“Why are you going to our old high school?” Melanie asked, surprise evident in her voice.
“You’ll see,” was Brad's cryptic response.
Melanie decided to patiently wait, they were almost there anyway.
Once they reached the deserted parking lot, Melanie was engulfed by nostalgia. She had so many memories here, good and bad. Her gaze lingered on the front lawn.
