Saint Ignatius, Norwood, had been Pat’s parish church for most of his life, until he’d moved across town to Glenelg following Pam’s death. Although he hadn’t been inside the building for close on five years, he felt the pull of the familiar atmosphere of his surroundings as he took a seat in the front pew alongside Rose and Alex. He’d started his education in the school next to the church, before moving on to the senior campus at Athelstone, where he’d met and fallen in love with Pam.
