Doctors Punishment

As I walked inside, everybody stopped eating. I gracefully walked towards my seat, right side of my father, and sat down.
On his left, sitting my Stepmother. On her right sitting Andrea and on my left sitting a Fucker aka My father’s sisters son, Samuel.
He is a delusional person who thinks, that he deserves the crown cause he is the only man heir in the family.
He even once challenged me for swordship but lost very badly.
Everybody is already halfway through their dinner. Oops looks like I am late.
“Serve” The servers took the hint and served my plate.
“Sister, why were you late?” Andrea asked. The look in her eyes clearly shows that she is up to something.
“You know how long we have waited for you?? Don’t you value time?” she is trying to make me look bad.
“I am not obliged to answer you” I said flatly.
“Look father how she is talking to me and not only now but also in the evening, I just wanted to see the gifts Lord Henry brought back for her and she rudely sent me back. I was hurt.” she fake cried.
“Nina what is she talking about??” He raised his eyebrow at me.
Like always, he just never tries to hear my side of the story. I never called him ‘Father’ again after that day because after that day many incidents happened and as always he never heard my side and took the decision.
He never asked me that why don’t I call him ‘Father’
“Your Highness, At that time I just came back after meeting you. I was not pleased with your decision” I said while directly looking into his eyes “then she asked me to show the gifts. I told her I am tired” well I never said that “but she was stubborn. So I have to talk to her rudely. I was tired and she was troubling me. She should apologize to me” I said. Now she is glaring. Fake b***h.
“Andrea apologize” He said.
“But Fathe….”
“I said apologize”
“Yes, Father. Sorry Sister”
I started eating.
“But Nina it was true, you were late. Why??”
“Your Highness a matter came up. You know I am ‘Crown Princess’ ’’ I said that looking directly into Andrea’s eyes “And my people are important than eating” he has a hint of proudness in his eyes.
“What was the matter? And why am I not informed of it?”
“Actually it happened at the time I was coming. Tomorrow will be its trials. I was already coming here, so I didn’t tell them to tell you.”
“But what was the matter?”
“You will know about it tomorrow. You know mother never liked talking about court matters on food table” He didn’t ask after that.
After that nobody talked. It was not as bad as I thought.
Last time, my stepmother created a big drama, just because I refused to take Andrea to another Kingdom’s Ball with me.
I was going because I had work and she had nothing to do there.
She is just a useless b***h, who loves to doll up. I still remember my lessons with her.
Well, she didn’t attended many anyway. One day she just stopped coming.
Because of that, she is not eligible for crown. So her mother wants her to seduce Henry, as he will be the King after marrying me.
~Next Day, At Royal Court~
The sound of trumpet echoed in the court, hinting the entrance of The King. Everybody bowed.
“Long Live Your Highness” we said as he sat on the throne.
“Rise” He said.
“The court may start”
“Your Highness, the first matter is to be presented by the Crown Princess” Minister said.
“Your Highness” I asked for permission to start with my eyes. He nodded.
“Your Highness, I am holding this trial on Royal doctor for breaking laws and threatening peoples” Some people started murmuring.
“When and which laws did he break??”
“Your highness, yesterday evening when I finished getting ready for the dinner, I was informed that someone tried to assassinate me” some gasps were heard “but Josh caught him on time. They both fought and Josh got severely injured”
“So I went to royal medical chambers to visit him but to my surprise, he was not there”
“Stephen, my assigned guard, for the time being, informed me that royal doctor refused to treat him, as he is not a royal blood, and he is in soldiers medical chamber”
“I went there and saw him lying there unconscious. His assigned nurse told me that his injury is serious and might get infected. So I asked her to immediately get the cure from the royal doctor but she informed me that they have already asked. He will give it in a day or two and there is a high possibility that until then the injury will get infected”
“So I asked her that if this happens often. I hoped that it was not a daily occurrence but again to my surprise, she replied with a yes. I was highly disappointed. It is not all, Your Highness. He even threatened the people that work in the medical chambers that if they tell someone about it, he will not let them work anymore and will whip them to death” Well he didn’t tell them that he will whip them but he refused to cure my brother. He deserves severe punishment.
“He broke the rules and even threaten our people Your Highness, and by doing this he is questioning your authority. I have already ordered the guards to put him in the dungeons last night. I hope you will give a fair judgement, Your highness. That is all” I finished. Now that son of a b***h will face consequences.
“Bring the royal doctor” he ordered.
Immediately guards brought him in and made him sit on his knees.
“Are the allegations made on you are true?” He asked.
“Yes Your Highness but please show mercy I will never do that again” he begged while crying. Pathetic.
“As you have admitted. Then that means you have questioned my authority by doing so”
“As you have threatened people that you will whip them to death. Now it is your punishment. Take him to the training ground and whip him to death” He ordered.
The confusion came on the doctors face and then he started yelling, “I didn’t do it” but nobody listened to him and guards dragged him away.
After that, time went fast. We dealt with many things. I am exhausted.
As I exited the court, Stephen informed me,
“Your Highness, Josh is awake now” First good thing I heard since morning.
“Then let’s go. I want to meet him”
