Chapter 5

Nicole's POV

I went back to his room and saw him sitting leisurely, "Hey, so how is your meeting?"

"Good." He answered back while he motions for me to go to him, so I walked towards him and when I am near him, he pulls me into his laps and rest his chin on my shoulder. I can feel his breath at my neck.

"You are like a baby, Ace." He chuckled and I felt so weird because when he did that, he makes my body tingling. It is only been two days, but we are like this. It is just too soon for me and to be honest, I am terrified.

"Hey, I am hungry. Can we have our lunch now?" I pouted making him nodded. I stood up from his lap and he follow soon, but he keeps his arm wrap tightly around my waist and we make our way to elevator. s**t! "We invite Alex and we didn't ask him."

Ace shook his head slowly, "I will call him." We reach lobby and soon people are looking at us and talking. They don't have anything better to do than talking about us?

Ace was using his phone, so he doesn't notice. Even if he noticed, I am sure he doesn't care, I mean he probably had done this multiple time.

"So, what do you want to eat?" His question snapped me out from my thoughts.

"Anything Italian?"

He nodded, "Okay." We were waiting for his valet to get his car, so I rest my head on his arms.

"You're bored?" He asked me, I looked up to him and nodded slowly.

He smiles at me, probably feeling sorry, I mean he don’t have to since I am the one who wants to follow him, "After my last meeting, we will go home."

I might look like I don't care what happen around me but when people are looking at you and talk about you, you become so curious of what they were talking.

I notice car is park in front of us, he waited for the valet to step out from the car before he opens my door and close it, then he moved to his side.

He looks at me and the road back and forth, "What are you thinking about?" I look at him and sighed. "Your worker is talking about me and I don't know this is good thing or not."

"Don't worry. They can't do anything." He reached for my hand and squeeze it. To give me some strength. I didn’t bother to say anything because at the end I know it will frustrate me more, so I guess the best way is to just ignore them.

After 15 minutes, we reach the restaurant called Italiano. What a weird yet honest name.

We went into and get our best seats near the beautiful view where we can see a small garden right next to the restaurant. Ace didn't say anything, but I think he is regular here because they seem to pay attention on our table.

We placed our order and waiting for Alex. Right after we finish placing the order, I saw Alex make his way to our table.

"How dare you lovebird leave me?" He said as he took a sit in front of Ace. I chuckled at his response.

"You are too old for that pouting, Alex." I said trying to tease him, he looks at me disbelieve and pouted more.

"So, what were both of you talking about?" Ace asked both of us. We laugh and shook our head.

"Just a little bit of your secrets." Alex told him.

Ace look at him with his wide eyes, "Dude, when you said that, it means everything that you knew." Alex nodded. Ace groaned.

"So, never knew you have a teddy Mr Sexiest Man Alive." I teased him.

He groaned at my question and look away. I can see that his ears become red and he glance at Alex again but I also a glimpse of worried look on his face.

"Uh-oh. Dangerous bomb is coming." I look between them back and forth. I notice this red head woman is coming to our table making me raised my eyebrow. She reached and pulled Ace towards her so that she can hug him. What the hell? Why everywhere we went to, there's always a woman.

Alex look at me and give me his assuring smile. "Baby, I missed you." The way her voice screech wants to make me puke. Ambulance sounds better than her.

"Hey Alex, I didn't notice you." I saw Alex give her his fake smile. Ace sit down and soon you know what happen? She sits on his laps. Excuse me! That is my place. You invade it.

She looks back at Ace and kiss his cheek. This girl makes me pissed off. "I miss you, why you didn’t call me? Imagine how much happiness and pleasure I can give you."

Alex look at me and chuckled. "Your face is red." He mouthed to me slowly. Of course! She's seducing Ace.

The waitress came to our table and served our food while Ace is trying to push the red head girl slightly.

"I can feed you." I heard her say and I snorted instantly. He can eat by himself. I really want to dump my food on her, but I strained myself.

"Please Lia, I want to eat." Ace told her sternly.

She pouted slightly. "You hurt my feeling."

"Excuse me! My fiancé needs to eat and you sitting on his laps seducing him will make him sick. So please, go away." I cut off. Alex look at me and muffled his laugh.

"What the hell are you talking about?" She looks between me and Ace.

"What a pity to be honest. Beautiful face but with no brain. Too slow." I shook my head. At this comment, Alex blurt out his laughing.

"Baby, please tell me it is not true." Ace shook his head. "It is true."

"I know you are lying." She screeched her voice again. Oh my god, this is harder than it looks.

"I am sitting beside him, of course I am his fiancé. Please don't screech your voice, you sound like an elephant when banana stuck on its throat."

She glares at me. I'm not scared. "I don't care, I know he will run back to me after he's done with you."

I laughed sarcastically. "Pity to break this to you but you can dream on." I eat my spaghetti at ease.

"You know what? I hate you. And you Benz, I will tell your mother."

"Lia, stop this okay?" Ace is rubbing his temple while I just saw that Alex keep nodding from just now. He doesn't help at all. This douche.

"I hate you too. You going to tell his mother? Come on. You can do better than that but bring it on." She glares at me and finally she stormed off.

"Wow, finally. Let's eat. I am hungry." I can feel two pair of eyes is looking at me. I looked up and bingo.

"How can you be so calm?" Alex asked me.

I raised my eyebrow, "Should I cry then?" He laugh at me.

"You should be careful. Lia and Benz's mother can be so evil."

I rolled my eyes. "I can handle it." Ace look at me, his face showed me his concern.

"I am okay. I have met people worse than this and let’s eat please. I am hungry."

Both of them sighed and they started to dig in their food. When we were eating, we hear a loud voice outside.

"What the hell now?" I asked them, ready to snapped in second.

"The paparazzi." I sighed when Alex told me this.

"Hello enemy. Nice to meet you." I mumbled. Alex and Ace laugh at me.

"It is okay, I'll call my bodyguard now."

I look at him and blink my eyes a few times. "You are big yourself and you need a bodyguard?"

"They can be aggressive." He answered back. Then I laughed loudly, I am almost choke on my food, "What now, Nic?"

"I think they need to protect you too, Mr Teddy." Alex then followed me to laugh at Ace.

"Shut up smartass." I rolled my eyes.

We finish eating and two bodyguard enter the restaurant, heading to us. "I want you to hold my hand tightly." I nodded. Then, they escort us to our car and wow, the flash of the camera really makes me dizzy. How all the celebrity survived this?

I slid into car quickly, ignoring the question that been asked to us. They are yelling the question, like "Who are you?" and "Are you his girlfriend?". My smartass brain almost answered that I am his maid but well – let’s save this for the next time.

He slid into car after me and his bodyguard is the one that drive us back to his building.

"That is crazy."

"I know."

I snorted. "I hereby announced that the paparazzi is my sole enemy." I said that with a fake big voice. Ace and even the bodyguards laugh at me.

What? It is fun. "How about Alex?"

"He knew what to do."

Well, he deserves that. He didn't help me at all just now.

"By the way, I am quite jealous when she sit on your lap."

He looks taken aback and he stare at me without saying anything. Am I too honest?
