Shop opening

After showing Lily guest room I headed to my room and changed to  pajamas. She never liked to be in tight dress indoors unless it is a necessary and always made sure of her appearance  when she is outdoors as She is a fashion designer and has to carry herself classy and stylish.

I was going to work on her laptop when Lily came to my room. She also changed and sat beside me on the bed. She rolled her eyes at me seeing what I was doing and shut my laptop and glared at me.

"Hey, I was on my new designs.Come I'll show you " I try to open the laptop.

She took it from me kept it away from the bed." Let's talk. I hope you are not mad at me for you know... But I have no other options... I only trust you with my life" she said looking at me.

"It's okay Lily. I already made the decision and happy that it's for you.  Now let's wait for the result" I replied taking her hands in me and smiled at her. My next check up date is after two weeks.

"And you have to help me prepare guest list for the opening ceremony. It is in a week remember?  " I said changing the topic. Yes my boutique is almost ready some final touches are there. I already hired two assistants.

Our guest list is ready after an hour which includes Jacob and some of his employees who are friends of Lily, our friends , my old customers and of course Lily and Ian too. We went to the living room to watch something on TV. We had some snacks and juice while going through the channel and settled on a romantic comedy movie . Lily insisted that she would prepare us dinner after the movie.

She made lasagne  as it is one of my- our favorite. When it comes to cooking she is great. Whatever she cooks, it ended up tastes fantastic.

After dinner and cleaning the dishes Ian called Lily. we call it a day and went to our rooms. Laying in my bed I recall today's events my hand moved to my flat belly and images of Jacob flashed in my mind.

Since the moment Lily add Jacob's name in the guest list she has been thinking about him. His brown eyes and the way he looked at her whenever they met, she feels like there is something in those eyes intrigue her. 'Am I attracted to him?  Oh no. Not again. Focus. Just focus your mind on... Hm... On...  What.. Mm... Yeah!' Boutique'. Drop all other thoughts and just concentrate on your boutique and sleep' she said to her.

The next day she spent inviting the people for her boutique opening with Lily' 'happy to help on her free time . Fortunately or unfortunately Jacob was not there in his office. He's gone to business trip with Ian.

The day..

She look around for the final time in order to ensure everything is perfect. She is wearing a  sleeveless peach coral combination  gown which is fitted to her breast and waste and flows freely from the waste. It has a slit up to her middle thigh and shows her legs when she walks. She  let her curls loose and wear simple makeup . while Lily wearing an off shoulder blue gown and Ian in his gray suit.

The shop is decorated with colorful balloons and bouquet . Her assistants are dressing up the mannequin, all other are set. The dresses are neatly arranged and displayed well. She let a sigh of relief. Now it's time that decide.

The  opening was more success than expected with new customers and orders. Lily and Ian helped her in attending the guest. Her two assistants are also busy with customers. Each one came bought something or ordered their customized one and praised her designs. Jacob also made some purchase and asked for his customized suit from the catalog.He wear a navy blue suit and look hot and handsome. She personally took his measurements and assist him select the fabric and color.At the end of the day, the first day went well with good business. She celebrated the success of the opening day with her assistants and Lily but without alcohol for her.

My business is doing well than expected. We're busy dealing with customers and getting our orders finished in time and delivered it. Some customers would like to make their orders and get it delivered and we are very much fine with that. Jacob's suit is also ready.

It's been  two weeks since the insemination. Lily left after three days when Ian returned from the trip. But before that she stored my fridge with fruits, milk, fresh juices, other foods and a lot of chocolates. She also make sure that I eat well and on time.

Today is her check up day. Lily called her last night told her she will pick her up morning.  She already missed her periods but didn't tell Lily. She took a lavender bubble bath taking her time enjoying the bath and changed into a simple yellow sundress and a matching coat. She wear her heels picking her purse after inserting her phone and headed to kitchen to have a bowl of cereal.

There was a knock on the door '' come in " she voiced and Lily walked in with full of excitement. Nowadays Lily is always very excited and lively. It's not she is complaining,  she likes to see her happy.

" what you eating? " she asked frowning.

" Mm Cereal. Would you like some? " I asked her.

"  No. I'm good" she replied taking a seat before checking my fridge satisfied.

"you ready to go?  Do you feel any changes? " she queried saw me finished my bowl.

'Of course yes. I missed my period, feeling a little nausea and put some weight due to the chocolate' she thought to herself but didn't voice it.

"  Yes I am ready to go. Not much " I replied to her.

Getting into the passenger seat of Lily's car she fasten her seat belt. Lily start the engine and drove to the hospital.

After  some urine test and blood test they waited for the  result.

" The results are positive. " congratulations' You are Pregnant"  Dr. Fernandez told us with a warm smile after checking the report.
