Chapter 23
When we finally reached the hospital Owen gave my hand a squeeze before we head inside. Inside the hospital I see our parents sitting outside in the waiting room outside the ICU. I walked over to them and sat next to my dad. We never spoke a single word. The seconds felt like hours, the silence was life a cloud of thick black smoke threatening to consume us all at any moment. The doors opened. Finally we met the attending doctor assigned to Noah's case. Last night when they brought him in they couldn't find the cause of Noah's conditions so this morning they ran some tests and he had just recieved them. He walks over to us..
