Cairo opens up

As we sat in the garden I looked around  at all these beautiful flowers. I turned to Cairo I was hesitant to ask him anything really. Cairo I asked told me about your pack well the pack were you came from if we are to be mates then I think we should know about each other's backgrounds how we grew up. What was your mom like? He sat there for a while contemplating what or even where to begin. Then he started to talk my mom was amazing she was the best cook she was a favorite of everyone's. From a young age I knew my father didn't care for me like he had cared for my siblings I had always wondered why I was treated so different from them. My mom pulled me aside one day and had told me that my father wasn't my father he was her second chance mate. Her first mate my real father died in a battle against rogues for that territory. I had asked her one day why he hated me and she had said that he hated my father because my father was her true mate. He knew  that even as her second chance mate my mother would always miss my father and she loved me twice as much as my siblings. I  sat there in shock what's a girl to say when her mate talks about his mother? I was lost in my thoughts when I noticed he grabbed my hand and kissed it. I don't know how safe our lives will be but I  meant what I said in your dads office I promise to keep you safe. I looked in his eyes and I knew he was telling the truth. Okay we will take this whole being mates slow, as of right now we need to think of a plan to catch your father. lets go back to my dad and see if we can set up a plan Izzy looked at me and smiled and for once in my life i had hope that things might start looking up for me. as we reached  the Alphas floor i stopped her and pulled her back down stairs... HEY WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!!! she yelled at me. i thought we were going to talk to my dad... Izzy calm down! my father is up there right now with your dad. Her eyes got wide, at the same time Donaven came into the the living room hey guys what's up i was just heading to the Alphas office he's meeting with a possible new pack member?? NOO i said loudly he's not a new pack member he's my father and the one who hurt Izzy when she was little can you do me a favor?? can you open the link to me so i can hear what he's saying?? ya I can try once he started looking off into space i felt a tug and answered it i know it was from donaven. once I heard his thought and he heard mine we were ready to go. As Donaven walked into the Alphas office. i started hearing all that my ''father' was saying Donaven let the alpha into our group link so we could talk to each other and hear what that vile man was saying.. Ahh Donaven you're finally here i heard the alpha say come meet William Silverstone he's come to talk to us about the new wolf we have. Hi William so what about him he seems like a pretty good guy i mean he's been helping out a lot and trains just as hard as we do? William sighed that's the thing!! he said he will he will act the best guy ever be as helpful as he can.. that's how he gains access to packs before the rouges start attacking out of no where there will be thousands of rouges at your territory line waiting for his signal.  the Alpha and i both heard Cairo start cussing and getting very angry i told him to calm down if he hurt Izzy it would be the worst mistake he could ever do.. we heard his heart beat start slowing down but as soon as it started going down it seems  like William started his rampage again... HE KNEW Cairo was in the pack house!! Alpha looked at me and agreed he's saying all this so Cairo will get worked up and finish what he started.. Cairo please take Izzy out of the pack house tell her to take guards and take you to her favorite spot as a child.. Yes Alpha and William stopped in his tracks when he could no longer smell Cairo in the house. i took my eyes off him for 30 seconds and in that time he launched himself towards the Alpha. as i was pulling him off the Alpha i thought what is this guy on?? William started screaming so loud '' ill kill her!!!i will kill EVERY mate that bastard has!!.. he doesn't deserve happiness if i cant have it than neither can he!!! he screamed as he was dragged to the dungeons... i looked at the Alpha and said we need to get to Izzy and talk to Cairo there's more to this story than he's letting on.... As Donaven and i were heading to the garden we came across two warriors that had been patrolling  the north east border of the territory. Alpha one spoke his name is Liam he is a few years older than Izzy. Yes? i said looking at this thing their  holding I think at one time it was a wolf??  we found her wandering too close to the line we've asked her to shift and she tries but something is wrong its like it takes all her energy to try but she keeps reverting to her wolf form. I look her over  and link the pack doctor that a wolf is coming in but to be careful she cant shift to human form and she's weak.. yes Alpha he says  as Liam and the other warrior are walking out the door all of a sudden we hear STOP!!!!! WAIT!!!! COME BACK!!!!! we're shocked as Cairo and Izzy are running to the warriors as they stand right outside the door... we rush over as they approach the wolf.. Cairo what is the meaning of this?? i start to question him but it's Izzy who spoke up first.. It's his mother she mind linked him while you were looking her over... Cairo started crying as he held his mother in his arms Cairo? Izzy asked can I say hello? he turned around and she could barely lift her head.. Hello my name is Izzy St. James and this is my Father Edmund St. James he's the Alpha in this pack and I think I speak for him and I when I say welcome to this pack.. my dad looks at me and smiles  I couldn't be more proud of Izzy at this moment. As Donaven and watched Cairo and Izzy take his mother to the pack doctor I couldn't help but think about his mother and started asking 50 questions in my mind what happened to her?? who did this to her ?? but i ruled out Cairo just by the look on his face  and how scared he was i knew he wasn't faking. These emotions were raw and up front. I mind linked Izzy to keep me informed on the condition of Cairo's mother and to let him know that he's got nothing to worry about we will protect his mother and him at all costs. Yes father  and thank you she replied I told her Anytime sweetheart im going to have your mom stop in and keep an eye on her. Let Cairo know she's in the  perfect place and she can stay forever if she chooses..
