Chapter 9

"Ija, the your long gown is already here!" Mommy shouted she was in the kitchen preparing something for me.

Ngayon lang ulit nag stay si mommy dito, that's why she decided to make breakfast for me. Sobrang saya ko dahil alam kong sobrang busy niya this past few days lalo na at may bagong commercial properties nanaman kaming pinapatayo.

Like daddy sobrang hands on din ni Mommy sa work niya. She always tell me that she gets her dedication to work from Zach and I's grandfather. I believe na totoo nga yon dahil kita ko din ang pagiging dedicated ni Tito Juancho, Zach's father sa work niya. Kaya nga napalago din niya ang company nila e.

"Mom do you think it will look nice to me?" I survey the sparkling long gown. Sobrang ganda niya and I can say na it's expensive. Ito ang gagamitin kong gown for the big party.

"Ofcourse Ija! this would look perfect to you

Gaganapin ito sa Grand ball where our family owned. It is a yearly party where the other elites around the world would come. Mahirap makakuha ng gantong invitation I must say na yung mga may kaya lang talaga sa buhay ang makikita mo sa party na ito.

Zach's family are the host this year sobrang hands on na din si tita Emilia lalo na at Mahilig siya sa ganito. Katulong naman niya sa pag peprepare si Tita Elvira, Klent's mom sa pag peprepare dahil siya ang may alam sa ganoong industry.

I immediately made sukat the long gown to check. I look at the mirror and am so shocked when I see the long blue shinny dress really fits me.

"Look at you my angel, you're so pretty" Mom complimented me.

". Of course mommy, mana ako sayo e" I giggled

"Nangbola ka pa... look at the other box ija you should try it also. Let's see if you need any adjustment in that dress" I hurriedly open the box to see a nude simple elegant dress It was a Tube glittery dress that has a rinestone belt and above the knee length.

"Para saan to mommy?" I asked my mom confused.

"That's for the opening of our new hotel, remember?" I almost forgot.. Kasi naman it was scheduled nung nakaraang buwan but the construction slow down dahil sa bagyo.

"Oh.. It's finished na pala.."

"Yes baby.. sige na sukat mo nayan and after that eat this special perfect sandwich that I made" Mommy kissed me in my forehead before going back to the kitchen.

As I finished trying the dress I ate my bread that mom prepared. Hindi na din naman nag tagal si mommy at bumalik na din sa company. I was left here at the house bored. I browse my social media accounts para may magawa naman ako kahit papano.

"Ughhh... I should go back to my Iceskating team or enrolled to a balley class again! I hate being here alone sa house" I pouted binato ko ang phone ko sa couch. Tatayo na sana ako to get a water ng biglang nag ring ang cellphone ko

"Hello?" I answered the phone.

"Where are you?" It's Chandria, Nagulat pa ako kung bakit siya na patawag hindi naman niya ako tinatawagan usually.

"House, why?"

"Do you wanna come with me?" Chandria ask

"Where?"

"Basta. I know your bored, so am I! so I'm picking you up!" She Immediately ended the phone call. Inintay ko nalang siya hanggang sa makarating siya dito sa mansion.

We are all in the same village and all of our houses are mansions. We do have a huge fountain sa gitna ng bahay namin tapat ng door entrance there, so Chandria's car is parked.

Nandito na pala siya.. Buti nalang bihis na ako this girl really hates waiting.

"Hop in!" She didn't bother going out to her car.

I just texted mom and dad that I'm going to hang out with Chandria. Hindi ko alam kung kasama ba namin ang mga boys but I didn't bother to ask. Pinakiramdaman ko nalang. Mukang hindi naming sila makakasama dahil wala naman si Rad sa sasakyan or maybe susunod gamit Kang sarili nitong sasakyan.

I was wearing a simple white halter top that revealed my cleavage, a mini skirt, a denim jacket, and a pair of white stilettos. She wore a denim tube top with a denim skirt, stilettos, and shades, and she let her straight hair down. Chandria looked absolutely stunning, like a true model.

"I heard you have a new pet?" Chandria asked all of a sudden. Kanina pa siyang nakatutok sa cellphone niya kayak nag phone nalang din oak ng biglang saiyang magsalita. Naguguluhan akong tumingin sakanya. A pet? I don't have one.. I wanted a dog, but I'm allergic to fur.

"I don't have a new pet. They didn't allow me to get a dog, remember?"

"Not that kind of pet" she let out a laugh.

"Then what pet are you pertaining to?" I asked dahil hindi ko talaga magets ang pinupunto niya.

"Not what Emily. It's who" Chandria calls me Emily pag naasar na siya sa mga sinasabi ko pero hindi ko pa din nagegets yung sinasabi niya. "Ang ganda ganda mo kaso you're kinda mahirap kausap"

"Sorry.. I don't get it, kasi"

"Raz told us that you have an asungot daw. And he's poor." She rolled her eyes.

"Raz?" I asjed ctotally confused

"Yup!" maikli nitong sagot agad na pumasok sa utak ko sa Luis siya lang naman ang na encounter ni Raz nung nakaraan. Sinabi na pala ni Raz sakanila. Agad akong kinabahan dahil baka mamaya pag initan nanaman nila Zach si Luis.

"He's not asungot Chandria. " I corrected him.

"Oh gosh! Here you go again. That's why I also understand that dummy e"

I just remained silent. I know na ganon lang talaga magsalita si Chandria. Pero I was just sad coz they all think of thenm as alila or a pet. Hindi rin naman nag tagal ang byahe namin a nakadating na kami sa pupuntahan namin. Nagulat pa ao ng makitang sa bar kami pupunta ni Chandria.

"Let's go!" Chandria commanded signaling me to follow her

"Hey! why are we here?" I asked confused "Does your kuya know that we are here?"

"What? No! kaya you better not tell anyone" she said I have a bad feelings about this kasi hindi naman kami masyadong napunta sa bar specially kami lang dalawa, I drink.. I admit it but pagkasama klang sila.

"Magagalit sila if they discover that we are here"

"Kaya nga hindi natin ipapaalam Zariyah" she said " wait.. ayaw mo ba akong kasama?" she pouted her lips naawa naman agad ako sa sudden reaction niya nakikita ko sa muka niyang gusto nga lang niya talaga ng kasama. Nakakagulat lang dahil ako ang niyaya niya at hindi si Xianee. Dahil kahit naman palihim ay magagawang tumakas ni Xianee para sakanya at sa kuya nito.

"Let's party!" Chandria shouted. She pore me a drink na sobrang punong puno. We both drink it bottoms up. Agad naman akong napangiwi sa lasa nito. I hate alcohol.

"Chandria.. I'm getting dizzy na" After a 20 shots we both felt dizzy

"Me too" she shouted in my ears "but it was fun right" we both laughed. Tawa lang kami ng tawa habang nag sasayaw. I must say na sobrang saya namin dalawa. I decided to sit down dahil nahihilo na talaga ako sa kalasingan. Sumunod naman agad siya at umupo sa tabi ko.

"Since.." I looked at her ng magsalita siya napabuntong hininga pa siya bago mgsalita " Parehas naman tayong lasing, Do you have a crush?"

"Uh?"

"Well sorry that was a stupid question, of course you do! It's Raz. What I mean is how do you collect courage to admit it not just to him but to yourself also?"

Nanahimik ako sandali. Hindi alam ang sasabihin. It was hard lalo na kung itatangi mo sa sarili mo in my case tinanggap ko na noon pa.

I both look at each other

"You know what if you think that you are in love or you have a crush on some one, just accept it. Dahil ikaw lang naman mahihirapan if you keep on hiding that to yourself" i held her hands "Chandria, It's okay to hide things from others... but please be true to yourself" I smiled at her sweetly babahagyang nawala ang amats naming dalawa but then he pour us a drink and cheers.

"By the way, do you want to tell me who that lucky guy is?"

"Just someone, yeah.. someone. Definitely elite"

We both just continued drinking we didn't notice the time it was 1 am in the morning. We both enjoyed the party madami na ding mga lalaki ang lumalapit saamin, ang iba ay nakikilalang elite kami pero ang iba naman ay hindi. We are surrounded of different people kaya hindi na din nakakapagtaka na hindi kami kilala ng iba.

"No! I don't like you get your hands off of me" Chandria shouted

"What is happening here!" there are two guys holding Chandria, chandria knows how to defend herself kahit ilan pa yan we are all trainbed to defend our self ngunit sa kalasingan niya ay hindi niya kakayaning laban ang dalawa. In a self-defense situation where an attacker has their back turned to you, it’s important to prioritize safety and take advantage of the moment to escape but in my situation they are holding Chandria that's why I need to attack.

I used my elbow to strike the head one guy na nakatalikod sa aakin. agad na na nabitawan ng lalaki si Chandria. and because of that Chandria, with her strength and skill, managed to grab hold of the attacker and forcefully bring them down to the ground. I also punch the guys faced. ng matumba na sila ay dali dali kaming umalis sa area. Dahil hindi na kami makakalaban pa dahil sa kalasingan .

I grab my phone out of my bag at ganon din si Chandria. I didn't hesitate to call my driver but it didn't pick up. Tinawagan ko na din si Zach for help.

"Where are you!" bungad saakin ni Zach sa telepono hindi pa ako nakakasagot kay Zach ay nadinig ko ang sigaw ni Chandria tumingin ako sakanya at agad agad siyang lumapit saakin. The bad guys are outside,

"Where doomed Zari, I cannot fight anymore. I'm dizzy" Chandria said while holding my wrist where on the same height kaya magkalebel lang kami. the bad guys are looking for us everywhere. Dumami na din dila ang kaninang dalawa ay naging sampu pa.

"Hubadin mo ang stilletos mo Chandria"

"Gosh I can't . I'm gonna vomit"

"Not now Chandria, You sure youcan't fight na?" i asked Chandria just knod here head. We both a good fightrs kahit ako na ayaw sa violent ay may alam din. it is our parents way to help us dapat ay kaya namin pagtanggol ang sarili namin.

"Zari come on" I heard Zach from my phone

"Kuya, We can't fight anymore.. their on their way kuya.. They are 10 Chandria and I cannot taek them down we're drunk"

"f**k!" I heard at the phone

"Kuya Hurry!" Chandria said nakikita nanamin papalapit ang mga lalaki

"We don't have a choice Chandria please"

"Okay, but I want to vomit"

hinila ko patayo si Chandria. hindi pa man kami completely nakakatayo ay nagulat nalang kami na we are surrounded by them dahan dahan kaming gumalaw paatras at unti unti silang lumalpit.
