The location was close enough that it only took Kaira fifteen minutes to reach it, though she had to spend seven of those minutes on a high-speed mass transit. The location was in a rundown section of the station, but having seen how mobbed Jess had been she wasn’t surprised he’d chosen somewhere off the beaten track.
When she reached the address she found a building which had been cleaned up and repaired. It was in much better condition than those around it. She moved closer, steps slowing slightly, then pushed her way through the entrance.
