Before I Met You

 A mysterious song plays in the background. The sound of it becomes louder and louder. As if it wants to be heard. A voice that is calling out from a distance. And then a voice appears at night. A night that comes everlasting. A moon that shines so bright. It fills the sky with a pure glow. A glow that beams to the fullest. And it shines its pure light to the earth. It gives love and affections to nature. And from the light, a mysterious person appeared. It cast its shadow to the world. And it appears in a human form. And in this form was a beautiful woman. A woman that cast themselves down to earth. Just like a fallen sky. Just like a fallen angel. A bird that cast their wings from afar. So that they could live a normal life as a human. As the falling angel came down from heaven; she came out of her crystalized protection. A barrier that protects her from light and dark. And as the barrier melts away instantly, it gives way for the mysterious person. She was seen above the sky. But for humans; they thought it was a meteor shower. A fallen star that fell from the sky. And the star fell from the ground instantly. And the humans who watch from their windows start to grasp their hands together in a prayer. They prayed and prayed for their wish to come true. She landed straight to the ground. But, the slightest wind from the spirit breaks her fall. She was supposed to fall from the ground, but instead; the wind helped her float through the water. The last breath of strength creates a protection in the form of a cocoon. The glowing light from the cocoon covered her. So that her body is protected from unwanted killers of the sea. Even though she was in a protective cocoon. A fragment of her soul lay in a crystal gem. The gem was known as the heart of diamond. It was a precious stone that was said to give you everlasting beauty and immortality. The stone didn't shine bright. Their other half was far away from them. And the same mysterious song continues to echo through the night. The song was followed through the winds. And the song was heard from another part of her, but in human form. She was able to give life to nature. And those nature that the human couple inhaled helps the human woman to give birth anew. It was time for the pregnant human woman to give birth. As she heard the same mysterious song playing out from the distance, the baby that was in her womb heard it. The song was absorbed into her. The memories that the mysterious person had was able to be absorbed into this human infant. When she was born, she was really different. She didn't have the same eye color and hair color as her parents. You could see that at night; her eyes were purple and her hair was white. Just like the moon goddess herself. However, the humans couldn't see her like this. In the eyes of humans, her hair was black; but she had a streak of a mix of red and orange. It's as if her hair was on fire but wasn't. And her eyes were blue like the eye of an ocean. When the human woman was ready to see her newborn, she was filled with smiles and happiness. And she was humming a mysterious song she didn't know. The married couple, their children and their youngest daughter. Their youngest daughter was about two-years-old after months, days and years had passed. They were able to enjoy their life to the fullest. One day, they came to the ocean. They wanted to feel free. They wanted to feel the wind. As they brought out their children; one of their daughters felt a connection to the ocean. She felt at ease. She felt like she's at home. She took a deep breath. She inhaled the beautiful smell of the air. And she closed her eyes. She really did feel connected to nature. At the bottom of the ocean; a bubbly yet glowing cocoon that was there before starts to activate. It felt a strong connection to someone or something up to the surface. Up at the surface, the married couple were relaxing. Their two sons and two daughters were running around the sand. But, there was one daughter in particular that was different from the rest of their children. Instead of her running around in the sand; she just stands there in the middle of the sand. A sand that is close to the ocean and its waves. Even though she was with her family; she could see the depth of the ocean when her eyes were closed. She could feel the breeze of the wind. The smell of the ocean. She could hear a mysterious song appearing out of nowhere. She could hear it from a distance. Words were popping out of her mind. She could hear the rhythm of the song playing out through her mind. She took a deep breath once more and she started to hum a song. She didn't know but she didn't care. As she was humming the song, the sound of it started to become louder and louder. And she starts to sing the song as she opens her mouth. " Time is running out! " said the unknown female voice. " When you know life is not forever " said the unknown female voice. " Time goes by when you're in the zone " said the unknown female voice. " I want to be free, " said the unknown female voice. " Free from the world " said the unknown female voice. "A world that puts me in a cage " said the unknown female voice. When she sang, the cocoon that was underwater heard it. The sound of a heartbeat starts to wake. It's eyes were glowing blue, red, purple, etc. It flickers back and forth. Another unknown voice was singing from a distance. But, there was no one there. A voice answers the call of the girl. The girl who was singing to an unknown person. The unknown voice replies to the person who was singing it in the form of a song. A song of its own. " Life is full of mysteries, " said the unknown voice. " Breathing out of control " said the unknown voice. " Time is coming through, " said the unknown voice. " When you know you're not alone " said the unknown voice. As this was happening, her family were shocked that she could sing so beautifully. She was only two-years-old. Her voice was soothing yet calm. Any hatred or stress you felt earlier starts to melt away. She continues to sing as the sun shows itself. The clouds disappeared for a moment. And the light from the sun cast it's warmth onto her. From a distance, the family couldn't believe their eyes. They start to see beautiful wings. A wing that comes from the back of their third daughter. It was there for a moment. It flickers on and off. She was still little. She couldn't withstand it. More words float into her mind once more. She didn't care if there were people around. All she cared about was her and nature. " Time is running out, " said the unknown female voice. As she sings, she didn't realize that her family recorded it on their phone. " A life filled with emptiness " said the unknown female voice. When the girl was singing; her hair color started to shine and glow at exactly the same time the sun appeared from the sky. " Darkness has come " said the unknown female voice. " Makes me feel like a bird, " said the unknown female voice. " A bird without wings " said the unknown female voice. The song stopped at a halt as the sun disappeared once more. And when she opened her eyes, the song was no more. And from underwater; it felt a voice that was all too familiar. The tiny wings that appeared to the little girl disappeared. When this was happening, a handsome man appeared far from the distance where they were at. He heard the girl singing so beautifully. When she was singing the song earlier; he had a vision. A vision that the world is coming to an end. But, he doesn't know when that would be. However, he knew that his vision was somehow connected to the song. A song that is sung by a little girl. When the girl turned around to face her parents, they saw a glimpse of an unknown woman. A woman that is so beautiful. But, it has the same facial appearance as their daughter. But, when they rub their eyes; the woman they saw for a small moment disappeared from their sight. After they rub their eyes, the little girl waves at their family. They snap back to reality. Their behavior suddenly changed. Especially the girl's siblings, since they start to see her differently. The girls weren't aware of that sharp pain from their heart. But, they ignored it; because they didn't want to cause trouble. The throbbing of the girl's heart starts to beat as their little sister comes over to them. Their brothers saw her differently too. They didn't see her as a little sister. Things change really drastically. The happiness of the family starts to fall and crumble. Because, even though her human mother was the one who gave life to her; she could tell she's different from the rest of other human children. She has become very emotional if a part of nature has become destroyed or damaged. It would also affect her too in a mental way. If humans learn about this, they would just think this girl is CRAZY. But, she's not crazy that is how she is though. If the girl starts to sing again, the song would show visions of a place. It's like they could relive that time and place without doing anything. They could feel the emotions of the song that are being sung to. So, the little girl kept it all to herself. She didn't want anyone looking at her differently. Even though her parents would start to look at her in a different light. After that scenery, the married couple and their children head back to the car. This all time there was complete silence in the car. No one is talking. No one was looking at each other. The one that was driving was the girl's mother. And her father just glanced at her in the side mirror of the car. When they were heading home in a car, there was a mysterious car that appeared out of nowhere. And the women didn't look careful at the road. Even though she was the one driving, she didn't react in time to protect themselves from what was going to happen. It went way too fast. Just like a flash of lightning that appears at night. In a blink of an eye everything went into complete darkness. The car has suddenly rolled over down the deep ditch of the ground away from the highway. The car was at the end of the cliff. The little girl couldn't hear anything. She could feel a wet drop of liquid running through her face. She couldn't understand since she was still a child. She could even smell oil and the scent of fire coming from somewhere.  When she slowly opened her eyes, her mother and father were still there. They were stuck from their seatbelts. And her siblings were also safe from the seatbelt. But, she couldn't hear any heartbeat. She tries calling out to them. " mommy! Wake up! " said the girl as she shouted at her mother. " daddy! Wake up! " said the girl as she shouted at her father. But, they didn't respond. She could see a pool of blood sweeping out of their parents' body. It's like they were pierced through the face of death. The only thing that was still breathing were her siblings. Because they were close to her. They felt safe towards her as if they were clingy to her for dear life. Her first sister was two years apart, her second sister was three years apart, her first brother was four years apart. And her second brother is five years apart. They were holding her hands when the incident happened. It was already too late to save her parents. It was like looking at an empty shell of a body. A body that their hearts were torn into pieces with a broken glass of the window. Their souls weren't there anymore. All that was left was a seed of darkness. Darkness that sweeps out of her parents' body. They were verbally abusing her like it was her fault that the accident happened. She came out alive with her siblings. She only had a strain of red blood coming from one of her siblings. She could still hear breathing from them. It was over for her siblings. There was a sound of footsteps she could hear. The footsteps became louder in every step. She could even hear voices. Voices that sound panic. The people who witnessed it tried their best to help them. As they bust the door gently, the car starts to rock back and forth. The girl and her siblings blacked out from too much bleeding. She couldn't hear anything. The people that took them out were safe in their arms. But, not so much with their parents. What they were holding was a big envelope with letters inside. But the envelope was covered in their parents' blood. After they chose to save the children, the car started to smoke with fire as it burst open. The air made the fire spread faster into the car as the car tumbled down off the cliff. The people couldn't save the children's parents. It was already too late. They were burned to death with the fire that the gasoline started from their car. And the car broke into a million pieces. The people that saved them were rushing them to the hospital. And other children were safe. They only had scratches and bruises here and there. However, the little girl that protected them was still in a coma. She was the one who saved them from dying. But at what price? At the same time, as the girl slept; a group of strange people wearing a black suits and black sunglasses arrived. They were speaking in a language these children couldn't understand. They have lost their voice to speak to them. They start to become mute after the incident. There was no spark of life in the eyes of these children. One adult starts to sigh. And she shakes her head. They have no choice but to put these kids to the orphanage. Except they would leave the little girl at the hospital. Because she needs a lot of medical help. And they also need to wait for this girl to eventually wake up. The children had no spark of life left in their eyes. They stayed by their little sister's side. They didn't want to leave her side just in case she woke up. Their little sister is all they have as a family. When one of the adults tries to touch the kids, they would feel like something cut him. Like a sharp object. But there was nothing there. There was just him and the children in the hospital room. No one cannot touch them. It's like someone is protecting these children from being harmed. Or if the adults have ill intentions they won't be able to approach them. As the little girl was still in a coma, she felt as if her soul were sweeping out of her body. As she opened her eyes, she was standing next to her body. She wasn't aware of what's going on. And as the window burst open on its own, a gust of wind gathered the children together to protect them from mere humans. The winds shield them from any threat the humans try to get close to the children. The humans were shocked. They didn't know why the winds came out of nowhere when they approached the kids. The soul of the little girl could see the spirit of the wind. The spirit of the wind was in the form of a human. He was handsome and intelligent. He also had wings like a fairy. The wind spirit's human form was slender, masculine build, fair skin, defined triangle face shape and skinny body. He had light blue spiky hair, classic almond green eyes and a gentle smirk. He was also well toned like he had muscle. And he looked like a warrior that could protect himself. His fairy winds were astounding. Because his wings reflect the light of the moon to his winds. So, he could easily bless these children's protection from the gods. But, he cannot interfere with humans. The wind fairy was the only one who could see the soul of the little girl. He wasn't shocked. " Hello little one! You must be special " said the wind spirit. The little girl looked at him. She wasn't scared. She felt calm. " w-w-w-h-h-h o-o-o are you? Are you here to bring me to heaven? " said the little girl. " No, I'm not here to bring you to heaven. That's not my job. Since, I'm not a grim or death reaper " said the wind spirit. " Oh if you're not here to send me to heaven. Does that mean I haven't died yet? " said the little girl as she felt calm speaking to him. " I'm very sorry. I don't know all the answers. If you wish to know, you could speak to the grim reaper. But, I don't think it's wise for your siblings to meet him in person " said the wind spirit. " Ah I see. Were you the one who protected my siblings? " said the little girl to the wind spirit.
