"Hey! Watch out." Richard Anderson exclaimed. He just left a conference and was in a hurry to get to the car park. He was heading to the restaurant where he had booked dinner with his mother whom he had been promising to go out with all this while but couldn't due to his busy schedule. Linda Thompson, who was lost in her thoughts, accidentally collided with him. "I am so sorry sir," she replied to him almost immediately, with a tone that signifies she has been sobbing. "Miss, what happened? You do not sound fine." Richard said with concern in his voice. "I…I…don't…know what…" Linda stammered as she bursted into tears. "Okay, it's fine, I don't know what might have happened, but now I have to go cause I'm about to miss an appointment" Richard told her with a look of concern. "Here's my card" he said as he was about to hand over his business card to her. "Don't worry about this, give me your mobile number instead," he said. Linda called it out for him "I would reach out to you tonight" "Take care of yourself please, whatever is going on, stay calm until we see, trust me I can solve your problem." Richard said firmly. He believes that money can do all things. Richard's love for fashion had made him a pro in his fashion business. He was able to make a name in the market within three years of establishing his fashion house. He got to his house after eating dinner with his mother, trying to reflect on how his day went, he remembered he met a lady. "I almost forgot, I need to call her", he said to himself He checked his call dial and saw the number. "I didn't introduce myself and I don't know her name. I hope she remember me" he soliloquized He dialled the number, the phone rang on the other end "Hello", Linda said immediately she picked call. "Hey, good evening", Richard said sharply. "I am Richard, I forgot to introduce myself to you when we met this evening" "Oh, good evening, Mr. Richard" Linda replied him "I am Linda, thanks for the other time and I am so sorry" "Nah, it's fine. Can we meet tomorrow? I guess there is an urgent matter we need to pay attention to." Richard said. "Pardon my manners" he continues "How are you doing now?" On the other end of the call, Linda replied him calmly "I am fine now, I should say Thanks for reaching out to me." "To your question sir, Yes, we can meet tomorrow" "Just text me the address" "Alright, No qualms I would do that And please drop the honorifics. Just call me Richard." Richard said with a tone of laughter in his voice. The call ended after they bid each other goodnight. "Wow, Linda!" "Few hours ago, you were sobbing and now you are smiling Who is that man that has been able to make you switch to happy mode?" Said Gabriella after Linda's call with Richard ended. Gabriella has been a friend to Linda, she is like a sister to her. Her family and her have been supportive to Linda since she lost her parents. Linda has been staying with Gabriella since she has not been herself lately "How did you know that it's a man?" Linda said with curiosity in her eyes "Who else can make the almighty non-social Linda to smile for the first time in a long time?" Gabriella replied laughing. "Well, the full gist would be dispense later For now, I need to sleep" Linda said. The day was going well for Richard. He has a fashion shoot to direct for his upcoming magazine, it went well. The models, clothing and and his entire crews did an amazing job. "Team dinner tonight!" His shoot director shouted. Everyone supported him. "Oh, I need to be excluded, I have an apoointment" Richard cuts in "Alright boss" Richard's personal assistant replied him. "Hi Linda, How're you doing?" Richard said when Linda got the table he has reserved for them. Richard booked dinner at a restaurant so they could spend time to discuss while they eat. Linda got there right on time and met Richard who has been at the restaurant 5 minutes before their meeting time. "I'm fine, Richard Good evening, Nice suit by the way, it fits you" Linda said smiling. "Thank you . You look beautiful. Now you are smiling, I'm glad to see that" Richard replied They ordered their meals and ate. "I'm glad to meet you,you look radiant" "What happened yesterday?" Richard asked after they've ate, as he breaks the silence. "Hummm…. I've been trying to start up my business and it has not been easy for me because I don't have a capital." "I applied for a loan which was my last hope but I wasn't granted On my way back, feeling dejected, I met you" Linda explained to Richard "Okayy, You have a business plan, right? What is the business all about?" Richard asked curiously. "Yes, I have, I am an hair stylist, I want to open a*****e where I can sell hair accessories and also I would operate hair styling services" Linda explained. "Can you send it to me? I need to know your capital. I can help you with something to start with" Richard told her. "Thank you so much I am grateful" Linda said teary "It's fine I don't know why I was so concerned about you, but yea…I'm glad I could help" "Feel free to call me, I would always be there to help you" Richard said smiling. The money Richard sent to Linda was enough to start up the hair accessories business. She got a*****e and a supplier was introduced to her. She ordered hair accessories from the supplier. Few days later, she found out that there was a problem. Linda became traumatized.
