Chapter 6: Anastasia

I sat on the couch, holding the Leviathan brothers’ numbers card. Everything that had been said to me in the private room sounded like a dream, but it sounded too good to be true. Ruby and Lucy were sitting on the floor in front of me, trying to help me make this decision. Honestly, I don’t think I could decide for myself, which makes me grateful to have both as friends. I sat the card down on the coffee table next to the house phone, unsure of what to do.  I told Ruby and Lucy what happened last night when we got home. We haven’t slept or eaten; I felt so gross after the previous night, but I haven’t even showered yet. We’ve been working at the club for four years; they let us work in the back and cleaning, then when Ruby and Lucy turned eighteen, they got to be dancers. I’m a few months younger than them, so there were too many dancers when I turned eighteen, so they let me be a waitress. After a couple of years, they taught me how to tend the bar. The club has been my home for years, but the only reason I stayed was because of my friends and the money. I sighed, “Would you think less of me if I took the offer?” I asked them, they both looked up at me, but I didn’t see anger or distrust. I saw happiness, “Ana, if you don’t take the job, then I will think less of you,” Lucy told me. We laughed as Ruby stood and picked up the phone and card. Ruby looked at it carefully before typing on the phone and bringing it to her ear. I raised a brow at her,  “Yes, am I speaking to the Leviathan brothers?” She asked; I was frozen in my seat. What the hell is she doing? “I’m a friend of Anastasia Reese.” Ruby continued to speak into the phone, “Yes, she’s decided to take the offer. She’ll be riding with our friend to the club and me tonight, and she’ll resign.” I heard a muffled voice as she stepped closer, “Of course, I look forward to speaking with you then. Goodbye.” Ruby hung up the phone and placed her hand on her hip,  “What the hell?” I muttered, still in shock over what just happened; Ruby smirked,  “Ana, don’t question it. An opportunity has appeared for you. Take it.” She told me as she pulled me up into a hug; Lucy soon joined,  “Just don’t forget about us when you’re running that company.” I laughed, tears of joy starting to pour down my cheeks,  “I love you, guys!”  After some food, sleep, and a much-needed shower, I was in the car with Lucy and Ruby. I took in a shaky breath; I was terrified. The second we parked, we got out of the vehicle then entered the club. “Do you want us to come with you?” Ruby asked; I shook my head, “No, don’t risk it. I’ll be fine.” I told them, and they walked off towards the changing room. I, however, went towards the office. The door was shut, so I knocked, mustering up as much courage as I possibly could,  “Come in.” I heard Jacksons’ voice call from the other side. Taking in a breath, I opened the door, but what I saw shocked me to my core. There they were, my new bosses, the Leviathan brothers. Jacksons’ eyes darted to me, “What do you want? I’m in a meeting.” He snapped at me. I don’t know what happened, but all of the strength and courage I had disappeared,  “I uh, I….” I couldn’t form the words; Jackson was getting pissed,  “Spit it out!” He yelled, throwing his pen at me, I dodged it, but before I could say anything, Elliot stood up, “You should not treat your employees like that.” He told Jackson in a stern tone,  “Indeed,” Drake stood alongside his brother, “It’s truly disgraceful how you treat your employees.” They both turned to me, “A lady deserves to be respected and not talked down to like a dog.” I blushed as he spoke,  “Yes, and not to mention treated like a lady and not just some toy you can do as you please with,” Elliot added to his brothers’ statement. Jackson growled and stood,  “She’s just some w***e we picked up off the streets. She’s nothing but a filthy street rat!” I don’t know what happened, but then a newfound power began surging through me. I walked over to him and slammed my hands on the desk, “Listen here, you egotistical, sexist, jackass, d**k!” I screamed, “I quit! You have been the worst person to work for! We are all a hell of a lot more than t**s and ass. The only reason I’ve stayed as long as I have is because of the friends that I’ve made here and because I needed the money. And honestly, I’ve been waiting so long to say this to you.” I paused for dramatic effect, leaning in close to his face, “You can burn in Hell.” I told him with a smirk. I leaned away, content with what I said; however, Jackson looked like he was about to burn the whole place down. I decided to start walking towards the door when I heard him mutter, “You little slut.” I don’t know if it was this strange power that was still coursing through me or if I was just done with this jerk’s bullshit, but I turned around, walked back towards him, and slammed his head onto the desk; how did I do that? I pushed the question to the back of my mind as he began squirming. I leaned down to his ear and whispered,  “I am a better person than you will ever be. And if you harm or threaten anyone else here, I will not hesitate to kill your sorry ass.” When he stopped squirming, I told him I knew I had won, but I wanted to make sure my point came through that thick skull of his. I slammed his head one more time, “Am I clear?” I asked; he couldn’t move his head, so I let him up slightly but observed him, daring him to test me. He finally got to where he could speak, “Crystal.” He muttered; I smirked, “Good,” I said as I went towards the door, but the brothers stopped me,  “Miss Reese, thank you so much for the call this morning.” Elliot said to me, I smiled, “We were wondering if you would like to go ahead and fill out the paperwork tonight, perhaps over dinner?” I stared at them for a moment, “Dinner?” I asked, “Shouldn’t I come in on Monday to fill everything out?” I asked. The brothers looked at each other, then back at me, “Traditionally, yes,” Drake replied, “however, we will be working so closely. I thought it would be a good idea to get to know each other. Is that a problem?” He asked. I was stunned. Is this a test, I wondered? Maybe I’m supposed to say no, but what if I’m supposed to say yes? Would I fail? Would I be terminated before I even start working? I then looked down at my outfit. I wasn’t dressed for anything fancy,  “Please,” Elliot muttered softly, “it would mean a lot to us.” There was a slight hint of pain in his voice that made my heart ache for him; it made me want to console him. I shook those feelings aside and smiled nervously, “Sure, sounds wonderful,” I told them; the smile that appeared on their faces made my heart flutter. Before I knew it, I was walking out of the club with the two wealthiest bachelors in all Alador City. I was in the backseat between the two brothers. How did I not see the limo at the club? The brothers stared silently out their windows. I couldn’t help but stare at them, the piercing blue of their eyes, the way their hair just delicately falls in front of their faces. I could feel myself getting wet over my thoughts. I thought about them towering over me and taking me, destroying my body with passion and lust. Before I could stop it, a soft moan escaped my lips. I covered my mouth, but the brothers looked at me curiously. I could feel the heat of embarrassment flush my cheeks as I turned my attention straight ahead, praying that they wouldn’t ask questions. Drake then cleared his throat, “Are you a fan of steak?” He asked. I turned my attention to him, “I’ve never had a steak before.” I admitted, seeming to shock the two, “Ruby, my friend has; she said it was the best thing she’s ever tasted.” Elliot then knocked on the divider, and the little window rolled down, “Take us to Rollands’ please. We’re treating this lovely woman to a steak dinner.”  “Yes, sir.” The driver said before rolling the window back up. I raised a brow at them,  “Rollands’? Isn’t that the really expensive restaurant uptown?” I asked. Elliot nodded. “We don’t have to go there; I’m fine with a sandwich, honestly.” I lied, but my stomach gave me away,  “Don’t try to get out of this.” Drake told me, chuckling, “Besides, Rollands’ has the best steak in the city.” I slumped back in my seat and closed my eyes, but even with my eyes closed, I could sense their eyes on me.  We entered the restaurant and were immediately escorted to a table in the back of the restaurant. Drake pulled my seat out for me then they both took a seat on either side of me. We were handed menus, “What would you like to drink this evening?” The waitress said,  “Two glasses of water and whatever the lady would like, please,” Elliot told her; she then turned to me,  “Um, a water will be fine,” I told her; she nodded and smiled before walking away. I glanced over the menu, but my jaw dropped when I was the prices,  “Please,” Elliot said, “get whatever you’d like. It’s on us.” I didn’t know what to pick. It was all so overwhelming, which seemed clear to the brothers. Then we heard a loud voice boom towards our table,  “Bonjour! My friends, Elliot and Drake, you both look wonderful!” The brothers stood and hugged the man. He was tall, very buff, and clearly French. He turned to me, and his hazel eyes met mine, “And who might this be?” He asked, motioning to me, “This is Miss Anastasia Reese, our newest employee,” Elliot replied; the man came over and knelt on his knee, taking my hand in his and kissing it lightly,  Bonjour, madame.” He said seductively; I smiled, “I am Rolland Monet; it is a pleasure to meet you.” I honestly didn’t know what to say, so I did my best ladylike impression, which helps since I took French in school before we dropped out, “Merci monsieur. C’est également un plaisir de vous rencontrer." All three mens jaws dropped,  “My, my, what part of France do you hail from?” Rolland asked me. I giggled, which through him off guard, “I’m not from France.” I admitted, “I had a French class at my school before I dropped out.” Rolland seemed surprised, “Madame, it sounded perfect!” He exclaimed, “If you did not tell me yourself that you learned it in school, I would be certain that you were French.” I smiled,  “Merci,” I said,  “In fact, allow me to prepare for you my most famous dish, s’il te plaît.” I smiled, “If it means that I don’t have to pick something, then please.” I giggled,  “Make that three and a bottle of the Syrah, please,” Elliot told Rolland; he was beaming with joy, “Perfect!” He said, “And consider your meal on the house.” Rolland winked to the brothers, who just rolled their eyes. I sat there before asking, “So, where’s the paperwork?” I wondered; Drake smiled and pulled out an orange envelope and placed it on the table in front of me while Elliot sat down a pen, “We took the liberty to fill in some of the information ourselves, at least the parts we’d be certain about, but the rest is up to you,” Drake told me, then Elliot added, “If anything is incorrect, then we can revise it later.” I nodded and began to go through the paperwork. When I was finished with the paperwork, the food was brought out to us. I sipped on my wine as I signed the last line, handed it to Drake, and gave Elliot his pen back. “We officially welcome you to the Leviathan Corporation family,” Elliot said, holding his glass in the air. Drake followed suit, then I did as well; the glasses clinked then we all took sips and ate.  After dinner, the brother escorted me into the limo and drove me home. Since I was a little tipsy, they insisted on walking me to my apartment. I was sleepy and dropped my keys on the floor; Elliot picked them up and found the apartment key. They helped me inside, and I led them to my room, mainly because my legs were jello, but also, in my tipsy state, I wanted them. I opened the door and fell onto my bed, “Now then, we’ll see you first thing Monday morning.” Drake told me, trying to make it out of my room, but I grabbed their wrists and pulled them on the bed, stunning both of them, “Don’t leave,” I whispered as I leaned down and began to kiss Drakes’ neck, “please.” I leaned over to Elliot and started doing the same thing. I may have worked as a bartender, but I am such a lightweight when it comes to actually drinking alcohol. Before I knew what I was doing, I began kissing the two of them. The room was filled with moans as I began to rub the outside of their pants. Elliot came behind me and took off my shirt and bra. Kissing down my neck and shoulders, Drake started massaging and sucking my breasts. My moans became louder, and I was pinned on the bed with Elliot on top of me, kissing me roughly; I must admit, I didn’t expect this from him. After a few minutes, Elliot helped me up as Drake began to take off my pants and panties. He kissed the soft skin where my panties had been, then said, “This is a beautiful tattoo.” Elliot turned me slightly so he could get a look too, “Who did it? It’s remarkable.” Elliot asked. I blushed, then muttered under my breath,  “It isn’t a tattoo.” They stood and backed up slightly,  “What do you mean?” They asked in unison,  “I was born with it,” I told them, but then I felt the room begin to spin, and then everything went black.
