As I'm walking into the department store I glance over my shoulder and he's still staring but now I notice his demeanor has changed he looks harder, tougher like something has disturbed him. I let it go and continue shopping, as I am looking at a cute deep red top my phone buzzes in my pocket. I put it on vibrate since the now elected goon squad is watching my every move. I look at the screen and don't recognize the number but the text says "Hi Izzy my name is Cairo Michaels. oh my goddess he actually found my number and texted me!!! my heart started racing at this point what should I say? ok breathe Izzy  you got this!  start with the basics I say to myself as I start  typing  how are you Cairo?  as I hit send i get this feeling like someone is watching me but this time its not the goon squad or Cairo.. The leader of the goons notices my body language and comes up and askes if I'm ok? I tell him about Cairo and now now I feel  like I'm being watched but this time it feels evil.. he says it time to head back to the pack and for once I agree and don't argue with him. As we are walking out of the store we are met by a strange man... I cant place it but I swear I know him from somewhere Deja vu maybe?. The strange man  tries to talk to me as he is trying to slowly walks closer to me. STOP DON'T COME CLOSER!! I said and at that second not only is the goon squad surrounding me while two men grab him.....im guessing by their eyes bowing to me that my dad sent more than he said he was going to.. Cairo came up walking behind the man.. ''Izzy'' he says you need to get out of here he looks at the guard in front of me and I swear he mind links him but that's impossible only members of my pack can mind link each other but the guard nods like he knew what Cairo was saying... we run to the cars as soon as I get in I send him a text ''Cairo  what was that all about?!? I hit send and wait for a reply but it doesn't come. I start to worry about him. As we pass into our territory my parents are waiting for us outside the pack house.  Izzy you need to come to my office.. dad tells me as soon as I get out of the car. as soon as I walk through the office door it shuts behind me loudly and startles me! I scream and jump only to find Cairo standing there with a sad look on his face. I'm so sorry Izzy I tried so hard to loose him and when I found out you were my second chance mate I planned on staying as far away as I could. As creepy as it sounds I was just going to watch you but never interfere, but now I must stay near you to protect you.. I understand if you want to reject me... I stood there in disbelief mouth wide open like what the heck just happened! I went from a psycho chick trying to kill me to having a mate all in 1 day.. Izzy please sit down so we can explain everything. my dad says as I regain my composer and sit down.  Cairo will you please sit next to me? I ask and watch him all but run over to the chair I had moved closer to me as he sits I take his hand and almost immediately I feel calm and not so scared like I did before. Izzy you remember when you were little  and that man attacked you. I try and think and as it comes back to me I feel a panic attack coming on NOW I remember why I knew that man from!!!! he was the one that attacked me!! I cant hear anything as the panic attack gets worse but then I realize I'm being lifted up and now I'm sitting on Cairo's lap he starts rubbing my head and that's when I notice that my panic attack is starting to subside... man who knew having a mate was like this! After it fully subsides I move back to my chair but remain very close to Cairo.  Izzy your not going to like what I have to say Cairo says still holding onto me.. but that man is my father he is bent on destroying my life and that's not even the worst part.. WHAT did he just say no it couldn't be the name that's attacked me is his father?!?!? I start shivering as my mother walks in  what's wrong with Izzy i can feel her anxiety from outside?! she demands at my father.. well punky Cairo saved your daughter today she Is his second chance mate if she doesn't reject him … why would she reject him ? my mother asks curiously.  Cairo is the first to speak up   well Luna I found out years ago that my dad had did a very bad thing when I was a teen I over heard him talking to a lunatic that was once our pack doctor. He gave my dad a substance that would make  a person loose their wolf after we went to a seer she told him about Izzy and that she would be my second chance mate. She would make me become the best person i ever could be. I looked over at Izzy with tears in my eyes and apologized to her for everything. The Luna was outraged when she heard this what else has he done she asked... why is Izzy your second chance mate what happened to you first mate?? she was now more curious than mad.. well mam at 16 I fell in love with Otsana Marzen she was training to be the top warrior. When my father found out we were mates he planned a rouge attack we lost a lot of good wolves including Otsana. my wolf and I were devastated. When my old alpha found out what had happened he banished my father to forever be a rouge. After that I left the pack I couldn't take the stares and whispers any longer and my Alpha agreed to let me leave under one condition I never forget where I came from and kept in touch. I did just that I called him once a week and we caught each other up. Alpha he asked me to come see you because he knew that would most likely bring my father here and you could get your revenge. Izzy please forgive me I said as tear started falling again. I would do anything to protect you  even if that means telling you to reject me so I could move on. I looked at Cairo and took my hand back but not before touching his face and reassuring him that. I wouldn't reject him but that I needed some time  to process all of this.. he said yes I understand as I was standing up I looked at my father and asked if I was ok to leave he said yes but don't go outside unless you have Cairo, myself and a few guards with you. awe come on dad really?!? THE GOON SQUAD!!! ugh fine!! as I started towards the door I turned around and said Cairo would you like to walk with me? lets get to know each other first. He looked at my dad and my dad shook his head giving him the ok. he jumped out of the chair so fast it knocked over I giggled mom laughed dad looked shocked Cairo opened the door for us and we set out towards the garden with the goon squad right behind us close enough that they we noticed them but far enough away that they weren't going to bug us.
