Chapter 7

Elkirah’s POV

Waking up to the sun rays flashing my face slightly, I turned around only to see no one.

Getting straight to my senses, I realized that I still didn’t know his name!

Flushing red due to the embarrassment of asking him to sleep next to me and hug me (which was made possible due to my outfit as his skin didn’t seem to touch any of mine).

I took a minute to look around the room and noticed that the walls were marbled white and they stretched out high up, like a mini castle vibe. The bed was king-sized and the covers were elegant royal blue, there was a bedside table which I noticed had a note in it that said

“Be back with your food, I just went out to get some fresh air. XOXO, Zeus”

Well, there goes his name. I wonder if he already knew mine. Did I mention it last night? I was too out of it to realize what and what not.

I thought to myself what my plans are for this wonderful day then made up my mind to call my former pack because Ray must be worried to death.

Getting out of the bed, I looked around in hopes to find a phone.

I saw one near the door, although it was a telephone it’ll still do.

Dialing the numbers I knew by heart, I called and waited for an answer.

“Hello?” The line said.

“It’s me Elkirah ” I proceeded

“Alpha, It’s her” I heard as some shuffling noises were made on the other end of the line.

“Good Heavens, Child! Where have you been? We have been searching for you because you’ve been gone for almost 24 hours!” He bellowed.

“I’m good, I’m sorry for worrying you too much. I’ll tell you another time, for the meantime. I found my mate Ray, He’s also an Alpha although I don’t know what pack I’m in. But I just know that his name is Zeus.” I informed him.

“Oh my,” he said and proceeded to tell me

“That’s the Silvers Pack, the strongest pack in the world. How come you’ve stumbled upon there? It’s far from our lands Elkirah. It’s on the other side of the country!”

“What?!” I bit out alarmed.

“How did I get here then? I only ran here Ray as there were demons that rose from the ground chasing me.” I said hurriedly.

“I don’t know what did you do?” He said further

“Do you need someone to fetch you there or ?” He opened up.

I said “No Ray, thank you for the offer but come visit me when you’re free. I’m safe here with my mate and I think I also want to know for myself how I ended up here”

He reluctantly said okay but, he also asked if he could send Savvy to look out for me here. I said that I’ll think about it and call him if anything comes up and ended the call.

As it ended, the door burst open to reveal my mate who looked so handsome in his white polo shirt and light grey shorts with his hair disheveled and his eyes only fixated at me.

I realized that I haven’t done anything to freshen myself up yet and looked up at him in horror.

“I haven’t freshened up yet…” I started before getting cut off.

“You still look so beautiful, I seriously don’t mind waking up next to you.” He smiled.

“Here’s the promised food,” He gestured to the tray in his hands.

There were tons, by the way, pancake, bacon and eggs, rice, and fruits on the sides. As well as what I hoped would be hot chocolate to drink.

“I still don’t know you,” I said

“You’ll get to know me soon enough, ask away,” he said

“Sorry for my behavior yesterday, I had a lot on my mind and didn’t get to take care of you in my best state,”

“It’s okay, I understand.”

I reached for the food and began ogling him while eating.

I was able to get out my questions one by one to him while doing so only to end up getting choked because I was eating fast and talking at the same time.

“ Slow down, you’ll have me all day today” He started off while handing me water to drink.

I don’t know about you girl, but my man dedicating his whole day to me really turns me on in an I like that type of way.

I then focused on eating my food and devouring this delicious piece of human in front of me with my eyes.

Then quickly brushed my teeth and returned by his side and excitedly asked him,

“Why do we burn each other?”

“How did I get here? I’m from the White pack.”

“Do you know my name? It’s Elkirah btw” I then proceeded on bombarding him with more questions that I didn’t think he can answer all of it at once but I still asked him in hopes of a decent answer.

He answered all of my queries one by one nonetheless.

“Let’s just say we are not from the same origin.”

“I don’t know how you got there to here but I do know that it was meant to happen”

“No, I don’t know your name but thanks for telling me right now.”

And so on.

I also asked about the packhouse and what I’ll do here for the time being, when he’ll introduce me to his family, and so on.

I noticed that he turned sad upon the mention of his family and not pressed about it further.

“My Mom died and let’s just say that my Dad is not really the responsible type so he left me alone here,” I said

“I’ll bring you to the pack elder when he returns from his trip outside of the country.”

“For what?” I asked.

“For him to help us be able to touch each other if it’s possible given the nature of my origin”

“What exactly are you?” I asked again.

“I’m not like you in all sense, I am a wolf but something more I guess.” He told me calmly.

“I’ll introduce you to the pack soon enough, but for now rest well here and I’ll get all of the things you need here.”

“Okay, that works I guess. I suddenly felt tired so I went straight to bed.”

“I’ll sleep some more, will you stay with me?” I said.

“Okay.” He replied and went to the space beside me and spooned me.

I sure hope I don’t dream of anything bad today. I’ll totally creep him out of I did.

With that thought in mind, I slept for what seemed like forever darkness.
