The day started like any other, with my alarm going off at 6:30am and me hitting the snooze button more then once. By doing this I knew I was going to have to rush to get ready for a busy day at work. Once I found the strength to drag myself out of bed I hit the ground running. First shower then teeth, brush hair and put on a small amount of makeup then throw on my nursing scuba. All why hopping my husband has made my coffee so I am able to run out the door. My husband is the sweetest man I had ever meet, the kind of man most girls dream about, thoughtful, loving, passionate and supportive as well as good looking. He has a smile that make a woman’s knees go weak, and a body like a personal trainer I mean this man looked like a god him self standing 6foot 3 dark black hair that nice kind of facial hair all neatly groomed. Making me wonder why he is with someone like me, I mean I am at best a 6 possible an 7 and a half with makeup on. Just reaching 5 foot 3 with long blond hair and slightly on the curvy side. I could hear him calling “Babe, babe, if you take any more time getting ready you will be late for you shift” “I know honey have you made my coffee” I replied “Yes it’s in your cup on the kitchen bench” “Thank you babe” I said as I ran passed him grabbing my coffee and putting a kiss on his cheek. “Have a good day honey” he yelled as I ran out the door shutting it with a thud. Once I am in the car I put on my favourite podcast Crime Junkies and pull out the drive way. The drive to work is filled with long stretches of road as we live in a small country town about an hour and a half out of the city, I am lucky though I work in our local doctors practiced here in Cherry Creek. I loved my job ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be a nurse and work with doctor Witham who to be honest needed to retire, as did his wife Elaine our receptionist both where will into there late sixties. When I arrived at work that day something was different there was a new car parked in the staff car pack, now this would not have worried me but this Grey Mazda BT-50 was parked in my car park. But I was not going to let this get me down, so I packed next to this rude individuals car and went about my morning. That was untill I walked through the door and seen him my keens went weak and my heart started to race I could feel the adrenaline running throw my body it couldn’t be but hey it was, Allan Herman was standing right there in front of me. I drop my lunch all over the floor in such shock, I have not seen Allan since I was a teenager he was one of my dads work colleagues, but not quite as old as my dad there was a 9 year age gape between Allan and dad, putting an 14 year age gape between Allan and I. But this was not why I dropped my lunch all over the floor, you see Allan and I had an affair before he moved away to work in the mines about 4 years ago now. Thing between us didn’t end the best Allan wanted me to leave my husband and run away with him but I couldn’t I had been with my husband Matt since I was 16 years old.
