I hurried out of the meeting room as I bade my brothers and some of the board members goodbye. I immediately walked past Chantal who I knew was waiting for me because she has been asking me to come to her place tonight, but I've been declining her for the past weeks.
"Max!" She called out to me. Bumaling ako sa kaniya panandalian.
"Gotta go. Sorry." I said as I was pulling out my phone from the pocket of my pants.
Nag-resend ako ng sms kay Rainbow na kanina pa ako hindi sinasagot.
"Where are you? Did Gerard pick you up from the airport?" I sent Rainbow the sms for the fifth time, but she never replied.
It was annoying and made me think that I should give Rainbow a mobile phone that has a tracker on it.
