Sixteen-Forbidden Attraction

Gabriela stared at the blood-stained cloth that was once white she used to stop her ankle from bleeding, preventing the blood leaking from her injury from staining the tile. She added pressure to her wound wincing in pain. She heard a knock. It must be Rachel, she stood up from the couch and limped, whilst another knock was delivered to the door. Surprised by who she saw, she could not mutter a word. Nicholas stood in front of her, she stared at him surprised at his presence, she was distracted on how dangerously good-looking he was right now, he stood only in his waistcoat, revealing his folded sleeves tucked just under his elbows. She swallowed the anxiety growing in her, What is he doing here? She thought. She remembered telling Rachel to come here with first aid, not him. He walked in causing her to move back he closed the door behind him and watched as she limped to the couch and sat down unable to put pressure on her injured foot. He could sense the awkwardness in the room as silence prevailed. "You are injured, didn't believe it when the housekeeper informed me."He feigned, Gabriela can't help the eye roll at his pretence, he caused her this injury. "You mean Rachel?" She said she didn't like the way he addressed her as a mere housekeeper. Lisa was Vincent's housekeeper, but everyone calls her by her name to give her respect. He ignored her correction and squatted before her, observing her injury. She pressed the cloth to her wound, preventing it from bleeding any further. "Don't do that?" he said softly his gaze still on her ankle. "Do what?" she quizzed. He pointed to the cloth she used. "It will get your wound infected." "I know that is why I asked Rachel to bring the first aid the bleeding became a bit much so I had to improvise," He listened to her, his guilt washing him once more. He gets it, it was his fault, he hates feeling this way for her. She tucked a strand of her curly wavy hair away from her face behind her ears, he had a clearer view of her face, her shapely eyes came into view he seemed entranced by them for a moment but shook himself back to reality. What was happening to him? He felt drawn in by her beauty. It was different to him, her beauty was different. It was his first, he found himself admiring her natural look, it wasn't covered with layers of makeup, or lip gloss like Elena, who used makeup every other day His gaze went down to her lips, it looked dried, a bit parched but rosy and plump. Different thoughts running wild, thoughts that should never be acted upon. Those thoughts alone were breaching the agreement he had with Gabriela, he was physically attracted to her. It felt absurd but it was the truth, she was not his type, he had his way with women hotter than her, but yet something about her kept on drawing him back It has only been a day and he found her attractive. The circumstances surrounding them weren't comfortable, to begin with, they loathed each other's presence. That was before, he thought, he doesn't find her so nerdy now, he saw her with a different light added to it. He just wanted to satisfy his primal urges, but not with her. She forbade him, unless... His thoughts bordered different options. She watched him opened the lid of the box methodically, his finger grazed over the amber colored bottles. What is he doing? He touched her leg and on impulse, she flinched it away, it felt warm on her skin and different too. She was shocked by her action, he had the same expression on his face. What is he trying to do? It felt too intimate to her and uncomfortable. She could not draw any other explanation as to why her heart pounds so hard when he comes close to her. "Let me," he said calmly, a part of her reassured by his voice. While the other part warned against it. Of course, she threw the cautions to the wind.He applied the methylated spirit to her wound, she winced slightly at it stung. "Does it hurt?" he asked, searching her face. She felt wary of his action, suspicious of his kindness. "No."She responded. Discarding another bloodied cotton wool, he wrapped the bandage around her ankle softly. Looking impressed with what he did, a little grin appeared on his face. He watched as relief drew on her face. Biting her lower lips she seemed to struggle with what she wanted to say next. "Thank you" she mumbled out. A light smile grew across his face, he took the first aid and walked out of her room. His chest filling lighter. Nicholas searched the dining room for Gabriella. He watched as Rachel dumped the servers in front of him softly. "Where is my wife?" he asked. "Uh... I went to her room to call her, she was fast asleep so I could not disturb her.l,"She replied. Maybe, she was too exhausted from her injury to come down. He doesn't like the fondness he was starting to have for her. He disregarded that thought, he was just being a nice human, his guilt still messed with his mind, it would pass. He only lusted after her, it was already bad enough he felt that way about his wife, talk more about being fond. After his dinner, he found himself in front of her door, touched the knob and it came open. It was very dim, with only the soft rays of the moon illuminating her room. He walked forward, the blanket was not done properly he drew it up, closing it up to her chin, he sat on her bed beside her. A soft breeze blew through the window, he wants to turn his heels and leave the room, he only wanted to check on her, but he was entranced by the soft light drizzled on her face. She was stunning in her sleep, he eyed the structure of her face There was something about her, that kept him coming close to her. He crouched low, her warm breath cascading in his fingers that itched to caress her face, feel that plump lips of her against his coarse finger. He reprimanded himself again. What is wrong with him? He should not be here, he stood up and quickly left. His thoughts wandered as he turned restless on his bed. Her face kept on popping to him. It was pleasurable torture, he could not think of anything else. An image then came to him, it was her dressed in a seductive nightdress. He cursed himself, this should not be the thought wandering in his head this night, it only makes it harder for him. Why was he thinking of her? He is deviating from his plan, he can't be attracted to Gabriela, the last thing he wants was for emotions to be involved.
