“Silver, this is all in the strictest of confidence. I am not authorized to tell you this, but I need your help to set things right.”
Kim lied again. They were authorized to do whatever they wanted. As long as the Foundation came out ahead, they never had to show their work or produce receipts.
The problem was that Silver was on the wrong side. Telling him the truth would likely win him over.
