“Maddie, Maddie?” I woke up to my name being repeated in increasingly worried tones. I was on the floor and I couldn’t remember how I got there. My hip, shoulder and head hurt like I’d just fallen over and there was an intense buzzing in the back of my head like a major head ache was about to take hold.
“I’m ok.” I mumbled cracking open my eyes with a groan as the light sliced across my vision to see relief flood Silver face. “What happened?” I asked shaking my head, feeling oddly unbalanced as I sat up slowly.
“I should ask you. I’m sure I took you deep enough.” Silver said a look of worry evident on his face. “What did you see?”
