Avery giggled the bell and said, “Time up!” James gave the microphone to the MC with his head bowed. “Over to the judges!” the MC said. “Well, it is a no from me. Next time, put in your best,” Benjamin said. “It’s a no from me too!” Avery said. “It is a yes from me, guy, but you have to work more on yourself,” Bentley said. “It’s alright. My judges have spoken, you can go back to your seat. My audience, don’t be tired of clapping!” MC said. As James walked back to his seat, the audience clapped and screamed as if there was no tomorrow. “Now, we have come to the end of the show. It’s now left for our judges to tell us the three best contestants. Permit me to welcome Bentley to come on stage. A round of applause for him as he saunters forward,” MC said. The audience screamed and clapped for Bentley as he sauntered towards the dais. Bentley collected the microphone from the MC and began, “To all my contestants, you have really tried. I want you all to work on your lapses, you can become the latest Stevie’s Wonder and the rest. My audience, thank you all for your time; thumbs up to you!” Bentley said and paused. “Ride on!!” some people said. “Alright…, thank you all,” Bentley said. He smiled and continued, “I will call the best contestants why the dignitaries give the jackpots. The third position goes to the tenth contestant, Master Abraham! A round of applause for him as he saunters forward!” The audience clapped and screamed as Abraham walked to the dais. Abraham climbed the dais and stood beside Bentley. “Let’s keep clapping as the pioneer of William’s Foundation Music Contest, Mr. William, come forward,” MC said. The audience clapped and screamed intensively as Mr. William sauntered towards the dais. He climbed the dais and said, “I would have loved to speak now, but I reserve my comment.” Mr. William brought out a 2, 000 USD cheque and handed it over to Abraham. As he did this, the twosome posed and the cameramen took their shots. “Thank you very much, sir. Abraham, you can go to your seat now. Congratulations!” MC said. “Thank you, sir,” Abraham said with head bowed. He left the dais for his seat, clutching the cheque and amid the clap. “Alright…, people! The second position goes to the first contestant, Master Miles. A round of applause for him as he saunters forward!” Bentley said. As Miles sauntered forward, the audience clapped and screamed. Miles climbed the dais and stood beside Mr. William. “Congratulations! And I'm happy for you,” Mr. William said. He brought out a 4, 000 USD cheque and handed it over to Miles. As he did this, the cameramen took their shots. “Good. Master Miles, you can go back to your seat. Let the clap continue!” MC said. Miles left the dais exuberantly amid the claps and screams. “It’s enough, people! Now, I want to call the overall best contestant; who could this person be? The first position goes to the fourth contestant, Miss Sadie!” Bentley said. Everyone stood up joyfully as Sadie joined the personalities at the dais. “Congratulations, young lady; you have surmounted everything…,” Mr. William said. Sadie smiled and said, “Thank you, sir.” Mr. William handed over a 6, 000 USD cheque to Sadie; as he did this, the cameramen took their shots. “Miss Sadie, you can go to your seat now as the pioneer gives his speech,” Bentley said and handed over the microphone to Mr. William. Sadie clutched her cheque and sauntered back to her seat amid the screams and claps. “Enough…, people!” Mr. William said and paused. He then continued, “On this occasion of William’s Foundation Music Contest, the 7th edition to be precise, I congratulate you all for making it here. I trust you’ve had fun here?” “Yes, we have!” the audience said. “Sure! To all my contestants, you’ve all tried. I want you all to see today’s failure as a stepping stone to your greatness in life. You will definitely succeed if you have a passion for success. And to my dignitaries, audience, orchestra and everyone; thank you all for coming, you’ve really made today a reality. Since the birthing of William’s Foundation Music Contest seven years ago, it’s been from glory to glory. Can I hear you scream?” Mr. William said and paused for the audience to scream. He then continued, “Without you and I, there would be nothing like William’s Foundation Music Contest. We are all qualified members of the organization; a round of applause for yourselves!” Mr. William said and paused for the audience to clap. “ For every man's success, there is always a woman behind it. Therefore, I acknowledge my submissive wife; a round of applause for her,” Mr. William said and paused for the audience to clap. “I also appreciate my ever committed team; a round of applause for us all,” Mr. William said and paused for the audience to clap. “I can't keep mentioning the names of people who had, in one way or the other, blessed the organization; your rewards are with God. I think I have to stop here because of our time. Thank you all for coming!” Mr. William said and handed over the microphone to the MC. “A round of applause to the founder as he walks back to his seat,” MC said. The audience screamed and clapped as Mr. William sauntered back to his seat. The orchestra displayed too. “From the founder’s speech, one can easily tell that he is witty and appreciative. Without wasting our time, now, permit me to welcome the compatible woman, Mrs. William as she lead us in the benediction. A round of applause for her as she saunters forward!” MC said.
