Isaac’s POV

I started to walk slowly towards her, I had to control my wolf. She was human so I needed to handle this situation as humans would. I would make her fall in love with me.

She looked so damn gorgeous, I was already madly in love with her, I hope she accepts me, my heart can’t take her rejection.

As I got closer, she sensed my presence and locked eyes with me. Her big brown eyes peered into my soul, I could hear her heart rate increasing and she held in her breath.

I gently placed my hands on her sexy waist, I wanted nothing more than to throw her over my shoulders and lock ourselves in my room for a week, f*****g her over and over.

She placed her small hands on my chest, I puffed up instantly and then we swayed with the music. I could stay in this moment forever.

Her cheeks turned the most adorable shade of red and she bit her bottom lip in embarrassment. F**K! I pushed through, forcing my wolf to stay in the back of my mind and I turned my attention to her. She looked completely flustered, she looked so cute, I couldn’t help but smirk at her.

“Hi..i’m Isaac.” I said softly.

There she went biting her lip again, I can’t believe how much I turn her on. Humans usually didn’t react so strongly to the mate bond at first. I couldn’t help myself anymore, I closed the distance between us and placed my hand on her smooth back. I bent down, bringing my face much closer to hers..

“Would you like another drink?” I asked.

“Yes.” My mate had the most angelic voice in existence.

“Am I getting a drink too or what ?!” UGH. Her friend was really getting on my nerves.

“My name’s Mila, and this is my friend Annie.” My sweet angel spoke again, and her name was also heavenly.

“Mila..” I whispered, taking it all in. I placed my hand on her waist and forced myself to be nice to her friend.

“Nice to meet you, Annie. What would you like to drink?” I asked her.

“Here’s another round of drinks!” Liam said.

“I thought I told you to dance with her friend, where were you? Entertain and keep her away from us for a while. And stop providing for my mate. I will provide for her.” I mindlinked him.

“Annie, let me give you a tour!” Liam said eagerly. Annie seemed a bit hesitant to leave Mila with me but she left anyways.

“Mila..” I said lowly, it was truly the sexiest name ever.

“Would you like to take a walk with me?” Man I hope she says yes, I really want to impress her. I would lasso the moon if she wants me to. I ran my hand in my hair nervously..

“Sure.” Mila looked at me and smiled! F**k yes! She has the prettiest smile in the world, I was so happy she was mine! I eagerly guided her to the backyard. When she saw the sparkly lights, she gasped in excitement. She was so adorable with her hand on her mouth, but I already missed her lips so I gently took her wrists and pulled her hand down.

“Please don’t hide those beautiful lips.” I said as she bit on her lip again and stared to the ground.

I pulled her chin up, I wasn’t done looking at those beautiful brown eyes yet, and I couldn’t have her mistreating those lips any longer. I placed my thumb on her lip and sparks flew through my entire body, I couldn’t help but growl. Now i’m sure she heard it this time..

I needed to taste her again..I pulled her chin up closer, until my lips met hers, creating fireworks in my body.

“I-I..can’t” Mila said as she pushed me slightly away. I could tell that she didn’t want to push me away at all, she wanted me. I internally sighed..I really hope I can get rid of this ‘boyfriend’ problem sooner than later.

“Shall we continue our walk then?” I asked smiling.

She nodded and smiled as I intertwined my fingers with hers and walked hand in hand with her through the garden.

“Tell me about yourself, Mila.” I said.

“Um, well i’ll be graduating highschool soon, I’m already done though. I finished early. I’m a lifeguard at the beach down home and I volunteer at an animal shelter. I live with my mother and my younger sister, Nora.” She answered in one breath. I giggled inside, I loved it that she was nervous.

“Wow, you have quite an interesting life, Mila. How did you get into being a lifeguard? You’re not scared of getting hurt?” I asked, a tad bit worried.

“Well..I’ve always loved swimming, and i’m rather good at it..but it was my friend Devin who encouraged me to be a lifeguard. I was having a hard time dealing with the passing of my father, I felt responsible for his death because he saved my life and I felt completely useless in that situation. Being able to protect people and saving people from drowning gives me purpose, I can control someone’s fate. It empowers me..” Mila answered. Holy crap..she had been through a lot it seemed.

“I’m glad Devin was there for you, I wish I had known you then and could have been there for you too. May I ask what happened to your father?” I asked gently, stopping our walk and holding her hands, forcing her to face me.

She told me the story of the creep who dared lay a hand on my mate. It enraged me, if I ever find out who he is, I will end his pathetic life.

She must of noticed how angry I was getting because she placed her soft hand on my cheek, smiling at me.

“It’s ok, i’m ok. I obviously wish my father would still be alive, but I have come to terms with it.” She answered softly.

I placed my hand behind her neck and looked into her eyes.

“You are so strong, Mila, and very brave. If you let me, I will make sure no danger ever comes close to you again. I will protect you and care for you and lo..” I said, stopping myself from getting carried away and scaring her.

She looked at me intently as her eyes started to water. I bent down closer and crashed my lips into hers. She wrapped her arms around my neck and deepened the kiss. I was on cloud nine. I held her face with one hand and grabbed her waist with the other. Fire was burning through my body, it was the most intense kiss I had ever had. I know she was feeling the same way I was, she let out small moans and I could smell her arousal again. I had to take it slow with her though..after this she has to forget all about her dumb little boyfriend.

We kissed eachother hungrily for a couple minutes, my d**k was throbbing against her, I could smell that she was equally turned on right now.

She gently grabbed my face and pushed herself away, her eyes still closed. She sighed.

“Isaac..I-I..really shouldn’t be doing this. I don’t know what’s gotten over me.” She said, sounding in pain. She grabbed her head and then slid down and sat her back to a tree and hid her face in her knees. My heart was breaking, I didn’t like to see her pained. I crouched down in front of her and ran my fingers through her soft wavy hair and gently placed my other hand on her knee.

“Mila..please look at me. Tell me what’s wrong.” I pleaded. She looked at me, confused.

“Why does it feel like i’ve known you forever? I just met you tonight but I feel so comfortable with you. I’m just the worst person ever, I..have a boyfriend.” She whispered.

“I feel very strongly for you too, Mila. I think if you feel this way..maybe, your boyfriend isn’t who you should be with..” I answered.

“This is all too much. I knew tequila was a bad idea, I don’t usually drink and I drank too much. I really should go back to my hotel room now.” Mila babbled as she got up quickly and lost balance. I caught her and sighed.

“Let me walk you to your room, please. I’ll be too worried that someone took advantage of you on your way home.” I pleaded.

“Yeah..that’s probably a good idea. I’m not leaving without Annie though.” She said.

“Liam, Mila is ready to go home. Can you bring Annie to the backyard?” I mindlinked Liam.

Silence.

“Liam?” I tried again.

“Mmmffft. *growling noise*” Oh..I guess Annie wasn’t leaving anytime soon.

I pretended to check my phone.

“Annie is with Liam. I don’t think she’ll be leaving soon..” I said to her.

“Oh..I guess I should have known.” Mila answered as she started to walk towards the road. I picked up my pace and quickly caught up to her.

I walked next to her quietly.

“You haven’t told me anything about yourself..” Mila said quietly.

“Well..I have an older brother, Cohen. He’s married to a woman named Whitney. I’m from not too far from here, my father was sort of a leader of our uh community. He bought that house on campus and I’m kinda in charge of it. My brother took over and is now the leader of our..community down home.” I answered hesitantly.

“What’s this ‘community’? It’s not a cult is it?!” Mila asked worried. I bursted out laughing.

“No! No no, it’s nothing like that. I’d love to show you someday..if you’d like.” I said hopeful.

She sighed and pressed her lips tight together.

“Well, this is my hotel. Thanks for walking with me, Isaac.” Mila said smiling genuinely. My god I loved how she said my name, I’d love to hear her yell my name out in pleasure..

“Anytime..Mila.” I said as I took her hand and placed a soft kiss.

“It has been truly wonderful meeting you tonight. I hope to see you again soon.” I said as I winked and walked back towards the packhouse.

And I would see her again..I would make sure of it.
