
How can you enjoy living?
I suddenly got sick and throw up the Dango I just ate.
Such waste, I really like that Dango.
Shadow then loom over me and then as I turn my glance I saw the princess standing in front of me.
“Yusael?”
“You really never pay respect to me. The king of this country. But I don’t dislike it. What’s with that grim expression. You seem really depressed.”
“Well, I happened to meet Glenn in Stella city.”
“Did you capture him?”
“No, I kill him.”
“You kill him… I see, he really became an insane demon. You just kill evil people that’s why I know that you did it for good.”
“Glenn really liked you… How can you talk like that after knowing that he's dead? He even did everything to protect you in your back. All he wanted is for you to be happy.”
“Well, I can’t say I dislike him, but I also don’t like him. In other words, Glenn is like a stranger to me. His death doesn’t matter. People die everyday it can’t be helped.”
Yusael is right people die every day. Glenn literally became a demon at that time. I have to kill him or else many people will die.
Yusael comes closer to me and I can see her face up close and scent her sweet smell. Her rosy cheeks and her silky smooth hair. She then her finger slides to her skin smooth and as she places her hair behind her ear.
She gets on of the sweet Dango and take a bite.
“It’s an order, as a king I wanted you to give me this.”
“What kind of joke is that? Did you plan to become king so that you can do anything?”
“Well, yup… It’s really nice and cozy. Can just lazy around and sleep. Plenty of sleep is really good for the skin.”
Yusael smiled.
Looks like Yusael is not very serious as always. I always think that she is living in a different world unlike mine because she is the princess. In a second thought, Yusael is like a normal girl without her fancy clothes and everything.
She can also smile like how Hanayuki smile.
Kind and innocent.
Yusael then pulls my hand and brings me to the shopping district.
“Is this really okay? You’re the princess everyone will see you.”
“Don’t worry about that let's go and have some fun.”
I started to see her good side her pure side. We play in the arcade, eat lunch together, and walked around the city together. I started to think that this is really a great day. The bad feeling earlier started to fade little by little.
While we’re walking in the street.
I started to think that this is a date.
Wait, if this is a date William and Hikari will be angry with me. This is not a date, right?
Yusael turns her head to me and notices how my face became red.
A giant mirror beside us was placed and there Yusael looks toward me closely. She then walked closer and closer and grab my arm. Pressing it to her body.
“We really look great as a couple.”
“C-Couple?! I love Hikari.”
“Pwehehehehehehe… Do you think I’m hitting you? You're so funny, Ren.”
I really feel embarrassed by her teasing.
“Then, where is your boyfriend?”
“Boyfriend?”
“I mean William the two of you are dating right? William is from a respectable noble family and you’re a princess. I think you and him look good together.”
“Dating? We’re not dating. I know William likes me, but I don’t like him back. I’m just playing with him. It’s convenient to have a protector in times of trouble after all. Also, if you're wondering I’m still a virgin.”
My face got redder after Yusael said those words.
“Why say that?! Have some dignity as a girl!”
“You are Hikari are not virgin anymore right? Why embarrassed?”
Well, Hikari and I never cross that line yet because I want to do it with a resolve to make babies. I don’t have the money yet and enough confidence to do it. What am I thinking? I’m so stupid.
“We’re still pure, we only kiss and hug each other.”

“I don’t want to hear to someone without a love life.”
“Then, if I invite you to my bed are you going to get my virginity?”
“Why would I do that? Were not a couple.”
Yusael then looks at me seriously.
“I have something to say to you can you visit me tonight. I’m staying in the Inn near the guild. It’s an order, go and see meet me… I’m waiting for you.”
After that, she walks away and all I saw is her shadow fading away in the street.
The night comes.
I’m still outside and didn’t come home yet. I know Hikari will be really angry with me. But I still came to the Inn to meet with Yusael.
Arriving in the Inn I some no one at all.
It’s so silent it’s scary.
But for some reason, my body is moving and I know where I’m going. I know where is her room.
I open the door and All I saw is a very beautiful angel. She’s wearing a white midnight dress. I can see her flawless attractive skin. Even I’m far away from here I can scent her smell.
Right now I’m captivated by her.
“What do you want to say?”
I asked.
“I want to destroy the world.”
Yusael said.
“That’s stupid, why anyone would like this world to be destroyed.”
“I want to destroy this world and start a new one, I have a dream of a peaceful world. A warm cozy place for people to live. I’ll give people free education and very one will be under my commands.”
“You can do that as a king right?”
“That’s not enough, there are people above us who can destroy this world with a press of a button. This world is not what it seems. This world is just a world created by the people in the real world. I want to make Hanayuki happy.”
Real-world? I can’t understand anything she’s saying. I’m confused and lost of thoughts.
“... I know you care for Hanayuki and wish her to be happy. I want you to make her happy and do your best for her. It’s my personal request for you Ren.”
Yusael said with tears in her eyes and followed with a smile.
After that, a blinding light appeared.
