Where was he? Why was everything around him so dark, so gloomy. Why did it feel like his chest was burning with a fire which he could not douse? It was not only painful, but Sam felt like he was incapable of drawing a decent breath. There was a warmth on his forehead. Gentle strokes which instantly made him feel better. He could not move the tiniest inch though, everywhere was aching. “I got you, Sam. I got you,” a familiar voice was murmuring soothing words, in between desperate prayers to the Moon Goddess. Ella.
