Andrea married another guy

1077 Words
It was 8 o'clock in the evening, and the clock chimed. When Samantha got to her front door, she stopped short. She takes a few backward steps as she surveys the pitch black inside of the home. Scared, she turned on the lights and opened the doors. Upon entering the darkened room, Samantha is taken aback to find her mother, Andrea, drinking vodka and standing before her with her head bowed. "I'm sorry I abandoned you, mom. Because we never really communicated, I never worked up the nerve to tell you that I don't care for Johnson. I apologize, "Sam sobbed and knelt in front of Andrea. After drinking the vodka and announcing her departure on an international adventure, Andrea tossed her locker keys to the ground. As Samantha realizes the perplexity of the situation, she becomes shocked and begs her to stay. "The last thing I need is to have to see you. Get out of my line of sight." Andrea let out an angry cry and smashed the vodka glass on the ground. Samantha is taken aback and begs her for some time alone to discuss how much she has missed her love and attention over the years. Andrea shut herself in her room without even hearing Samantha's warning. Samantha confused as to why her mother was avoiding her, knocked on Andrea's door. "Please, Mom, accompany me outside. I left without explaining why I thought we should call off the wedding, so I apologize. However, if you'll allow me some time, I'd like to cry in your lap. Before this, I had no experience with maternal warmth and had never even touched you. So, bear with me for a while, Mom." Samantha sat on the floor crying and said. She kept staring at the entrances, expecting her mother to come out and let them in. The realization that her mother was not interested in talking to her finally dawned on her, and she retreated to her bedroom. She tossed the pillows to the floor in a rage and self-hatred at her failure to earn her mother's love and approval. Samantha sobbed through the night, staring at the doorway, hoping that Andrea would appear. The next morning, Samantha found out that her father had been in an accident and was being treated at the hospital via a phone call she received upon waking. Frightened and anxious, Samantha hurries toward her mother's bedroom after experiencing a sudden jolt. "Please, Mom, accompany me outside. There was an incident with Dad. We have to get to the hospital immediately." Samantha yelled and banged on the open doors, but no one answered. She looked for Andrea everywhere but to no avail. After a long wait, she finally hurried inside and called her mother, but she abruptly hung up when she heard a car outside. As far as Samantha could tell, her mother had come and gone through the front door. But suddenly, to her utter dismay, she sees her mother approaching in a wedding gown, accompanied by a man. Because she had no idea who he was, she took a few steps backward and felt her heart rate spike. "Let me introduce myself; my name is Peter. As of today, I will be your father. A few minutes ago, I married your Mom in the church." Peter, now 40 years old, replied cheerfully. Samantha glanced at her mother in disbelief as she heard the news. "There's no point in engaging with those who don't value my opinion. Step inside with me." Andrea said as she led Peter inside. As she ended things with James, Samantha sat on the steps, at a loss for words. Her eyes fill with tears, and she makes the difficult decision to visit the hospital since she knows she cannot end the relationship in that way. She checked her purse but knew that the money she had wouldn't be enough because she had no idea what had happened to James or how he was doing. Although she was close to her mother's bedroom door, she dared not open it since she could hear her mother laughing and moaning from inside. "Mom, as soon as possible, could you kindly step outside?" Samantha mustered her nerve and asked. Peter emerged from the house shirtless and in boxers after some time had passed. Samantha, overcome with embarrassment, turned her face away and wore a hostile scowl. She stated she had to get in touch with her mother. "To what do you attribute your feelings of timidity? Don't you think you could find a guy like this? According to your mother, you and another person absconded from the house. Don't pretend you didn't see his body in this state." Peter, an expression of lust on his face, inquired. Samantha's mother had just come outside when she heard Peter's statements, and she looked at her in shock. Samantha had anticipated that Andre would take the blame, but she was taken aback when he invited Peter to come inside, saying there was no point in engaging such a bland young lady. Samantha held back the tears and admitted that she "needed some quantity," as her father had been in an accident. "Dad! Where did you get your dad's name? Only your father, Peter, is present. He's quite content being in my company. So tell me, why do you require this sum specifically?" In a casual tone, Andrea inquired. "The way you severed ties with your mom was too easy for me to replicate. Due to technical difficulties, I cannot use my credit or debit cards, and I do not currently have any liquid funds." Samantha asked rhetorically. "I've disabled your cards, so they won't work starting today. Peter is in charge of all of this money and property, so you'll need to get his okay before spending it, "The adamant statement of Andrea. Samantha beamed and explained that she could get by without material possessions but would accept a modest donation to help her sick father. "There is no connection between us. No one in the house should ever mention his name again. I apologize if that is why you called ".Samantha's face was slammed into the door as Andrea spoke. Sam was startled and went to knock, but she stopped when she heard laughter and mutterings coming from inside. She left the house when she realized she had no idea of James' condition or where to find the money for treatment.
