I am Daigo Aoi. After so many years. I finally decided to look for a job just because my parents wants me too. I literally stayed home for maybe about 5-6 years without doing anything. It's just that I don't have any motivation to do it. Probably because I don't know my purpose in life yet. I am currently at my job interview. Waiting for my turn. I know I should be presentable and respectful in front of all of them but I want to be true to myself so I literally answer every question very rudely and then left. Because if they can't accept who I really am then I don't want to work in their company. 3 days have passed since all the interview I attended. No one seems to like me. I guess it is understandable since I am so rude to them. But then... I got a call unexpectedly... Aoi: Hello!! Caller: Hello!! Is this Ms.Daigo Aoi? Aoi: Yes! Caller: I just want to tell you that you passed the interview at the Fujiwara Corp. They are expecting you in their company tomorrow at 8am. Aoi: Really?? Caller: Why are you so shocked Ms.Daigo? Aren't you supposed to be happy? Aoi: I just don't expect to passed since I am so rude to them. Caller: What do you mean? Aoi: I literally answered all the questions what I like to say and not what they like to say. So me passing is very unexpected to me. Caller: I guess you found the right company for you Ms.Daigo. Since they passed you even though you are not nice to them. Aoi: I guess so. Thanks for telling me though. I thought I'm not gonna get any call whatsoever. Caller: Good luck to you Ms.Daigo. I hope you all the best. Aoi: Thanks. Caller: No problem. I really can't believe I would be accepted to one. And it's literally in Fujiwara Corp. That is literally the company that I don't want to be in. It feels like a company for the wealthiest people in the planet. I am literally so poor that's why I needed this job. I am also very ugly that's why my parents wants me to find a job now so that they can completely abandon me or maybe they will treat me like a slave who works so that they could have the money they want just for themselves. Either way both scenario is definitely possible. At Dinner time. I told my parents that I might start my job tomorrow. They just doesn't care at all and it seems like they don't believe what I just said just because they both laugh at me. Aoi: Please stop laughing. I am serious. I only look for a job because the two of you told me I should since I'm already 26 now. Junko: (Aoi's Mother) There is no way you actually found a decent job. No one will hire you because of your looks. Koji: (Aoi's Father) hahaha... Maybe the company who hired her just don't have any other choice. Junko: hahaha... Don't make laugh so hard my dear. Because I think you might be right. Aoi: I can't believe the two of you. Am I adopted? How come I can't resonate to the humor of both of you because it's literally the worst. Koji: How can you say that to me and your Mom. We literally took care of you even though you look that ugly. Be thankful we became your parents and not anyone else. Because others will probably abandoned you after giving birth to you. Aoi: I would have prefer it if the two of you just abandoned me before. Because yeah you took care of me but my mental health is literally on the roof because of all the bad words you says to me everyday. Junko: Who cares about your mental health. What about our image. Do you even know how humiliated we are whenever people realized you are our kid. Both of us literally wants to leave you in the orphanage many times just because we are so tired of hearing people saying you are so ugly or sometimes people says that me and your father is also ugly we just change our faces using plastic surgery. Aoi: You can literally tell them i am not your kid. I would have prefer that. It's not gonna hurt my feelings at all because the bad words the two of always tells me is so much f*****g worst than that. Koji: If that's what you want then will do just that. We don't care who you are anymore. Aoi: Finally!! I have my freedom. Junko: What do you mean by Freedom? Your life is definitely gonna be much more worst because you need to give all the money you get from your job. Aoi: I freaking knew it. The two of you is literally the worst parents ever. Junko: And your the worst and ugliest girl ever. No one will fell in love with you because of your looks Koji: The guys will probably only date her when she have money. How funny!! Hahahaha.. Junko: Or she can just buy them. Koji: hahaha.... After that I literally just walk out and don't eat the rest of my food. I can't believe they are my parents. I don't want to be here anymore. Because of how depressed I was after our conversation. I did something I might regret for the rest of my life but I hope not. My parents is already sleeping when I decided to go to their room to get some cash. I knows we're they put the money because sometimes my Mom will let me take a little bit money from it when she's in a good mood but my Dad doesn't know I know. I slowly walk inside there room trying to not make any noise to not wake them up. I decided to get 30000 yen and left their room as soon as possible. I decided to leave my parents for good and go live on my own near the company I am going to work to. We live in Sapporo, Japan. The Snowiest Island of Japan. I am so gonna miss my hometown but not my parents. They can both Roth in Hell. I'm just really glad I'm the type of person who loves being alone. I can definitely live on my own. I hate Ghost though. They can be everywhere. Joke! I literally can't see them. I can feel them sometimes though. The train ticket price from Sapporo to Tokyo is 27,795 Yen. That's why I get 30,000 yen so that I can use the rest of it to buy some food for me. But I know it's not enough even for a week. It might not even last for a day. So I need to strategies something to get some more money somewhere. After packing all my things. I carefully take my 2 luggages outside our house. After that I get some snacks in our fridge so I can eat it on the way. I literally walk as fast as a I can so no one can see me. Specially someone who knows me because that would be really bad. It was already 10pm so not many people is outside anymore. My train will arrived at 10:30pm. And a guy next to me keeps looking at me for some reason. Aoi: Sir! Do you need something? Unknown Man: I just can't believe how ugly you are. Aoi: Wow Sir! How rude of you. Unknown Man: I'm not rude because that's just the truth. Aoi: If you say so Sir! Please stop looking at me though. Unknown Man: I'm not looking at you at all. I'm waiting for the train to arrive. Aoi: There's still more minutes before it arrive Sir! You don't need to wait like that. Unknown Man: Stop talking to me. I always do it this way. Your the only anomaly here. Aoi: I'm definitely the anomaly but, don't worry Sir! Because this will be the last time that you can see me. Unknown Man: Why? Are you going to kill yourself? Aoi: Why did you think that? Sir! Unknown Man: Because you can't accept how ugly you are. Aoi: Yeah I do think of killing myself many times Sir! But I will never do it. I actually love my life even if many people hated me. Even my parents hates me that's why I am planning of leaving them without saying anything. Unknown Man: Well then Good luck! Be happy in your new life. Aoi: oh... Sir! Your actually a nice person. Thanks. Unknown Man: I used to be like you before. I also left my home and live alone here in Sapporo but that's because my father keeps beating me. I couldn't take it anymore so I left without anything in me and just do everything in my own. Until I finally have my own home and Family. Aoi: Wow! That is awesome Sir! Can you tell me your name? Unknown Man: My name is Fujiwara Makoto. Nice to meet you! Aoi: Nice to meet you Sir! Fujiwara. I'm Daigo Aoi! You can call me Aoi if you like. Fujiwara: Nice to meet you too Aoi! Fujiwara-san and I talk about many things about his life before the train arrived. I will never forget about him. His already in his 60s but he still looks like his in his 40s. That's how healthy he looks. He told me I can stay to his house in case I decide to visit Sapporo again since I don't really want to see my parents again. It seems like Fujiwara-san is actually not gonna go anywhere. He just think I need someone to talk to that's why he approached me. He said his actually one of the conductor of the train but his on his day off today. He said he just loves talking to strangers. That is the biggest reason why he survived in his own. After saying goodbye to Fujiwara-san. I sit in my assigned number sit inside the train and the train leaves after that. Goodbye for now Sapporo. I will miss you greatly!! While at the train. I fell asleep because of how tired I was. I fell asleep for maybe 5 hours. It's not the best sleep but at least I still fell asleep Because I really needed that sleep. So that I can be ready later today. Then I finally arrived to Tokyo. After 3 more hours. I was in the train for the total of 8 hours. Just because I'm not using the Shinkansen. Because it was very expensive. Now that I'm finally here in Tokyo. I am finally free from my parents. I can now do anything I want. But first I need to stay in the Manga Cafe. Because it's the most affordable thing right now. I can also take a shower there. It is now 5:33am. I read some Manga while waiting for the time because, I need to arrive at Fujiwara Corp at exactly 8:am today. I decided not to sleep because there is only 1 and half hour left and I don't want to overslept. I think my parents probably already knows that I am missing. Since they both woke up very early everyday. At exactly 5:am. I already change my sim card and block them to all my social media so, there is no way they will know where I am. I'm just really glad I didn't tell them the location of my new job. Because they will probably know where I am right now if I did tell them. After 1 hour of reading some Manga. I took a shower and wear the most decent business clothe I have. I am now ready for my new job. I then, ride the train until I arrived at my destination. It's still 7:45am. I still have some leisure time before anything else happens. * At the Fujiwara Corp * * Girl 1: Excuse me Miss! Are you the Janitor? Aoi: What the heck? I am not a freaking janitor. Girl 2: Hahaha... You look like one though. Girl 1: She definitely is. Hahaha... This Girls keeps laughing at me just because they thought I was the janitor. It seems like they also passed the interview. Girl 1: It seems like they will only pick 5 people and there is literally 25 of us. I hope I can make it. Girl 2: Me too. Boy 1: They will definitely pick me. Boy 2: No it's definitely me. It's finally 8:00am. It is now time for all of us to go inside the huge building. Boy 1: Wait! The ugly girl is actually one of us. There is no way she will passed. Hahaha.... Boy 2: Your right... Hahaha.... Boy 3: I was with her when she is getting interviewed. I think she's actually going to make it. Because of how rude all her answers is and she still passed Boy 2: What the heck? There is no way your actually saying that. Boy 1: Maybe he likes her. Hahaha... Boy 2: hahaha....Maybe... Wow! A good person finally saved the day for me. Because they stop laughing at me after what the guy just said. Then, the worst part finally started. The announcement of who really do passed. I waited till my name was mentioned. They already pick 5 people before they talk to me. I'm just glad that one of the guy is the guy who defended me earlier. I am so happy for him. Meanwhile all the boys and girls who bullies me didn't make it. Shame on them. Hahaha ... I am now alone inside an office. I don't know why they didn't just tell me I can go. Since they already found what they wanted. After 5 minutes. Someone came inside the office I'm in. Office Staff: Sorry to keeping you waiting Ms.Aoi! Aoi: It's totally fine by me since, I don't really do anything at home. By the way, I thought you guys only needs 5 people. I can literally just go home right now since I already know I am not chosen. Office Staff: Don't worry about it Ms.Aoi! Your an exception and I'm the only reasons why you might get the job that you want the most. Aoi: Really? Now I'm kinda excited by it. Office Staff: You should be. ? Then someone else arrives. Office Staff: Sir Fujiwara! She is the person I'm talking about the other day. The unique one. Fujiwara: (The CEO) I hope your not wasting my time. Let me meet her. After this. Everything kinda escalates. It seems like I already met the CEO before. His one of my college school mate. His name is Fujiwara Daiji. He's always my seatmate whenever we have a major test. Fujiwara: What the heck? Why did you passed her? Office Staff: I thought I can passed anyone I like Sir? Fujiwara: Yes you can but not her. We don't need her in our company. Wow! I can't believe Fujiwara can act like that. I thought he is a more calmer type of person. Office Staff: But Sir! She's literally the best in all of them. I believe our company needs her the most right now. Since our sales is going down right now. Fujiwara: I'm so sorry but I really can't. Office Staff: Can we talk about this more Sir! Please just give her a chance. Fujiwara: I will only allow her to work here if she accepted a janitor job instead of office work. Office Staff: ... Aoi: I can't believe you Daiji! Fujiwara: Stop calling me like that. We're not friends anymore. Aoi: I will call you in any name I want just because your acting so high and mighty right now just because your the CEO of a company now. Office Staff: Wait! So the two of you actually knows each other? Aoi: Yes! We are classmates in college. Major in programming. Fujiwara: Stop telling my company's staff anything about me Aoi! or I will call the security. Aoi: Chill Daiji! There is no way I would want a job in a company with a coward CEO like you. SHAME ON YOU! DAIJI!! You disappointed me really greatly. ? Office Staff: Wait! Ms.Aoi!.... I literally walk away from both of them after that. I can't believe Daiji can act like that. I always thought he's a very kind person. Just because we can talk almost regularly to each other back then. I guess I am so wrong about my assumption about him. Since I can't get a job I really wants for myself. I am now so depressed because I don't know what to do in my life anymore. I am always like this. Always losing my confidence after just one bad experience in life. I am really not build for this World. Tssk... I found a restaurant that has chairs outside so I decided to sit in it.. Since I lost my energy after getting rejected in life again. And then... Waiter: Aoi! Is that you? Aoi: Yes!! Wait! Junya?? Junya: Yes! It's me. I can't believe we met each other again. Aoi: I can't believe you still remembered me. Junya: I never really forget about you. Aoi: What?? Junya: I mean, I didn't forget about you because your literally the most odd person I ever met. Aoi: You can just say because I'm ugly. I would have prepared it that way. Junya: Who the heck told you your ugly? Aoi: Everybody else. Specially my parents. Junya: Did something happen? Aoi: Well my parents always keep telling the I am ugly and the most useless daughter ever. So I run away just today. I decided to come here because I thought I can get the job I want but the CEO of the company is so rude that I don't have a choice but to reject his offer to me. Junya: What offer? Aoi: He told me he will only let me work in his company as a Janitor. Junya: What the heck? That is the rudest thing I have ever heard. Aoi: It doesn't matter anymore. There is no way I would ever go back there. Junya: Wait! Maybe I can help you about a job. Aoi: Really? Junya: One of my classmate in High School is also the CEO of one of the company right now. His Company is very close here. I can recommend you to him. Aoi: Are you sure his not gonna be mad? I mean you know that I'm not a smart person. Junya: No one cares about that in my friends Company. He really wants to help everybody. Aoi: Then I guess you can introduce me to him. Junya: As soon as I finished my shift. Will go there. Aoi: Sure! Junya: Btw, I feel like you are thinking about something more deeper though. I can kinda feel your frustrations. Aoi: Well I am so worried about my sister. She still doesn't know what I did or maybe she already did and also very angry at me right now. She's staying with her boyfriend when I left so she might not know yet. Junya: Don't worry. I'm sure your sister will understand your decision if ever she knows you run away. Aoi: I hope so too. ? Junya: Ok! I need to continue my Job now. Do you want something? Aoi: I don't have enough money for it. Junya: I can pay it for you. Don't worry about paying back the money. I just really want to help you right now. Aoi: Really? Junya: Yeah!! Aoi: Can I have a Lasagna and Mango Shake then. Junya: Is that it? Aoi: Yeah!! Junya: Don't you need more? Aoi: No! That's enough for me. Junya: OK then! I really can't believe I met another former classmate of mine. This coincidences is getting really scary. I love it though. I am now eating lasagna and drinking Mango Shake. It's the greatest thing ever. Junya literally help me a lot today. I hope my day will keeps getting better. Junya's POV Manager: Junya! Who's the girl your talking to earlier? You literally talks to her for a little longer than the other costumers. Junya: She's one of my classmate in high school Sir! It seems like she runs away from her home because of her cruel parents. She does not have money right now so I pay her food for her. It seems like the CEO of some company she was supposed to work said many hurtful things to her today so she turned down the job offer. Manager: What job offer? Junya: A janitor. Manager: What the f**k that's just too messed up. Junya: It is. I felt really bad for her. She does not deserve that kind of treatment. Manager: Wait!! Why does it sounds like you like her.. Junya: ... Manager: Omg! You did like her. Junya: That is back then Sir! Now I just want to be a good friend to her. Manager: A good friend so that you can be her boyfriend later. Junya: I don't think I'm her type though and Sir! Have you forgotten that I already have a girlfriend? Manager: Oh shoot! Sorry about that. Junya: Sir! Can I stop my job early today? I just really want to accompany her now. I think she really needs someone right now. Manager: Go!! Help her whatever way you can. Junya: Thank you Sir! I promise I will help for the whole day next time. Manager: You don't have to. Just go! She's waiting for you. Junya: Your the best boss ever SIR!! Manager: SHUT UP!! Junya: Hahaha.... I quickly changed my clothes and told Aoi that we can meet my friend now. We walk for about 5 minutes until we arrived at Makino Management. To be continued....
