Chapter 12

After 30 minutes of riding, I was starving.

I asked Eric if we were still far and he said that after these greeneries that we were currently passing, we will arrive at our destination.

After I asked him that I stayed on my seat patiently and appreciated the surroundings.

The trees were tall and seemed to stretch far and what’s really beautiful is that it arched over the road we were now driving past.

After a good 5 minutes of admiring the view, I was stunned speechless at what was waiting for me ahead.

It was the sea, a vast color of blue, and a clear view of the skies that made this experience even more breathtaking.

I sighed in contentment and hoped that my jaw is not dropping on the floor of the car.

We skidded to a halt after some time and Eric was the first to go down and he opened my door which signaled that I should get down.

I quickly slid down the car, thanked Eric, and breathed in the sea air.

Making my way forward to the platform, I noticed 10 yachts docked on it.

Zeus was waiting for me in the middle as he smiled at the way I reacted once I planted my feet on the ground.

I waved over him and walked closer towards him.

He was wearing a white shirt on which the first 3-4 buttons were left unbuttoned that showed off his body in a way that was too sexy to handle and he was also wearing blue beach shorts.

“Hi Love,” he greeted me and shot me a dazzling smile.

“Hello” I greeted back and quickly pecked him on the cheeks which sent a small burst of sparks to us both.

“Shall we?” He asked and gestured his arm for me to hold.

I smiled in delight and obliged. He then proceeded to lead me to a yacht that has a second floor? Is that what it’s called.

He guided me inside the yacht and there lying in wait was a table in the middle set up with food.

Bacon and eggs as well as pancakes for this early morning. There are also choices of drinks at the sides which was either tea, milk, hot chocolate, or coffee.

“I didn’t know what you preferred so I bought them all here.” He said smiling boyishly while peeking down at me.

“I hope you’re hungry,” He said again as he made his way to the chair up front and continued to pull out my chair while gesturing with his hand that I sit on it.

“Starving,” I replied.

On cue, my stomach rumbled loudly, I shyly looked up at him through my lashes as I sat down on the chair.

“I guess you made them all,” I said to him.

“With a little help, I want nothing but the best for my Luna,” He replied as he sat down on the chair opposite mine.

“What a lover-man” I proclaimed as I went and grabbed a spoonful of rice together with bacon and eggs.

Suddenly, the yacht seemed to move as we ate. I am guessing that there is someone who is driving it around while we eat peacefully while taking in the view of the vast seas.

“Where are we going in particular,” I asked and followed it by

“Are you taking me to an island or some sort?” Then laughed it off as I reached for my hot chocolate drink and took a sip.

“Why, yes of course,” He replied back as he shot me another dazzling smile.

“No kidding?!” I was doubting him due to the extravagance of this date already.

“How much did you spend so that we can enjoy this all?” I queried.

The thought suddenly made me shy to accept more of his gifts.

“Don’t worry Mi Elkirah, I basically own tons of businesses and land in my territory.” He replied.

That’s when it hit me, his pack stretched out so far because they are the largest and strongest pack in the world.

The magnanimity of things seem to creep up at me at this point as I swallowed down the food.

Being a Luna is one thing entirely different from being the Luna of His pack.

Shaking myself out of the thoughts that made me doubt myself.

I decided that I will enjoy everything from today onwards.

Even if I’m used to doing the bare minimum of things, I can still become used to this side of life.

I wonder if I can get used to it faster, but I don’t hold that thought longer as I need to be more patient with myself after everything I’ve been through to get here and be with my Mate.

“Are you okay?” he asked me as I finished eating the last of my food.

“Yes,” I forced a smile on my face as he sensed that there is something wrong with my emotions.

Seeing that I was not in the mood to explain, he asked if I’d like to go and take a swim in the sea as the yacht skidded to a halt in the middle of it.

“Are there any bathing suits lying around here somewhere?” I asked him as the hot sun was felt against my skin as I reached out and turned my hand upward to face it.

“Yes, they’re below deck as well as a room for us both.” He replied.

“You can take your pick,” He then followed.

He gestured to the door that led below the decks as he made his way to tour me inside the yacht.

Inside it was a welcoming ensemble of a mini home where everything is inside.

As soon as you go through the doors that led to this mini home what greeted me was the living room where there is a couch on one side and what looks like a projector screen pull up.

Zeus told me that it was a convertible couch that can double up as a bed if we liked as he proceeded his tour inside the yacht.
