Lunch

“Does she want to play?” Gabriel asked as if it’s the only reason for someone to hold a ball and hand it to someone. “I think she’s telling me to help instead of chatting.” Raphael grabbed the ball and walked towards the container of balls and dropped it inside. Raphael looked back at Mallory and she started nodding cheerfully. She picked up another ball and dropped it in the box as well. Mallory is finally smiling again. I guess, someone who can walk around naked should have that much mental toughness. Haha, I can’t believe I even got mad for her. Now that I remember, it’s still unclear about what happened before. I borrowed Raphael’s notebook and pen to ask her; “Why were you in the locker room?” Green eyes. Clean. Umm... So she wanted to tell Aiden to help in cleaning? “How did you know he was there?” I asked. I smelled. Yeah right, let’s just say she did. “How did you tell him?” I asked. She doesn't have anything to tell him what she wanted to say, she didn’t put a rag right at his face or something, did she? Open door. I tried. See cleaning outside. So she tried to open the door so he could see and come and help us who’re already cleaning outside? It’s so easy for her to get injured. Why won’t she think before acting? This must be when Aiden pinned her to the wall to prevent her from opening the door and put a burn on her collar using that cigarette because she wouldn’t give up. Why... Just why does it make sense to me that she would do that? ”Are you stupid?” I asked her using the notebook. She just looked at me. I don’t think she understands what kind of stupidity it was that she just did. “He was trying to hide there. You were about to expose him.” I wrote down. Hide? “He was trying to skip community service and smoke at that room.” I told her. These are all just speculation, but it’s pretty obvious already. Then again, Mallory doesn’t even seem to know why people take a bath, how would she know that? “Stupid.” I added. She looked down finally realizing what I’m trying to tell her. Still, putting the cigarette butt on her is too much. “You should avoid Aiden.” I wrote. Aiden? “Green eyes.” It’s so strange having to describe people instead of saying their names. Hmm... “How do you call me?” Michael. “No, before you knew my name.” Long hair. Hah, I thought so... Is it really that rare to see men with long hair? I think it’s better like this though. “What do you call Gabriel and Raphael then?” I’m curious if my guess would be correct. Gabriel Blonde. Raphael Glasses. Haha, it looks ridiculous to see it together with their names. “Oi, are you guys done yet?” Gabriel asked holding onto the floor mop. He and Raphael picked up all the balls already. “Why am I the only one helping here?” he complained. “Fine, give me that.” I told him to hand me the mop and left the notebook and pen behind with Mallory. -- Counting the time Raphael got stuck with all those girls and the fight with Aiden, it took us a whole hour to finish cleaning the place. Unfortunately, Gabriel and Raphael have another class already and we haven’t eaten lunch yet. “Ugh, I’m hungry.” Gabriel complained on our way back the classrooms. Raphael who knew it might turn out like this brought out two pre-ordered meals. “I only have two, you guys can eat it. “I still have an hour before my next class, you should have it.” I told him.  He looked at Mallory, “She can just eat with me.” I told him before he could even think of giving it to Mallory. Right after I said that we were already at the intersection where we have to separate. I grabbed Mallory by the hand and went on to the cafeteria. Seriously, I just did that without thinking. She’s sitting in front of me staring and I have no idea what to do. We stayed like that for a few minutes until I noticed that Mallory was still holding on to Raphael’s notebook. “Mallory” was written at the front. It’s practically Mallory’s notebook then. I took a pen from my bag and used the notebook to write; “Tell me your schedule.” I’m not sure if she have one, but I’m gonna ask her either way. I showed it to her and she tilted her head. She didn’t seem to care about having absences so it would have been great by having her kicked because of that, but she doesn’t even know her schedule, or is she pretending? She doesn’t bring anything either. *sigh* why do I feel like it’s easier to plot on getting a super famous person kicked out of school more than Mallory. There’s just too little that I know about her. Never mind, I feel like she’ll be kicked out without me even doing anything. I gave the notebook back and kept the pen on my bag then went to one of the food stalls to get something to eat. I didn’t ask Mallory what she wanted to eat because seem to like everything anyway. She would eat anything we give her, I kind of like that though, she’s almost like a cute dog. I bought pasta and a shawarma. Just right after I got the order I looked back at Mallory. Guess what, dogs are cute, but they always love to make a mess.
