Prologue
"Wh-Who are you!? L-Let go of me!" I struggled against them, but I couldn't break free. It felt like many hands were holding me down.
"Please don't move, Miss. You might get hurt." I froze at the sound of her voice. A woman? "We're not bad people; Sir Kian ordered us to do this. And we're all women here." Gradually, I started to calm down.
"W-What are you doing? W-Why..." Why was my body wet? And why did it feel like I wasn't wearing any clothes?
"We're bathing you, Miss. It was an order, so please stay still. We're almost done." My mouth hung open, and I couldn't find the words. They gently laid me down and started washing my hair.
Despite my embarrassment at being naked, I was more puzzled by why they were bathing me. And why haven't they removed my blindfold? I was tired of seeing nothing but darkness.
I tried to distract myself from what was happening. Even though we were all women, I felt incredibly exposed and ashamed. Never in my life had I shown my naked body to anyone, and now this?
"We're finished," one of them said as they helped me stand. I remained silent as they dried my body and hair, then dressed me in underwear and some other clothes. "We're sorry, but we need to tie your hands again." I didn't resist as they bound my wrists.
We started walking, and I heard a door open. I let out a sigh. What were they doing to me? Was this some kind of 24-hour blindfold challenge? It felt more like two days already, and it is driving me mad.
On top of that, the dress they put me in was so cumbersome I could barely move without stumbling. Thankfully, they guided me carefully.
"All done, Sir," one woman said.
"Leave us," Kian's voice commanded. I immediately tensed up. "Come here, sit down."
"Kian... Where am I?" I asked, but he didn't answer. He just untied my hands.
"Sign this," he said, and I frowned.
"What is it?" I couldn't see anything. He placed something in my hand—a pen? "What am I supposed to do? I can't see anything, Kian."
"Just sign it."
"I can't see," I insisted. Why was he pushing this? And what was so important that I had to sign? How could I sign something I didn't understand?
"Sign it everywhere, just sign it," he repeated.
"What is this for?"
"You want me to take off your blindfold, right? Then follow me, be a good girl, Kau." I swallowed hard and slowly nodded. Reluctantly, I signed where he directed.
"O-Okay now?"
"Yes... That's my girl." He took the pen from me and tied my hands again.
"The hell, you really did it?" a voice said.
"Yes, I had to," Kian replied.
"Does Morgan and Regious know about this?" Didn't he plan to take off my blindfold? Did he really have time for chit-chat?
"You're the only one here. Obviously, you're the only one who knows about this."
"Woah. You're really amazing. Good luck, attorney," the man laughed.
"We need to go, Von. Thanks for this." Kian helped me stand and walk again.
"I thought you were going to take it off?" I asked, frustrated.
"A little bit more," he said, and I felt a surge of anger. Was he just playing with me? I heard the engine of a car starting, and despite wanting to throw a fit, I held back.
"Where are we going, Kian?"
"We're almost there," he replied, making me fall silent again.
The car stopped, and Kian helped me out and started walking again. Where were we now? Was he taking me back home? And what had I just signed? Questions swirled in my mind, but there were no answers.
"Kian..." I said softly as he slowly untied my hands and removed my blindfold.
"Welcome to your new home, Wife."
