NEXT DAY:

BREE'S PLACE - EVENING.

Bree is wearing a nice party dress and ready to leave home.

She gets a phone call from Olivia.

AN ELITE BANQUET

HALL:

The place is almost full with rich-looking people. Olivia is here talking on the phone with Bree.

OLIVIA

(into the phone)

Are you coming? I've messaged you the address. Did you get it?

BREE

(wearing her shoes)

Yeah, I got it. I'm coming.

THE BANQUET HALL:

MAIN ENTRANCE.

Kaden arrives in his car. He gets out and moves towards the entrance. At this moment Bree arrives in a taxi, too. First she checks the address again from inside the taxi, then she pays the taxi driver and gets out. She enters the building in a hurry just after Kaden. He is still in the lobby. He turns around at the sound and sees Bree. He can't believe his eyes. It's the street walker he saw yesterday! Here, in this place!

KADEN

What are you doing here?

BREE

Sorry?

KADEN

I asked what you are doing here!

Who let you in?

BREE

I was invited..

KADEN

(cuts her short)

Invited?

(with irony)

Who could possibly invite you?

BREE

Sorry but may I ask ...

KADEN

Just leave! Now!

BREE

What?

At this moment a security guy comes up.

SECURITY GUY

(to Kaden)

Any problem, sir?

KADEN

Yeah! Please, escort the...

(looks at Bree, with

sarcasm)

lady to the door!

Security without arguing, gently grabs Bree's elbow and starts slightly pulling her towards the door.

SECURITY GUY

Miss, please.

Bree is shocked. She didn't even understand what just happened.

BREE

(to the security guy)

What are you doing? Let go of me!

The security guy is ignoring Bree completely, still pulling her towards the door. And Kaden calmly moves towards the main banquet hall. Now the security guy has taken Bree out the front door. She finally pulls her elbow out of his grasp.

BREE (CONT'D)

Okay! Okay! I'm leaving!

And she starts walking away from the place. She starts crying. Bree has never been so humiliated before. She thinks these all happened because it was a place for rich people and she didn't fit in. Olivia is calling again. Bree wipes her tears away from her cheeks with her hand and picks up the phone.

OLIVIA

Where are you?

BREE

(clears her throat)

Ah, Olivia... Sorry. I can't come. Something urgent came up. And I have to go back. I don't think I can make it today.

OLIVIA

Are you serious?? What happened?

BREE

I can't talk now. I'll talk to you later, okay?

OLIVIA

Bree, are you okay?

But Bree has already hung up. She is walking back home on the sidewalk of the road. Still crying.

NEXT DAY. UNIVERSITY.

Bree, Steven and one more girl are here. Olivia comes up.

OLIVIA

(to Bree)

Hey, what happened to you last

night?

Bree is so embarrassed about the situation that she doesn't want anyone to know that she was kicked out of a place just because she was not rich.

BREE

Oh, sorry. There was a problem

with my landlord. But now it is

all right.

She picks up her things to leave.

OLIVIA

Where are you going? I thought

we'll have coffee together?

BREE

Sorry, guys, I have a job

interview scheduled.

A COFFEE SHOP:

Olivia, Steven and the girl we saw a while ago, are here. Sitting at a table and drinking coffee. Bree appears and sits at their table. She looks dejected.

STEVEN

Any luck?

BREE

No. They need someone experienced.

Not me.

STEVEN

Sorry.

BREE

I need to find a job urgently. Otherwise, I won't be able to pay my rent, bills..

She sadly sighs and hangs her head.

OLIVIA

(after thinking a little

bit)

Listen. I can help you find a job.

Bree's eyes immediately shine with happiness.

OLIVIA (CONT'D)

There are some vacancies in my

friend's company. I can ask him

for a favor. For you.

BREE

(very happy)

Thank you! Thank you!

OLIVIA

But I have one condition. Just

one.

BREE

(satisfied)

I'll do whatever you want.

OLIVIA

There's a party at our place this weekend. You are coming.

Bree smiles.

AN OFFICE:

A young woman is reading Bree's resume and interviewing Bree for a job.

THE WOMAN

All you have to do is register the post, letters, journals etc. and deliver them to the related people in the office. Understand?

BREE

Got it.

THE WOMAN

Okay then. You can start from

tomorrow. Bring your documents

with you, please.

Bree is happy.

THE WEEKEND.

OLIVIA'S HOUSE:

It is the big house we saw at the beginning of the movie. At a little distance from outside, through the windows, we see the silhouettes of young people inside. The sound of music is also heard outside the house. Now we see them from inside. There aren't many people. Around fifteen rich- and intelligent-looking young people.

FRONT DOOR.

Bree is knocking at the door. She is wearing a simple dress. Olivia opens the door.

OLIVIA

Oh, I'm so happy you came!

And hugs her. Bree is smiling.

OLIVIA (CONT'D)

Come in! I will introduce you to

my friends and my brother.

They go inside. When they enter the room everyone inside turns their heads to look at them. So does Kaden. He can't believe his eyes again. This girl again! This time in his house!

OLIVIA (CONT'D)

Okay, everybody! This is my very

good friend Bree. Please welcome

her!

Everyone greets Bree warmly and with respect. She nods "Thank you" at them. Kaden says nothing.

THE PARTY IS GOING ON..

Olivia leaves the room and goes to the kitchen for something and Bree is left alone in the room full of strangers. She feels a little awkward and uneasy. Although she is standing next to the buffet table she is not eating anything. She hasn't seen Kaden yet. And here he comes! He approaches the buffet table. Bree doesn't notice him. She is watching the other guests. Kaden, pretending he is taking some food into his plate, starts talking to Bree without looking at her.

KADEN

(angry, in a low voice)

What are you doing here?

BREE

I'm sorry?

And when she turns to see the voice that is speaking to her, she sees him. It is the guy who turned her away from the banquet hall the other day! She is speechless.

KADEN

(in a low voice again) Would you please leave my house right now! Don't spoil the party. Just leave quietly!

Then he calmly moves towards the guests as if nothing had happened. Bree is going through the same feeling she had that day when they met at the banquet hall. Her eyes brim with tears. She quickly but quietly leaves the place and starts walking away from the house as fast as she can. She is hurt and she is crying again.

BREE

(to herself, while

walking away)

Oh God! What kind of people exist in this world?! How can you treat someone like trash just because you are rich?

BACK TO THE

OLIVIA'S AND

KADEN'S HOUSE:

Olivia comes back into the room. She can't see Bree and starts calling her. Bree is walking away and crying at this moment. She doesn't want to pick up the phone. Then she decides to text Olivia instead as she doesn't want to talk to her right now.

BREE (CONT'D)

(messaging on the phone)

I'm sorry, Olivia. I had to leave.

Something came up. See you later.

NEXT MORNING:

THE OFFICE WHERE BREE HAS STARTED WORKING PART TIME.

Kaden is one the owners of the company. Of course, Bree doesn't know it. Kaden enters the office. Bree is already here, working. While Kaden is walking towards his office his assistant (a young woman) is informing him of the meetings he has during the day. And when Kaden is just about to step into his office, he notices Bree. This girl is everywhere!

KADEN

(angry, in a low voice)

This is too much!

HIS ASSISTANT

I'm sorry, Mr. Elmer?

KADEN

What is this girl doing here?

The assistant turns to see who he is talking about and sees Bree.

ASSISTANT

Ms. Dane? She is a new

registration assistant...

KADEN

(interrupts her)

Fire her immediately!

ASSISTANT

(confused)

Okay, Mr. Elmer...

KADEN

But first, tell her to come to my office!

KADEN'S OFFICE:

Gentle knock at the door. It's Bree.

KADEN (CONT'D)

Yeah!

Bree opens the door and comes in.

BREE

You wanted to see me, sir.

Kaden is reading something and his face is not clearly seen. But when he hears Bree's voice, he turns to her and she sees him. She literally gets startled.

BREE (CONT'D)

You? What are you doing here?

KADEN

No! What are YOU doing here? How

many times do I have to kick you

out?

BREE

I work here!

KADEN

Not anymore!

BREE

No, you can't do this! I need this job!

KADEN

Need this job? I wonder for what? Whatever! I don't care what you need! Just leave the building immediately! Now!

Bree is looking at him helplessly. Tears start running down her cheeks. She wipes her tears, but they don't seem to stop coming.

KADEN (CONT'D)

Do I have to repeat myself? Or do you need security to escort you again?

Bree understands that she can't do anything and she just sadly turns to leave without saying anything.

KADEN (CONT'D)

(in a loud voice)

And stay away from my sister!

Bree stops and looks at him confused.

BREE

Your sister?

KADEN

Olivia. Stay away from her!

Bree can't speak for a moment, then she finds her voice.

BREE

Why are you doing this?

KADEN

Just stay away from her! I don't want people like you to be around my sister!

Bree says nothing and leaves.
