Chapter 18

Elaine's POV

After the boys left we started setting up for tomorrow's party, half way through I decided to check my phone and just as I took it out I saw a text from Noah saying to check out i********:, I open and see a new post on his profile, It's a picture picture of the 3of them, I see some other people in the background and remember Jason's plans to help us make sure Noah doesn't suspect anything, I really hope that this wont end in disaster...

Reading the caption, I feel abit relieved because I think Jason's promise will definitely be held up.

I send him a private picture...

Not knowing what to say I add xoxo.

Than put my phone away.

We soon finished and it's already way late.

Me and Amy head upstairs and go to bed I check my phone one last time and see no more picture updates on i********:.

So I decide to stop stressing and sleep.

The first thing I do when I wake up is to call Jason, to remind him about what time they should bring Noah over, he answered and I could hear they're still sleeping from the sound of his voice.

He agrees and cut the call.

Me and Amy are the first ones up, we shower and went down together to do some last minute stuff before going back to my room to get ready.

"Elaine you look amazing...!"

Amy sounds more exited than me.

"Are you sure this dress isn't to short?"

I look at the dress pulling at the hems, I'm not use to wearing dresses higher than my knees so this dress being almost 7 fingers higher makes me nervous.

"Dont be silly, it perfect, just add some pumps, a messy bun, light makeup and walla, your even more stunning than the dress, so no one's gunna even notice the length. " Amy pointes to the mirror

I look at it and I really hope she is right.

The dress I'm wearing is the only dress I didn't fit on yesterday with Noah.

I wanted it to be a surprise dress for the surprise party.

It's a off shoulder Chanel dress in a beautiful pale pink color. Its plain but beautiful and I am not someone who likes to wear to flashy things so this is elegant and right for the occasion.

Its almost time so we finsh up and head down stairs.

Standing on the portch we soon see guests arriving.

I feel very nervous, meeting everyone as they head in I receive gift for me and Noah and it feels weird because I don't even know any of these guests.

Soon everyone is here except for the Boys.

Amy hurries over telling me that Jason just called and they'll be here in 30 minutes.

I hurry to find our parents, they are talking to a middle aged man, and I assume it's Noah's dad, dad introduced him to me and I was right, I greet him than tell them Noah's on his way.

Soon everyone is outside waiting for them.

We see Jason's car pull into the driveway.

They had even blind folded Noah.

These boys really went all out.

Helping him walk they head to the house.

And than...

they take off his blindfold.

every yells...

"SURPRISE!!!!"

I see the shock on Noah's face.

I'm happy and relieved our plan worked.

Soon Everyone is greeting Noah and wishing him a happy birthday.

I'm the last one he meets.

When I see the way he looks at me, I feel my heart flutter.

Half running towards me, he wraps his arm around my waist and lifts me off the ground, twirling me around.

"Babe, I missed you you much."

Noah says as he leans his head into my neck.

He is soooo sweet.

"Really, It looked like you guys were enjoying yourselves last night from what I could tell from the picture".

I say in a sarcastic voice when he puts me down staring into my eyes.

He catches my weak anger.

"It was okay, but I missed you some much I couldn't imagine the rest of the weekend without you."

he says.

Kissing me a few times.

I smile at thim and soon we head inside.

Passing the guests, Noah, one by one introduced me to them all, I feel like Noah is trying to make sure everyone knows who I am.

I just smile and the guests seem to also know what Noah's up to,so they also go along with it.

But to spoil this beautiful day I see the one person I hoped I would never see agian.

Jaing Jang Xia.

I don't know who invited her.

I mean everyone who knew about the party knows the history between her and Noah except for his mom, but I doubt she even knows this girl.

Feeling my body trembling I squeeze Noah's hand hard and he instantly looks at me.

I point with my eyes at her, and when he sees her, it doesn't look like he is surprised.

Did he know about the party?

Did he invite her?

Seeing that I'm pissed, Noah tries to comfort me.

"Babe, I don't want to be a party pooper, but I kind off knew about the party, as for her, just ignore her she came because I invited her as a parting gift, before she heads back to Bangkok..."

I look at Noah and feel so stupid, I should have known he won't miss all the sneaking around we did earlier in the week.

But still, when did he actually find out? seeing the last time I saw this slut, was Wednesday, so when did he find out, and when did he invite her.

"Elaine, please stop thinking to much and let's just enjoy the party, besides I still have a surprise for you."

Hearing him say surprise I have now completely forgotten about Jaing Jang Xia.

I smiled at him than we went over to meet the rest of his friends.

He meets his dad.

I can see that he isn't quite comfortable with him, but he is trying.

I want to comfort him, so I squeeze his hand to let him know I was right there, always.

He glanced at me and he seems to have gotten the message.

We part ways for a bit.

I am with Amy and Noah's seems to have disappeared.

I guess it has something to do with the surprise he talked about.

Than out of nowhere I hear applause and see Noah coming down stairs with flowers in his hands heading towards me, but I also noticed that slut not far behind him standing at the top of the stairs looking at him as he comes down.

I try to look only at Noah.

He comes to me and hand me the flowers.

Pulling out a jewelry box from his pocket, he opens it to reveal two rings...

Wait what..

"Elaine, when I returned I already knew who you were and where you fitted into my life, but I didn't expect to fall in love with you even deeper than I already was, I tried to convince myself it's not what I wanted, but I couldn't... I hope that with this ring you will accept my love and know that I'll always love and respect you till we can finally get married, which... He paused for a moment, a sneaky smile spread across his face...

"I hope will be sooner rather than later, but for now this ring is my promise to you, a promise to only love you...

I have made alot of mistakes before today but I hope you will be willing to forgive me and forget it, because I can't live without you..."

After Noah's confession I can't help but think everything he said about mistakes has to do with the girl upstairs, who is still staring at him.

now I'm not sure about being with him.

I mean isn't this what I had been waiting for?

Its like alarms are goig of inside my head.

I take a look around.

I see his mom and my dad both giving there approval, nodding their head at me.

I feel this extreme fear crawling into my heart.

I look at Noah who's still waiting for my answer...

"Noah..."

I dont know what to say...

I keep feeling something is off.

"Please, Elaine, please say you love me to.."

I see the expression in his eyes,

The image of last week Friday, him sobing and cry on the beach flashes into my mind.

I dont want to see him like that again...

"I love you to Noah..."

Thats the only thing I said.

Everyone was happy and cheering.

Noah slipped the ring onto my ring finger and wrapped his arms around me, but looking at that b***h upstairs I see the jealously and anger on her face.

I'm 100% sure something is wrong.

Did I make a mistake?

Not wanting to spoil the party, I close my eyes putting my head on his shoulder. The rest of the party is okay.

I dont see that horrible woman again.

Very soon everyone is leaving and me and Amy see the guests out.

And just than...

Jaing Jang Xia is the last to leave.

But not before whispering something in my ear.

"While you were down stairs, on the first day we met, Noah had s*x with me , f*****g me so hard that he had to cover my mouth to muffel my screams..."

I feel my soul leaving my body, my heart now pumping in my throat but she isn't done...

"than while you were playing with your friends he came over to my place and again he had s*x with me the whole day, the last time we had s*x was Sunday...and it was so good.

I hope you are happy with this loser... You guys are the perfect match..."

When she leans back she glares at me with an evil smile before walking away...

Amy, who must have heard everything is now infront of me speaking but I hear no sound.

only Jaing Jang Xia's words are playing in my head now...

I feel like I cant breath.

I'm completely numb.

Amy leaves my arms and run into the house.

When I realized she has left, I want to run but soon Noah is standing infront of me holding my hands.

"Elaine... I'm sorry... Please let me explain..."

I look at him and I feel something inside of me break...

"PAW."

I slapped him as hard as I could.

What came out next was calm, but straight to the point...

"Noah Anderson, I... hate... you."

Not waiting for any response I run down the driveway, leaving Noah still standing there, I don't know if anyone's following me but the minute I see a taxi heading my way I wave it done and get in.

I don't know where I'm headed...
