I paused, processing his words.
"Really?" I asked, a mix of relief and disbelief in my voice.
He nodded, extinguishing the cigarette. "Yeah. If it bothers you that much, I'll quit."

"Uh Raz..." I called out as I was about to say something. My eyes caught a familiar figure in the distance. Raz noticed my sudden distraction and shifted his gaze to where I was looking.
"What's the problem?" he asked, curiosity evident in his tone.
"I think I saw Verena with a man," I said, my voice trailing off as I tried to get a better look.
I was about to walk towards them when Raz suddenly pulled me back. The sudden movement brought us so close that I lost my balance, causing me to cling to him for support. I could feel his breath against my skin, and his face turned a deep shade of red. He quickly averted his gaze, clearly flustered.
"Let's go back inside," he said, his voice a bit strained.
