Chapter 25Pidge woke slowly, his bladder wanting him to get up, but the rest of him preferring to stay in bed, cuddled against the warmth of Giant’s body. A sudden fear struck him. He shook Giant’s arm.
“Mmph. Five more minutes,” Giant mumbled.
“Gi? Is Buddy here?”
“Huh?” Giant opened one eye. “Buddy? Should be in the living room. Why?”
“I was afraid I just dreamed about getting to keep him, and you saying we would live together.”
“You didn’t.” Giant smiled sleepily. “If you’re not sure last night happened, does that mean you feel fine?”
“Why wouldn’t I?”
“I thought your butt might hurt.”
“No.” Pidge started to sit up. “Ow. Maybe a little.”
“Sorry.” Giant kissed his shoulder. “I wish we had a tub. Think a shower would help?”
“I should take Buddy out first.”
