What the hell had just happened? One second I was sitting at the table cradling a cold beer and talking to my father in law, my hand firmly in that of my husbands and the next I was flat on the floor. My face just millimetres away from what I suspected was gum.
I never in a million years realised gunfire could be so loud. All those years of watching tv and movies hadn’t prepared me.
