How was your night?” King Rehoboth said. “It was fine, my king; and I guess my king had his royal night,” Dean said. King Rehoboth smiled and said, “What do you want?” “My king, the chief are assembled in the inner chamber, they are anticipating your presence,” Dean said. “Alright. Tell them I will join them in a jiffy,” King Rehoboth said. “Alright, my king,” Dean said and sauntered away. King Rehoboth stood up from his couch, he carried his office staff and walked towards the entree. “Let’s be silent! The king is here,” Easton said as soon as he saw king Rehoboth. King Rehoboth walked to his throne and sat down. “Long live the king!” the chiefs said. “May we all live long. What does this gathering hold?” King Rehoboth said as he gazed at the chiefs' faces simultaneously. “My king, the maidens are ready…,” Parker said. “Really? That’s good to hear,” King Rehoboth said. “Yes, my king. They will all gather here tomorrow morning to flaunt their beauty,” Parker said. “And my king will choose the most beautiful!” Cooper said, and all the chiefs laughed. “Cooper, I hope you are not on my nerves?” King Rehoboth said. “I can never be on your nerves, my king,” Cooper said with a smile. “I can’t wait to choose a new wife. I will be the happiest king tomorrow,” King Rehoboth said. “And we will be happy for you, my king,” Theodore said. “How many maidens will be in attendance, Chief Parker?” King Rehoboth said. “They are in their twenties, my king,” Parker said. “That’s a whole lot! Or how do you see that?” King Rehoboth said. “Yes, it is!” the chiefs said. “I hope they are all pretty?” King Rehoboth said with a gesture, and the chiefs laughed. “Pretty is an understatement, my king,” Parker said. “I like that. I think we have to call this meeting a day, so that we can be prepared for tomorrow,” King Rehoboth said. “Alright, our king!” the chiefs chorused. “Don’t you think this chamber needs to be ornamented?” King Rehoboth said. “It is necessary, my king,” Emmet and Cooper said. “Does anyone know any ornamentalists?” King Rehoboth said. “Yes, I do; I know a lot of them,” Easton said. “I need one who knows his or her work very well. Do you have someone like that?” King Rehoboth said. “Yes, I do. I will tell her to come over to the palace, so that she can do the ornamenting today,” Easton said. “Good. Cooper, tell Xavier to meet me in my bed chamber,” King Rehoboth said and stood up. “Alright, my king,” Cooper said. “You can all leave for your homes now,” King Rehoboth said. “Long live the king!” the chiefs said and sauntered towards the exit door, while king Rehoboth walked towards the direction of his chamber. Peyton was sipping a cupful of coffee. As she sipped the coffee, she was gazing at the actions displayed on the television screen. “Mum, you are here,” Luca said as he sauntered to the sitting room. “How are you, Luca. Please, come and sit beside mummy,” Peyton said. “Alright, mum,” Luca said and sat beside Peyton on the couch. “Will you mind a cupful of coffee?” Peyton said. “I would love a cupful of tea instead,” Luca said and gazed at Peyton’s face. “Alright, watch this coffee for me. I will go to the kitchen now and make you a tea,” Peyton said. “Alright, mum,” Luca said. Peyton stood up from her couch, she placed the cup on the table and walked to the kitchen. “How are you this evening, Luca?” Charles said as he walked to the sitting room. Luca gazed at Charles' face and said," I am fine, dad, and you?” “I am also fine,” Charles said. He sat down and said, “And where is your mum?” “She walked to the kitchen not quite long ago; she will join us soon,” Luca said. “Okay; and why is the coffee gazing at you?” Charles said. “Well, you know I don’t like coffee, especially when it is served hot. This coffee belongs to mum,” Luca said. Charles stood up and carried the cup. “This coffee is good,” he said as he took the first sip of the coffee. He walked back to his seat clutching the cup with his right hand. “Dad, don’t finish the coffee,” Luca said. “And what are you doing with my coffee?” Peyton said as she walked to the sitting room carrying a mug. “I have only taken three sips of the coffee,” Charles said. “Hey! Give me my coffee…,” Peyton said and collected the cupful of coffee from Charles. “Who taught you to be stingy?” Charles said with a smile. “It’s you, you know,” Peyton said as she handed the cupful of tea to Luca. “Thank you, mum,” Luca said and took his first sip. “I need my own tea also,” Charles said. “Jealousy everywhere. Well, I will get you a tea and this time around, I am carrying my cup,” Peyton said. “You can carry the table alongside,” Charles said, and Peyton laughed. Peyton sauntered away from the sitting room, clutching the cupful of coffee.
