Chapter One
Attica was a beautiful woman. She had long red hair but not the fiery type. It was the beautiful orange that glowed like a sunset. She had the most beautiful eyes the color of violet. She was tall around 6 foot and she was thin. She was not so thin that you could see he bones through her skin. But, she was beautiful. Everyone loved her and those that knew her wanted to be her. But, the problem was that she was the most nicest person you would ever meet. She was not like her father. Her father was mean and strict.
Her father she rarely saw due to her worked his life away. He owned his own company. He was a billionaire. He worked from sun up to sun down. She hated her father for being so strict. But, he treated her wrong too. He always wanted a son and when he got a daughter, he was displeased. He wanted a son to take over his business when he passed. He was old schooled and didn't believe a woman should be in charge of it. So he treated Attica badly. She always worked hard to try to prove herself to him but he never would give her the chance.
Attica was the CEO in his company. She worked from sun up to sun down just like her father trying to prove that one day she would be able to take over the company. She wanted her father to believe in her but he never did. No matter what she did, she was wrong for it. She was single. She never had time to date or go out. Her life consisted up work. Her mother was upset with that due to she wanted more for her daughter. She wanted her to have a life and family of her own.
Attica graduated with honors in her college and had gotten a business degree. Everyone at the company loved her. She was so sweet to them. She understood them working so hard. She always made sure to help them with anything that they needed. Her father never gave them any time. He sat in his office and worked. He never wanted to be bothered with anything. Attica was a people person and she made sure everyone got her time. She always made time for them each and every day.
She was so organized in her life that she had a daily routine that was from Monday thru Saturday. The only day she had to herself was Sundays. She liked to be in a routine. She made sure to keep it strict and organized. She would get up at 5am and go to the gym. She would get to her home by 6am where she would shower and get ready for work. She left at 630am to go to the Starbucks on the corner from her job. They all knew her by name and knew she would have the same order... a Venti Vanilla Bean Frappuccino. She was at work by 7am where she would then organize all the folders on her desk alphabetically and work on them until 8am. Then she would look at her calendar and work on it from there. She always left work by 7pm where she would stop to get dinner and then home and in bed by 9pm.
She worked so hard everyday to prove to her father that she was able to take over his company when he choose. She was determined to prove him wrong. On Sundays, this was her day to get up at 5am to go to the gym. She get back home by 6am where she would get all her clothes washed; she would then clean her place up and organize her clothes for the week of work. She would go out to lunch with her best friend, Jasper. She knew him since she was 8 years old. He was her best friend. She loved him with her whole heart and he was always there for her. They were high school sweethearts even though she never let it go anywhere. They went to collage together and graduated together. Jasper worked for her company as the Human Resources Manager. Her father respected him and so did she,
Jasper was a very attractive man. He had blonde hair and pretty blue eyes. They were the color of the sea. He was over 6 foot tall. He was fit due to he went to the same gym with Attica every morning and he always was there every morning at Starbucks with her. They both walked to work together. They never were far apart. They did almost everything together. They were friends till the end. The only thing was he had a deep secret that he held from her everyday. He would never let her know the secret. He enjoyed being her friend.
They always spent Sundays together with lunch and then they would go to a movie together and then dinner. That was their routine on Sundays. They spent it together. They never discussed work. They talked about life and everything together. Attica respected him so much that she was so loyal to him. She thought that if she would end up with someone in her life, it would be Jasper. Her father adored him and her mother loved him. He was family. He was apart of the family. But, they never would take it that far. At least, she would never but as to if he would... that was another story. That was something that they would never discuss.
Life was great and Attica loved her life. She never would ever want it to change. But, sometimes in life things change and you half to accept it. Attica never could accept change. It destroyed her but she always made it seem like it didn't. So what happens when everything is good in life and it starts to fall apart? Do you accept the change or do you fight to make it back to the same thing? I guess one thing is we will never find out until we continue to the next chapter, right?
