Tuesday 16th December
Dear Diary
I know it’s been a little over a week since either Bradon or I have written an entry. We came back to the Harness Moon pack early for our mid-semester break. Our household got permission to leave early, to attend Mum’s funeral. Everyone except Nathan, Naomi and Sarah. Jacob stayed behind until they finished up on Friday.
“I still think it was unfair they weren’t given permission”, I huffed as Bradon chuckled nervously next to me. We’ve had the same conversation for the last two days, and he gives the same nervous chuckle every time we discuss it. “Just because they aren’t directly related to Mum, they are my family and I want them here.”
“It would have been different if she was still the beta female” Bradon said as I rolled my eyes. Yeah,
